I live in Minneapolis. Im only a couple mins in and it feels SO relevant. I live right by North Central so hearing about Dr. Tennison background feels like it hits home - especially being that I have been attending an AG church here since graduating college. This is such a timely, powerful word!
Dr. Tennison was one of my professors and academic advisor at NCU. No one inspires a hunger in me for God’s Word and theology like him. Have so much respect for him!
Incredible episode . I love this conversation and think it’s so necessary for the church today. Do not quench the Spirit AND test every spirit to see if it be of God, that’s what the word says 🤷🏾♂️
This is so good. Two geniuses in their own regards. One a spiritual genius and the other theological both in the field of Christ. Dr. Allen Tennison is one of the best I have ever been blessed to listen to, he understands and has mastered theological concepts so well that he can explain these things simply. That is a rare gift, like a musician being able to make someone weep or feel without all the bells or gimmicks. I can see how he inspired my pastor and I feel when he’s asked the right questions, like the Holy Bible, his answers are an absolute abundance of treasures.
I'm confused. I live in a place where everyone speaks English. I got saved and tell people about Jesus in English. Am I supposed to be speaking a different language? How would they understand me if I did? Please explain.

No need to speak a different language! Not a requirement given in the New Testament.
