Kylo Ren and Rey couldn’t pull down a Star Destroyer the way Starkiller did. This is one reason we feel Starkiller was one of the strongest Sith’s and more power than Kylo and Rey.

And the "no source material" comment was just dumb, they dont need to adapt other stories, but they sure as hell have 6 movies, a few games and shows to define the "rules and limitations" of the star wars universe, which they didnt even bother with.
And they did use expanded lore for story references, the emperors survival and lightning on the ships are pretty much direct ripoffs of the somewhat horrible 'Dark Empire' story

Bro, I finally did it! Honestly though, it was by pure fluke. Once he says pull it down, take it as far down as poss, then start throwing the engine things quickly and grabbing the fighters with the force and throw them. It takes a lot of luck but you’ll do it. MTFBWY!

Imagine how terrified the crew aboard the Star Destroyer must've been that their EXPERTLY ENGINEERED STARCRUISER is being PULLED INTO THE ATMOSPHERE and they are UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT except send TIE fighters after the guy, only for whole flight teams to be OBLITERATED in mere SECONDS.
This is why Galen "Starkiller" Marek is the best force sensitive to grace the Star Wars universe in my opinion.

Ah, I remember everyone freaking out over this feat and made Starkiller OP with the rest of the Star Wars Universe. Then ol Palpy comes along in Rise of Skywalker and raises hundreds of Stars Destroyers from the ground without breaking a sweat.
I thought he just raised a lever that then made all those Star Destroyers levitate (from their engines) cause there is no way in hell Palpatine is that godlike...
Granted I do see him lifting one maybe 2 Star Destroyers like that, but a whole fleet????? HELL NO..

Both of those are nothing compared to what a few ancient Sith Lords were capable of. There was sith who could consume whole planets during the Old Republic Era
Pancakes Honestly not really... Force Storm is more impressive than Force Drain... Nihilus would not win in a 1v1 against Sidious imo, considering he’s never shown any feats of beating powerful Force Sensitives by just draining. Lifting up Star Destroyers is still a better feat of raw power than draining an entire planet filled with little to no powerful Force Sensitives.

Actually Force Unleashed 3 got canceled during the acquisition for Star wars by Disney and so was Star Wars Battlefront 3 (The og Star wars Battlefront 3 trailer is still on RUclips and it puts me to tears of what could have been)

Many people see this as the most powerful demonstration of the Force, but this is pretty much nothing compared to Naga Sadow causing supernovas or Luke Skywalker closing black holes.
Or Sidius causing entire storms with his bare hands
Or darth Vader doing this with 2 star destroyers and with half the effort
Or obi wan kenobi and the high ground

Once I got to pulling the star destroyer down it just wouldnt work no matter how hard I tried and I got constantly interrupted by the tie fighters so I just quit

Yeah, it just doesnt work. You do as said with your mouse and keyboard (wich is annoying enough) but then nothing happens after a certain point.
A ton of people over the years have wondered why we don't really have a problem with Galen Marek despite having a massive problem with Rey. And honestly, it can be summed up quite simply. Our (or at least my) problem with Rey isn't that she's overly powerful, it's that for years her power and mastery of the force went unexplained for years, and it's not like she had any real training if at all for that time frame of mystery. Galen however came from a nothing of a Jedi who (understandably) couldn't stand toe to toe with Vader and if he STOOD that way, he would've been a problem character. Yet, we are shown the time lapse in which Vader trains Starkiller in various aspects of the Sith after sensing his latent potential, and stuff like this becomes a HELL of a lot more believable
bucket fever the difference is the training they went through, Rey trained for what? A couple of month between the last Jedi and rise of skywalker? Galen trained for at least a decade, and he didn’t train with a Jedi nobody, he was trained by darth fucking Vader dude, and according to the developers his training was extreme and Vader was consistently pushing him to go past his limits, he even programmed proxy to KILL Galen during a duel whenever they spared, which means literally every sparing session Galen had his life on the line, no better motivation than NOT getting killed lmao don’t forget that fact that Vader trained him in all forms of lightsaber combat and in techniques from both the dark and light side of the force, Galen’s strength is explained and deserved, Rey’s isn’t, she’s just a Mary Sue

i mean god of war is amazing, devil may cry is amazing, ninja gaiden is amazing. but if you turn them into movies where kratos or such beats everyone while barely breaking a sweat at best it can be 2 star movie
@@erichall090909 Once again, my issue isn't that she's overly powerful, it's that despite her lack of training she had a near instantaneous mastery of the force. The only real issue I had with Rey's power came from the ending of TLJ, where she's lifting heaps and mounds of boulders, something that, despite looking easy, has been known to be a test of one's power in the force. Trust me if I had a hate boner for every overpowered character I've come across, I wouldn't enjoy the majority of the movies, anime, games, and comics I stylisticly prefer. What I hate are poorly written characters, not powerful ones

Mace Windu and Yoda in the original animated Star Wars cartoon were freaking scary as well. Yoda slapping dropships together like they're nothing, and Mace Windu literally using his fists more than his light saber when fighting thousands of SBDs.

Books or games are equaly canons too EU, in fact, Galen was meant to be a game character, also no Galen is not to OP, he is a high tier, yes but what he does is normal for high tiers in EU, he is probably more powerful than Vader but not much, Darth Vader in EU has atomized people with a gesture, literally reduced them to nothing, Emperor Palpatine has effortlessly moved 20 km longship, far larger than star destroyer with complete ease, that is why he is god tier not just high tier in EU, also you are wrong if you think Galen is weaker in the book, in the book could destroy mountain-sized temple with one casual force push, atomize Boba Fett, he destroyed foundations of a structure that reached orbit, atomized large ship, all of those feats are just as good as his game feats

If y'all are wondering how he pulled it down, the star destroyer was already in the planets orbit, meaning gravity would do most of the hard work. Also, if you look at where Galen uses the force, he's gripping the front nose of the star destroyer, not the entire thing

The Imperial Raxius Prime mission is one of the toughest missions in this game, the Darth Maul boss fight and the Star Destroyer sequence are challenging to say the least.
Not only is he ripping down an entire star destroyer, he’s casually chucking TIE fighters into each other in between.
Rather rewatch this than the new star wars movie......sad

Here's what I can imagine Rey vs. Starkiller
Starkiller closed in on the new arrival to try combat one-on-one. Unlike his previous foes he faced, Rey was a formidable opponent and did not wear off easily. No crude jedi she was; she blocked expertly and swung her lightsabre in swift reply. Rey closed in from behind, and Starkiller was knocked heavy blows in front of her as he attempted to block. A boot kicked out. Starkiller could not afford to be caught close to his foe, and rolled aside as the lightsabre crashed down. Agility and the force were his surest defense.
He fought back as well as he was able. His attack proved useless. Whichever way he attacked, he was battered to the ground every time. Even as he faced Rey, he seemed never to gain advantage before the latter moved fast to assault him from behind. Rey seemed inexhaustible; as fast as he struck her, and he could not hope to hold her back.
When he judged he had a little space to manoeuvre he closed in and struck hard at Rey. His powerful opponent blocked every blow. After two or three solid strikes Rey sensed the dark jedi closing behind, and rolled aside as his mighty weapon hammered down. Confounded by the speed of his victim, the dark jedi struck solid stone, striking sparks; the laser blade drove into the ground and became stuck. Rey saw her chance. She moved swiftly behind and rained blows on Starkiller, doubled over and suddenly helpless. Starkiller slashed in her direction but Rey rolled aside, and kept up the assault, until Starkiller straightened once more.
She had stumbled on the weakness in Starkiller's strategy. His weapon required his wits and the force to muster, and once launched to attack she could not simply wind down. As Starkiller leaped through the air to attack, Starkiller dodged aside then turned in, and struck with his lightsabre once again - it required only that she judge the moment not to receive the edge of wild swings. Starkiller panted for breath, and stood wary. But Rey is highly unaffected since she's near invincible. Rey swooped down again, and Starkiller ran to meet her. He knew his only chance was to strike hard with his sword. Even as he did so, she was unfazed. In an instant she drew up as before.
In this he discovered the perfect technique. Here was no demand for subtlety or skill, he faced the mysterious near invincible jedi full on and slashed with his lightsabre. He was blocked: now he could expect Rey to strike with the tip of her weapon, at which Starkiller simply hopped straight up in the air. The otherwise damaging blow connected only with the ground under him, and the dark jedi landed ready to slash with his lightsabre once again. Repeating the move exactly, at the moment he found himself blocked he hopped straight up and resumed the attack. It was undignified but very effective.
In furious sequence three solid chunks of stone came lying at him one after another, but Starkiller was now ready, and effortlessly ran back and forth as each came.
Tired of the assault, Rey stilled her flight, and drew her arms. By some unimaginable force, the upper tier of the rooftop arena cracked, and pillars and columns broke away. With a gesture of her palms Rey forced debris to the floor, where huge blocks of masonry swirled about Starkiller, and threatened to crush him. Neither of them have the advantage in a fight. Starkiller was exhausted and on his knees whilst the latter stood without signs of exhaustion or injuries.
And also his parents were both Jedi knights

Well Mr. PlayGround it’s clearly Galen Marrick who’s the most powerful of the three.
In the game it shows Galen bringing down a star destroyer, but in the novel his feat was more of a directional change of the ships trajectory which is still a huge feat compared to other force users. The only other references of force strength before the mouse corporation axing all of Legends was 03 2D animation Star Was: Clone Wars with Mace Windu combating a separatist battalion on his own and without his lightsaber for a time when his clones were decimated and another was Yoda during the invasion of Coruscant colliding multiple CIS landing craft together prior to Revenge of the Sith, bringing down multiple avalanches on Ilum, and able to feel other force users across nearly the entire galaxy .
Even with Galen being “OP” there are still other individuals that outclass Galen such as Naga Sadow, Darth Nilihus, Revan, Tenebrae, GrandMaster Luke, Talak Hord, and so on.
Rey and Ben have no compassion to Galen at all even when fighting together they’re not a match. Galen had trained in the Dark as a Sith Acolyte all his life and was taught to use the force at 100% all the time, as if his life was always on the line while Rey didn’t have any sort of training while abandoned on Jakku and Ben having some training but also having so much conflict inside himself. He started off in the Light having great promise due to his bloodline, but was swayed to the Dark by Snoke (Palpatine) and having a hard time grasping the ways of the Dark since he was more Light sided from the beginning.
Truly if the mouse corporation has “no more source material” then they need to look deeper into Legends archive for more ideas.
Really wish we could’ve gotten a film of the force unleashed or a third game of it at least. 😕
