So I watched this before buying the game to see what the mechanics were like, and I noticed the putting tip at 11:33 is wrong about elevation impacting break. It says the ball breaks more uphill and less downhill, but it's actually the other way around. Just bought the game and I noticed they fixed it. Had to come back to this video to verify and sure enough it's been changed. Had me questioning my sanity for a moment there lol

Yes, the Xbox version of 2K23 feels a lot better than Xbox 2K21! They have added a graphics setting to consoles where you can choose to optimize Performance vs Quality, and that helps it even more!
One of my issues as a first time player to this game? I'd never use a chip shot, unless I was just off the fringe with a 10 ft putt. Otherwise, the shot in this example {28Y} would be: Pitch or flop. Who would use a chip shot out of heavy right?
I'm not a fan of ball flight trajectory. I like to keep golf like it is in real life as much as possible. Trajectory is okay on t.v. but not in my video game.
I did the tutorial for 2K21 like a week ago. It's almost exactly the same, down the announcers comments. Not sure why someone would pay full price for a few UI changes. That announcer is boring, and almost acts as if he is bored of the game as well.
Yes this is possible! Make sure to go to Training in the main menu, (the driving range), and you can go to each tutorial through the pause menu once you reach there.
Most likely licensing. Different courses, accessible to play as other professional golfers (including tiger), different company brands, and a new my career mode

game is looking good. what do you think about EA dropping a new golf game Q1 of next year? 2k will finally have a competitor and EA hasn't had a game since the Rory cover game I think. I want a golf game this year for sure may wait too see more of what the other game has to offer before making a decision.
Competition is always a good thing, but I have a personal opinion that EA’s might flop. The only thing they are working with is the fact they have Augusta, but nothing else. A 1+ year delay could show that something may have happened there. 👀 I just want EA to worry about skate, can’t wait for that! 🤣
They screwed up so many things. playing with a friend connection. instead you give a name to your room the make a random code. (STUPID). if you get kicked out of a game you can't resume like before. Every time they touch this game they make it worse. Brainless programmers.

I wish I could still play TW 08 -- that was the very best of the series. This new one has a tall hill to climb to best that one.

How do you zoom in to see where your shot will land? Nothing about it in the tutorial, I hold L2 and it just lifts the camera instead of zooming in?
Make sure to press Y on Xbox controller (or Triangle on PS controller) to zoom in!
