As someone that owned a 83' back in the day, and is driving a Mazda of that same Soul Red 46v today, perfect. I bought an 83 when I could have bought an 84, but I hated the 84 digital dials, give me analog any day.

She’s beautiful! The FD is such a timeless design. I wish I had one! Did you have to do much to the engine? Always been curious about the real reliability of the car since you always hear stories of the seals going and things.
Engine is mostly stock, it’s tuned with the boost turned up on a power FC. 99 turbos and intake. It makes about 400hp. I’m going to build it this winter. It’s actually been extremely reliable, you just need to take care of them

Don’t go to school for it, it’s a waste of time and money. Just start at the bottom in a bodyshop and work your way up! That’s what I did and now I own a shop

Yea it’s 46v. I wanted it a little lighter so we used a grey sealer to lighten it up a little bit

how did you sand it down? do you go from 80 grit to 1000 grit or how?
EnzedDev well we blocked it with 180 first. To get it straight and to also remove excess material at the same time. Then we did the needed bodywork. Then we primed it then blocked it in 220. After that we blocked it in 400, then finished it off in 600.
