Thank you so much! I'm glad you found me and hope you spend a half hour whenever possible and watch a few videos. I cherry picked just a mere fraction of the material I have captured. Otherwise, it would have been a 2-hour documentary, and still that would be cherry picked. Please stay with me and if you can, tune in Sunday at 8 PST or my next livestream. Just an hour.

Not ready to retire from acting pursuits and dreams, Darrell. I'd have to live in Nashville.

Lots of actors live in remote places and then just travel to the big city when they need to. I may have mentioned the well kept secret here in Tennessee ... Putnam County, where real estate prices are very reasonable, people are friendly, the climate is awesome for gardening, cost of living among the best in the nation, you have several friends here, AND it's only a scenic one hour drive to get to Nashopolis. Just sayin'. (oh yeah and nobody HAS to live in Nashville)🌻

Yeah, Darrell, like Jeff Daniels in Michigan who's been famous for 40 years. His agents know where to find him. Like right now, starring on Broadway. 🙃

I love watching your journey. I recently found your channel and totally relate to your adventures as a late bloomer. I did not start gardening vegetables until 2013 at the age of 51. We had an exchange student for Slovakia come to live with us. She was so perplexed by how Americans had large yards full of “perfect American grass” but rarely did she see people growing food in these suburban yards. Her comment sent me on a journey to pull out a section of flowering bushes and replace it with a small garden bed. Shortly after that we sold our suburban home. Moved to a rural community- and even though we live in town (pop. 600) we have a lot more freedom to expand. I planted plum trees, almond trees, blackberry bushes the first year we lived here (2015). Since then have added blueberries, raspberries, elderberries, quince, currants and strawberries. 10 raised beds, 4 in ground beds and a chicken coop. We have also taken on with helping with the local 4-H club’s community garden. I find it all so rewarding from to starting little seedlings to canning and preserving the harvest and of course sharing with others. Thank you for sharing your journey!

That is so wonderful! And it sounds like you've got a great partner, something everyone who has a big vision needs. Where are you living? I'd love to visit your garden this summer if possible. I need to bring your story to my viewers! I did say all last fall I had to stop traveling till more money was coming in from my channel, but if you are anywhere near where I need to be between now and end of August (I'll be in TN), please let me know!

Kaye's garden is a wonder. I am a subscriber and have followed the growth of her skills and the amazing variety of what she produces. When she goes "on the road" and visits other gardeners I love the immediate camaraderie and learn loads about other lands. Kaye has such a winning smile and pleasant informative manner that when I watch her I feel a sense of peace, joy and well being. It's like we're friends! It would be great if a cable channel would pick this show up so she would have more resources at her disposal. Who knows where she would go next!

Hello, it's Deb here. I found you a couple years ago and then I don't know what happened with you too but I lost most of my channels I was subscribed to and could not remember most of their names. Yours was one of them. I am so glad did I caught this video today. This is my dream that you are living. Land amazing place you have built and you seem to have such passion for it. I'm the same way. I enjoy being outside more than I do inside. At least in the summer that is lol. I don't do the cold very well at all. After five surgeries between my neck and my back, and plenty of hardware made of titanium holding it together. It hasn't been the best this last year. I am so hoping for more videos from you it, it gives me something to do to pass my time being confined to a bed until my next 2 back and neck surgeries before summer gets here. I have so much to learn, and learned so much watching your older videos. I'm fixing to go back and watch season 1 again and go all the way through them. Almost all of the channels that I am subscribed to our gardening and homesteading. I'm so wanting to put in a couple of raised beds that would be high enough to wheel my Hoveround chair underneath to do a little bit of gardening this year. I know it will help with me getting out in the sun Which I know promotes healing. I've had so little son the past 8 months that my strength has been compromised for the time being. I'm just asking everybody to pray for me if they would. We serve a mighty God. When I are you talking about giving away a lot of your food, it reminds me of my grandmother. Not that you're my grandmother's age or anything lol but the kindness that she had. My grandmother had three Gardens one was for fresh vegetables during the summer the second one was for canning and preserving for the winter and the third one was for anybody that was hungry, and when there was still more left over She gave it to the food banks. That's the kind of person I want to be. That's the person I know that lives deep inside of me, and I can't wait to be free. it amazes me how every square inch have your garden is dedicated to something. and never leaving the ground bear by use of the wood chips, which is something that can be done pretty much all over the world where you can actually grow plants at. when I think if more people did it I was required to do it, the atmosphere could be totally changed overnight. and it just takes one more person. and if that's the only person I reach, then I've made it and I've accomplished what I set out to do which was change one person's mind about gardening. and how they can turn their yard into a food Forest. that is if you don't have an HOA. my dream is to move out into the country where there are no HOAs and you grow an amazing Food Forest. I know it makes a difference because right now I live on what used to be a baron piece of property, that It was even too dry for the stickers to grow. I live in a mobile home park Where people don't respect other people's yards. When I moved in here the neighbor said they've lived here for 30 years and this yard had always been a baron piece of property with a mobile home sitting on it. No grass except for wheat, that would work its way up through the matted down yard that was a good 6 in deep and dried up thatch. there was 9 hypodermic needles and probably if there was 10000 cigarette butts there had to have been at least 100000 That were all over my yard. Thank God I moved in in October and did not go out into the yard until spring. I raked so much that I literally raked it down to Clay. having been a wheat field for probably a century the for it what is sold And a mobile home park was put here. It's a nice beautiful mobile home park if it wasn't for all the Games and violence that happens over here. You definitely don't want to be out after Dark. At least I don't want to. with me being 54 years old, and my very brittle bones, due to the osteoporosis which I was just diagnosed with Two weeks ago. That explains my bones being like they are. I don't bounce off the ground like I used to LOL. one of the things around my neck of the woods when it comes to gardening and our tomatoes, is cracking an egg in the hole. It's that or a dead fish underage tomato plant. it works believe me. I'm an avid fisherwoman, but being my health condition right now I can't get out and fish. fish emulsion is my best friend. It stinks like the Dickens but it works. I done experiments a few years ago and as well as this last year with tomato plants Which is my favorite vegetable to grow. That is next to long neck squash and luffa gourds which I don't eat I use them to make my homemade soaps. this is my first year actually growing the luffa gourds on my property, Which I vowed to do correctly this year. When I was drying them in the past, I didn't have adequate airflow around them and the temperature was not warm enough for them to be able to dry. I had heard of people hanging them in their barns during the winter but to me I would think that the liquids wood And about as big around as a 1 pint jelly jar. Maybe a little bit bigger. Just perfect for my soaps. well I think I pretty much written a book here LOL I tend to do that when I find interesting things on RUclips that people are doing. And your channel definitely, I I'm glad I found you again thanks again take care and God bless Deb

It's amazing how a space can make such a huge transformation. I'm slowly transforming the space I have as well. We moved into our house Dec. 2016. I was determined to have a garden that summer, so we set up 9 raised beds. The next year, I wanted to grow more tomatos so I grew in 5 gal buckets. I had around 16 last year. This year I went all out. I bought cloth pots. 15 gal & 7 gal sizes. I ended up having to use the 5 gal buckets too. The grand total : 31 tomato plants in my driveway! I guess I'll be know as the tomato lady 🍅🙂 -Kayla

I loved this video and seeing the transformation of your garden over the years. It's true...a garden is never perfect and never finished! Yours is always beautiful and the photos are too. You've inspired me to try things such as comfrey and borage in my garden this year which by the way is going gangbusters!! My husband and I are retired and in our 60's and I think the garden has become such good exercise at keeping us busy and active. Ours has transformed and expanded many times over the years too. Well, I didn't realize that. I've been waiting till they were orange, thank you! Jacq in Phoenix was the one who recommended me getting one but she wanted me to get the variegated one. This is the only kind my nursery had and I was impatient. It's only put out a handful, and I never happen to be cooking when I have one. I do want to buy land, and will when I sell this house. I don't have any money until then. So, unfortunately, I lose this garden, but perhaps will have an even better garden in future. 🙏

I stopped using her services in 2017. I have yet to make a dime on it, total lifetime revenue is $169.
