The hard top is really a huge and heavy piece that you will need something to hoist it up and out; my aunt was about to get that kit for her MB but she had moved on to newer MBs. The last bit even though the audio was missing, showed how fantastic a driving experience could be, in the ultimate automobile. What a car!

The trunk is made out of aluminum so that is not what you want to slam to show how solid the car is. Being made out of aluminum it is very lightweight, hence the SL (sport light) and doesn't shut with typical vault like Mercedes feel.Shut the doors to show how solid the car is, the trunk being aluminum is paper light

Actually, the SL stands for "Sehr Leicht" in German. That means "Very Light". The early SLs in the 50's and 60's were built with much/mostly alluminium, and actually very light for the race track. By the 70's, there cars were built very heavy, but the SL designation remained !

Hey Yahya. Are you are interested in this model? I have an '89 560SL with only 48k miles on it. White paint with tan interior. The whole vehicle is in pristine condition. Just this past week I performed a 2 stage paint correction followed up with a 3-5 year ceramic coating. I will be posting a video on it soon, but please let me know if you are interested as it WILL sell fast since there are no issues with the vehicle. Asking for $48k just like the mileage!

Probably the worst SL should be the title! Who the hell paints a stripe down an SL the us bumpers horrible the us front light horrible, the wheels are horrendous just needs pimp number plates. And in my humble opinion black is probably the worst colour the SL came in, rant over
