I can't get over the lines "But you will suffer.." "Pain's an old friend" he has this way of pouring raw emotion into the smallest lines and they enrich the movie, the character, the FEELING you get. I watched this movie with my dad and we couldn't stop talking about that line afterwards. Love it.

Two things made Dr. Strange more original than a lot of other Marvel movies:
1) The conflict with the big baddie at the end was resolved with a conversation, not a physical fight. The villain was outsmarted.
2) Dr. Strange's real special power was his incredible capacity for rigorous study. His background completing the 11-16 years of high level study required to become a surgeon was shown to be directly responsible for his superhero success.

The Magic of Doctor Strange is said to be made up of energies from different dimensions. The way I imagine it is that their magic is based on the laws of physics of that world, but they look like magic because that world is Non-Euclidean. That would explain the geometric theme of the spells, as well as the Mirror Realm.

3:02 You have NO idea! I went with my friends and we saw the only showtime available with the only seats left so we saw it in seats that were super close to the screen, off to the left and in 3D! It was extremely overwhelming. That "mind's eye" scene was such a sensory overload that it took me several months to recover from. I couldn't watch anything too busy for more than half a year otherwise I would get dizzy.

Oh wow, I was thinking of recommending _Planet of the Apes_ to y'all. If you'd like to, I'd recommend the Caesar reboot trilogy, and in order, _Rise of the Planet of the Apes,_ _Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,_ and _War for the Planet of the Apes._ It's possibly my #1 trilogy of the 2010s. Great effects, amazing storytelling, stellar characters, especially Caesar.

I just got sad that they saw this movie with all the crazy perspectives and twisting of reality without having watched Inception which was so amazing and a first for that shiz.
Might be my favorite movie of all time if someone asked with a knife to my throat.

I love that scene where the Ancient One introduces Strange to their powers by sending him through an LSD-style "trip", it was almost as if this movie was trippin' balls for a moment. I'll bet producer Kevin Feige and the writers dropped some acid when writing this script. *;) XD*

They can't have many full reaction patreons then, at $66 a month with over 20 patreons. That's only about 4 or 5 people at most.
If it was $5 I might consider it, but $10 is way too much for me, and since it used to be free it makes it seem like it's double the price already. It's unfortunate, since Doctor Strange was probably the movie I looked forward to the most, and cutting all of it down to 10 minutes just won't work for me. Anyway, I guess there's nothing to do about that, they gotta make money somehow...

Maybe, but $10/month is a lot of money for possibly only one full reaction considering there isn't much other stuff on their Patreon yet. For me that probably just means waiting till the year is over, subbing for 1 month to catch up and unsubbing again. Sesskasays is doing full movie reactions to 1 movie/month for $1 Patrons, that's a lot more reasonable IMO and I've been subbed there from the beginning. Usually the trick is to start low, get more Patrons, use the money to add more content to offer an incentive for even more people to sub and add more content for the higher tiers at the same time so lower tier Patrons might upgrade.

Technically he did but Strange already set up the loop to repeat every time he died, so stone would be restored too.

Have you considered classic monster/horror movies? Like the Universal Monsters: Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Creature From the Black Lagoon or King Kong (1933)? You doing them would could potentially introduce them to people who might not ordinarily watch them.

You still need to react to "The Incredible Hulk" from 2008. It is still considered Cannon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You should really watch it. It's not the greatest hulk movie. But it's definitely one of the better ones to have ever been made. It's still a good movie.
at this point there is no point in watching that movie. the consultant one shot is good enough, which includes the scene with tony stark and colonel ross and mentions both abomination and banner. plus after seeing ruffalo and getting attached to who actually is the hulk, its hard to route for the old guy and get on board, unless its terrence howard in iron man lol. hopefully someone makes a fan edit one day editing out norton with ruffalo somehow :P

The Troll Killer storm mentioned several times during phase 1 that they probably wouldn't be watching the incredible hulk because of how out of place it is and because it's frustrating watching a lead character get changed. the only reason they should ever watch that movie is if somehow for some reason they bring back the abomination and the dr that got infected, but I seriously doubt that they will since there most likely will be no next solo hulk movie since the rights are tied up with universal. interesting fact>marvel wanted ruffalo to be the hulk in the solo movie but universal wanted norton. marvels known whats good since day 1
