@Sean G Interestingly whilst Welsh, Irish and Scottish folk culture seems to be stuck 400 years ago, English folk culture seems to keep evolving, making huge changes in the 19th century. English folk culture is all about bravado and fun whilst the rest of the UK seem mostly concerned with whimsy, loss and perceived injustice. I am Welsh, Irish, English and traveler in the last couple of generations and live in rural Wales.
Why can't we have St George's Day as a bank holiday? I'd love to see morris dancing everywhere....it's part of our heritage.
I love your profile picture.
Great to see
Grand as owt, right gradely. We must support our traditions and encourage others to understand and join in.
