Before working on some projects on "special high-quality paper or media," I was taught to have a rough draft on cheap paper first. Am I wasting time doing it that way?
I'm not Jim but as a fellow artist I would say no it's not a waste of time just make sure you only do warm-ups, studies or throw away art on those types of media. Save the good paper for your masterpieces.
Can you tell the staff to actually bring Post Crisis continuity back? Remember how John's made the JSA Great again by just using the established lore, making it sense from a historical viewpoint and being creative like using the old stuff and building up from there with something fresh and new + new characters/villains?

Superman 👶🏻🚀holding a hamburger 🍔, Cosmo the Spacedog 👨🚀 🐕, that Jew alien 👽 from that godawful Star ⭐️ Wars film 🍿, and I don’t even know what that cyborg mermen supposed to be. Can somebody help me?

Jim, you like other rich people don't have a clue about the need for money or the impact it has on peoples decisions. Do what you love, and enjoy life sounds great when what you love makes you money. Unfortunately most people have to do what they can so that they can have the necessities of life. Because if they don't there are real consequences, like hunger, losing your kids, losing your house, etc.. Your advise is great for families that can afford it, but for those that cant your advise sounds entitled, arrogant, and disconnected to the real world. Not everyone has the money to attend Harvard and drop out to pursue art. Somewhere there is a talented artist running the fryer at McDonald's so he can live bare minimum. Who is as deserving or more to lead your kind of life. They don't run the fryer because they like it, but because they have responsibilities, and recognize the consequences of not bringing home a pay check. Where taking a year or month or week off to do art, is catastrophic to their survival in our society. Your probably thinking, do art in their spare time. That would be an idiotic question, because anyone working the fryer at McDonald's isn't working at McDonald's. Which would also further my point that you are disconnected to the real world.
