No Brian, if you happen to watch the comments. Taking the staples out won’t hurt as much as you think. After the arterial bypass surgery I had in October, I had 75 staples in my leg and it didn’t take but a few minutes to take out
Hey Mike maybe the procedure changed. I had 32 staples in my stomach after my bowel resection and it was so painful when they removed them. It may not feel as bad having them removed from my leg.
The bandage came off but it happened on a Saturday so the office was closed and today is a holiday so they’re also not in office. My follow up is in two days. I have a nurse friend that told me what to buy to bandage it until i can see the surgeon
When you said it came off, I'd became concerned. As far as taking showers, I do believe that's a conversation you need to have with your surgeon about that. A week after my surgery I was given the green light to getting in the shower B Perhaps every State's different in this type of surgical procedure. With that being said, are you in Physical Therapy, it's crucial that you exercise that right leg
