Thanks again for answering my question, I’ve returned home and wanted to update my experience for anyone else who may have wanted more info on the same NA questions. Barcelona had SO MANY options for non drinkers (besides the boring basics of water, soda etc) We obvs drank lots of delicious expression and cortados, BUT everywhere we went had NA beer (and they were delicious) some places had NA cocktails on menus or in the case of the nice 7 course meal we had they were happy to whip things up. Even the wine store had a really good red and white NA wine (and they sold 0.0 Tanqueray too) It never felt awkward and in fact felt more inclusive than any where else I’ve ever been including here in US. We felt like we got to really enjoy our experiences to the fullest and no one blinked an eye at the request. Truly a wonderful time and experience and we can’t wait to come back 8:36

I was down the beach last weekend and with the weather being surprisingly warm for February there was a lot of activities going on like volleyball and people just chilling on the beach.lovley . I never got asked of proof for bank account details or where my hotel was. All that happened was my passport was stamped which never happened before but no biggey.
This past weekend was incredibly nice!

Hi, Patrick! Love watching all of your videos. I need to pick your brain. What do you recommend for a city pass if you’re coming into Barcelona early on 5/13, leaving on a cruise the next day but coming back the following week staying from Sunday to Monday. I plan to cram a lot into the time that I’m there. Do you think it’s worth it to get the digital tourist card, the Barcelona card, or the tourist card? If so which one and why? Thanks for all your helpful information!
Thank you Lisette. You can get a two day Barcelona travel card with unlimited travel and free entrance to many museums for the second leg.

I had a quick question. I am planning on perhaps seeing Mallorca or Ibiza in the next few months.
Would you by chance know any differences between the two? (Ibiza and Mallorca)
Maybe perhaps anything that locals hear in Barcelona that apply to those islands?
Anything helps really even if you perhaps have a friend with a channel that has more specific info regarding those islands.

You can do it all directly at the train station (Pl Espanya). I also have links in the description of the montserrat video (I don’t think I can share the link here)
Hi Patrick, thanks for all the wonderful and informative videos! Hope you could help me! We are going to Spain for the very first time and to Barcelona to be exact, this summer of 2023, but we decided to extend our stay for 3 more days to stay at Sitges. We have a flight out of Barcelona around noon. I'm wondering if you could tell me if AEROBUS or train from Sitges is the best way to get to the airport, and how often they run? Not sure if there are several train stations around Sitges and if there are, could you please tell me which one that goes directly to Barcelona Airport? I'm not sure how long it takes for the bus or train to get to the airport from Sitges. I would like to arrive around 10am at the airport. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance!
Hi Caroline, the aerobus does not run to sitges. I would take the train back to Barcelona and then go to the airport from there.
Do you have any recommendations for a day tour from Barcelona into other countries like France and/or Andorra? We are traveling in a couple weeks and only found 1 company but they are booked up.
I think you’re best bet is 3 countries in one day, not sure if that is what you were referring to
in regards to the beach thing, march and april is still too cold for swimming but last year i went from may 12th til june 3rd and i was on the beach about 5 or 6 times, so in may, yeah totally but not march or april, too cold! lol
April is when people start getting in the water. Maybe sooner if the temperatures are nice

Very Informative Thank You.! I am an older person with diabetes and am on disability due to no feeling in legs ,hands, feet and a half of foot due to 3 surgeries, BUT I walk normal, and look like a normal 60 ish (OK, I Lied late 60's guy) I noticed on the tours like Sagrada Familia, Metro, museums, they have "disabled free or reduced" price. Says documentation needed at your arrival. The question is, will a copy of the govn. Disability statement (USA) from 12 years ago, current parking placard, and a letter from my doctor, be enough. I plan to spend 3 days pre cruise mid May.Things I want to do: I saw a sidecar motorcycle tour 3.5 hrs, looked super cool compared to the on off Tour buses. Then the next day Mt Tibidado (sp?) to go on some "easy rides" with views and the church there. and the 3rd Day, Montserrat via metro train and aerial cable car. What do you think of my schedule and the disability question. ? Richard H.
Thank you! As far as the certificates for disabilities go, I am not too sure. I would think the document you have would be sufficient, but I cannot say exactly. I think all of you're plans sound good, looks like you will still have plenty of time to do other things as well!
My question is, why haven’t you mentioned Barcelona & Madrid’s clay court tennis tournament, with the top tennis players on tour?
I’ve mentioned the tournaments in the monthly videos when they happen!
