Excellent oratory! One of the most powerful sermons I've ever heard on our history. God bless the speaker!

Gloria White-Cooper and wicked people have the nerve to say Ellen white was a racist.

what would have been fair if Obama had Black's that had family members born in 1700/1800/ 1924/1933/ to receive homeowner ship as either first time buyers or previous or current single family residents business etc to owners to receive a lower tax credit on property plus!on purchases sense we had never received the 40 acres and a mule. Even today it is terribly sad for some of us blacks who wished that we could have the so called American dream like owning our own estates I feel I have been a victim of this as a long time renter plus it is sad even other formal president never consider what their fore fathers had done! Thank you for allowing me to share

+Teresa Brown I understand your pain African Americans should have been legally allow to be apart of the Homestead Act especially after slavery in 1865 but the saying that America owns it's slave descendants and a mule was never once proposed in Congress.

Let's be like Abraham, pilgrims in this world looking awaiting and looking for that city who's builder and ruler is GOD.

Truth for Jeaus it’s NEVER to late, to right, a wrong!!!
The benefits of slavery continues to advance others to amass wealth & pass down inheritances that are the fruits of injustice!

JesseWorld1000 it should have been proposed and it’s not too late! Not to throw shade but do you REALLY understand the pain African Americans have had to endure from the legacy of slavery and racism perpetrated by White Americans? Reparations have been granted to Japanese Americans, Native Americans and Jewish Americans. No such attempts have been made to Black Americans! White people must see their historical legacy of the profit of slavery without blaming the historical victims of slavery!

The African American SDA church as well as African American churches of other Christian denominations failed our people by failing to teach us that most of the biblical characters, especially those in the Old Testament, were black and furthermore that the original Hebrew was black. It is important to realize that Hebrew refers to a faith and not a race. In Christian context, Hebrew is often used to refer to a race of people. At any rate, it should be stressed that there was no difference in the phenotypes of the Hamites and the Shemites. And furthermore that Jesus, Joseph, Mary, Moses, the Magi and other biblical characters were black in appearance. This would have done wonders to boost the morale of us as a people. However, our institutions chose to teach the same principles of Christianity taught to us by the slavemaster. We willfully and wholeheartedly belt out Amazing Grace, the popular hymnal written by a Caucasian in the slave trade while waiting on the banks of a river where a slave ship was docked. We must learn to teach the beautiful truth about the Word. I love the Lord and was reared in a SDA church. The unadulterated truth should be taught.

Well like most denominations in the West, the SDA was founded by racist whites and continued to treat blacks as second and third class members until quite recently.
      No surprise there.
