The problem with a lot of people from university or educational institutions is a lot of knowledge but lack of wisdom. There is a degree of arrogance and brainwashing that really needs to be routed out. I don’t think they self reflect as much as they should. I’m not immune either so I’m just giving my 2 cents.
Those who don't want to speak about the Akhira might just be scared about it, knowing that they have not yet become ready to meet with God and being held accountable for everything they've done. Thinking that anyone who is Muslim has to be ready or willing to discuss that is very weird, not everyone can speak about it. That doesn't mean they have a sickness in their heart, it might just mean that they fear God.
Excellent, but I would suggest that such a person should be given a different type of dawah, which is to remind them of the hope in Allah's mercy and to correctly balance that with fear of Allah. Good point though brother, I agree with your perspective
Secular societies train us from young age: keep your faith to yourself and convined to home and mosque... this is wrong of course. But muslims living iny west have to deal with this influence... but if you do even just the 5 pilars of islam.. the topic of religion is gonna come up sooner or later. Islam is impossible to hide

The sufyani is a term only used in shia eschatology the lineage of abu sufyan as they dont believe he nor the ummayads converted for religious reasons but rather political expediency. However in our religon of ahlul sunnah i have never heard of this sufyani term in the end times i googled it and many scholars say these hadiths to be fabricated and taken from shia influence.
This description of Sufyan sounds more Ataturk. Because in his time he abolished the Khilafah and people did hajj without a Khalif. Ataturk also closed the zawiyas where people were essentially doing zikr “Allah, Allah”.

I´m from Sweden. Thank you for a great channel. I study Islam and follow the developments closely. I´m also a kufr because I don´t beleive in God as in any Abrahamic way. I also think some aspects of Islam is needed in the west. There are soo many muslims here in Sweden that enjois the secular society with all the freedom of booth speach and religion. Some have not adapted very well and have a hard time accepting our culture and laws. This is a problem. For example the sharia is very different from our laws. In the masjid teh imams and teachers are trying to teach out true Islam but the consecvense is that it makes muslims troubled because the society is based on any religion and soo many things is the opposite of what they are being told in the masjid. And beleive me all swedish muslim wants too be good muslims. The support for Gaza here is strong but it has also made a swedish non muslims hesitantog Islam because the Hamas is considered a terrorist organisation here. But no muslims have publicily critized them. I understand this because it´s dangerous for them or they can be pushed out of their community. Now to the point. I see so many muslim scholars and doctors and sheikhs talking in podcasts about the ummah about dahwa etc. Also about the J-word wich is hard too to say loud. All of them wants Islam to prosper but as an outstander watching in it´s very confusing and it´s very hard to make sense of it all. My muslim friends gets confused and are starting to doubt Islam because of this. The scholars teh speak have ways the be honest and truthful descreibing Islam and the current status of the ummah. But I´m sorry too say many other muslims can not speak the whole truth regarding the elephant in the room. Wich is the problems in Islam itself. This whole episaode you have blamed the assad regime and I agree for the most part. But there are many muslims out there and armenians and chritianms and jews that dont agree with you at all. Tou dont speak about the sunni and the shia muslim conflict or teh wahabis or salafis or even the takfir groups. And you dont speak about anything that is considerd to be moderate islam and the benefit of that. Espacially important for the confused european muslims. I think you need to be totally trutfull about this even if it is considered kufr or haram for many muslims. People are educated and intelligent and see when the explanation of the conflicts are described one sided or even not truthfull. You need to accept (i think) that Islam reformation is necesarry if you want Islam to spread. And you need to critizese elements of some Islam groups that are sunnis as well. You only critize the muslim countries that are trying to create a better society for everyone living there. You say they are westernized and that they have adapted western culture and soo on. Mayby it is time to realize that some things we have here in the west are actually good and beneficial for Islam and the ummah. Some things are not of course. I hope that you get peace and freedom for all people in the middle east and that you will accept that Al-Quds is for every muslim, jew and christian equally. Israel is never going to leave and the cause for Al-Sham bt the palestinians is only causing suffering. You need top blaming other countries and "islamophopia" and zionists for every problem you have. The US has caused so much soffering for soo many muslims but times changes and even though they are supporting Isarel they are not against Islam. If you continue to hate the west you will get no where thank you! As-salamu alaykum.
I saw your comment, and I tapped "Read more"... BOOM! Oh my god, my eyes 😅... but I read it all🙋🏻♂, and I agree with you. Al-Ghazali said "I saw Islam in the West with no Muslims, and I saw Muslims here with no Islam." We must be honest with ourselves: we are missing the soul of Islam... morals, helping each other, charity, caring for animals, respecting the elderly, obeying parents, morals, morals, morals.... Of course, Western rulings are far from Sharia, and there is plenty to criticize rationally. But your point is accurate: it's not smart to complicate things that are inherently simple. As for your other point about political views: I, too, disagree with many political interpretations, even though I’m an Algerian and also Maliki Ashari like Dr. Shadee. Particularly, I find it problematic when people try to connect political issues to Islamic teachings with weak arguments. Politics is politics, and I stand with Gaza because it’s a human issue... not just an Islamic or political matter. In non-Islamic countries, it is unwise to approach this matter purely from an Islamic perspective when it is fundamentally a humanitarian catastrophe. It is a genocide. Since you are in the West, it is better to approach this issue through their human lens... because, after all, they are human beings too. Wishing you all the best, brother.
