  • Easily one of my absolute favorite bags of coffee I've ever bought. I love the region in general, but the beans were certainly treated very well!

I had a similar experience when i tried a washed ethiopian coffee from Uraga made by Red Rooster coffee. At this point I hadn’t tried many lighter roasted coffees and the ones I had tried I found to be overly acidic, but this coffee was what really changed my perspective and made me actually appreciate lighter roasts for showing more characteristics intrinsic to the coffee. This was the only coffee i’ve ever had that made me genuinely sad to reach the end of the bag.

That Sounds awesome! I've never had anything from Red Rooster before. Where are they based out of?

@@petersamuels-coffee6735 I think they’re in West Virginia. They have a lot of other cool stuff like syrups for espresso drinks or cocktails and specialty teas as well. Highly recommend them. They’re also fantastic if you like dark roasts that aren’t ~too~ dark to the point where they’re overly bitter but very chocolatey and smooth

@H C I’ve never tried that one from them actually but if it’s anything like their other blends i’m sure it’s fantastic

I did buy this coffee after watching your video. I love Ethiopian fruity& floral coffee, but for some reason I would give this coffee 3 out of 5. It is a little bit smokier than all the light roast coffee that I had. There is a hot air coffee roaster near where I live and they do have the same coffee at $12 per pound. If you really like fruity, and floral coffee, I think you should try Salma Bermudez by Manhattan coffee roaster. I think this roaster is somewhere in EU, and I got this coffee from a local coffee shop who is working with different roasters around the world. This Colombian coffee is the best I have had in 2022 and beginning of this year. The tasting notes are mango lassi, dulce leche, elderflower. Both me and my partner the peach flavor coming on top. This really is amazing coffee
