- Muladhara, the first chakra, is called the root and basis of existence. Mula means root and adhara, the basis.
Patanjali says in Sutra 2-13 of the Yogasutra:
“So long as the roots (or sanskaras) exist, their fruition will be birth, life and experience resulting in pleasure or pain.”
From this it is evident that the word mula refers to the collection of past subliminal impressions which are the roots of future karma. Thus, we can say that all the master files of karma lie in the muladhara chakra.
The muladhara is situated in the perineum, at the root of the reproductive organs, above the anus and at the base of the spinal column. It is in the shape of a red triangle, the shape of the pubis, and has fourpetals

She's definitely done her research. I rmr a time when I focused on root that I smell the toilet so strongly whenever I go in there hahah. I needed my root balanced again. Toilet smells, but the feeling of root being balance is beyond great.
By the way there's 2 sams that are different sounds right? How do we know how to pronounce it? I'm no Indian to be able to distinguish the sounds of Hindi. Hope u could u make a vid so we foreigners can chant the mantra correctly with breathing techniques etc.

I have already created a playlist . Just check the playlist for chakra . In future videos we will be bringing about various mudras , and shloka/mantra for the same .
@@SadhguruTheglobalmystic Yes I have seen that, I meant the remaining manipura and Sahasrara.
Mudras, for ex. Sadhguru in one video says ring finger is absolute water finger but also he says it is the third eye chakra for which the element is light.
It would be great if you can clarify these type of finger specific chakras and elements, thanks!

Very complete, but impossible to digest at once. Even the Mystikal Kabbalah can’t compete with this. Great effort.
There are so many books and you tube content on root chakra and all seven Chakras ..must see
@@johnsmits2494 The Kabbalah surpasses the Kundalini, but the jews refused to dip into Qliphoth, and they restricted themselves to Sephiroth work instead. Sahasrara is Da'ath.
