I also loved this duology so much, even more than I expected 😍 Read the mist Thief at the end of last month & was just as taken with it ❤ I put the broken kingdom series on my 2025 tbr because of my Ever Seas enjoyment 🎉 so excited for it
Read the first three city of bones, then infernal devices triiology, then back to book 4 to 6 in city of bones, then the dark artificer triology, then the last hour trilogy x
I enjoyed Legendborn so much! The themes of race and racism, heritage and ancestry as well as managing the expectations of multiple different groups of people are all so well done and beautifully portrayed. I love Bree so much and the set of characters is so lovely and divers. Can't wait to read Bloodmarked and then have Book 3 come out!
Just finished the first book in the poppy war series and wow I loved it. It was brutal and sad and doesn’t shy away from the atrocities that war entail but just wow, the world and lore in this book is fantastic one of my favourite books this year 🐉🗡️
I read the Binding 13 series so fast. I was intimidated too as I mainly read fantasy, but this went to fast for me! I read it on Kindle and hid the page count, which helped.
Tomorrow x3 is a GORGEOUS book! It has so much heart and is apparently quite accurate to what video game design is like (my cousin who is a video game designer loved it!)
I just want to say i just finished binging all your videos and you are becoming one of my fav book girlie, i love your videos so much Also about the boys of tommen series, don't get discouraged because of the length , it will be over before you know it 😭❤️
the bone season is one of my favorite series of ALL TIME!!!! heavily underrated and I think you would like better than priory. The cliffhanger on the last book is the absolute craziest cliffhanger I've ever experienced like truly have no idea where we're going in the fifth book (in the best way)
I posit that Binding 13 might be a record setting read for you. As in, pages per hour. You’ll FLY through it once you get into it, and being a fast reader already - you’re gonna blaze through it!
The Kiss of Deception was one of my favorite series this year and Fireborne was a top 3 series from last year. Just recently finished the Blood and Steel series and The Ever King books and both were really enjoyable. Fell in love with a lot of the side characters!
First of all, never complain for making a long video, we love the yapping about books. Also, I would read Priory of the Orange Tree (4 stars for me) and its prequel Day of Fallen Night (5 stars for me). I read these 2022 and 2023 and still think about the characters. So interested to see your thoughts on Butcher and Blackbird and Atlas Six!
Loved ever king! Highly recommend listening to the pirates of Caribbean soundtrack while reading lol. Really sets the mood. I really enjoyed worthy of Fate.
This Woven Kingdom Book 4 is supposed to come out In September next year, I will be reading the 3 books before that I’ve been dying to get to them since you rave about them all the time! Very excited for Onyx Storm, Say You’ll Remember Me, Encantra, and Fearless. And books 4 and 5 for Lightlark come out next year too, Burn Of The Everflame which I need to read those before book 4 comes out, and Quicksilver 2 next fall. So many exciting releases!
I love Cassandra Clare’s books, you can read them in the order they were released, that’s probably the “safest” way. ☺️ Great video, just discovered your channel
Hi Emmy! Please read the dark verse series by runyx in a reading vlog. Its perfect since you've mentioned you wanted to read dark romance. And i really want to hear your thoights on it, as it is my favorite series of all time ❤
Read Slaying the Shadow Prince 3rd! There is a cliffhanger at the end of Vows & Ruins and Slaying the Shadow Prince is a prequel that explains the cliff hanger!
I LOOOOVE Legendborn and I'm pretty sure you're going to love it too! We have very similar tastes. I'm super excited for book 3!! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. Sword of Kaigan is excellent. It is a stand alone. High fantasy, less romance. So good. Binding/Keeping 13 was so good, but yes, heavy. Well done. Highly recommend these as audiobooks!! Lots of good books here, Emmy! Hope you have a Happy Christmas!🎄🥂
You will LOVE LJ Andrews but highly recommend reading broken kingdoms before ever king as its about their older generation as far as i understand (im on book 4 of broken kingdoms and it is ace
I read A Day of Fallen Night 1st it a prequel to Priory of the Orange Tree in enjoyed it. Priory is still on my shelf unread. I believe Bone Season is set further into the future.
you should check out the brown sisters trilogy by talia hibbert!! a trilogy of standalone romance novels that follow each sister following in love, and the last one has two autistic people falling in love🩷
My recommendation is Frost by CN Crawford. I thought it was similar to Cruel Prince but more adult. No smut though! It’s like The Bachelor with fae! It was a fun read. The sequel not so much because it was very repetitive. I DNFed Emily Wilde it was so slow and boring I couldn’t finish it.
I think you'll like The Ever King? I'm not quite sure though. Blood & Steel was amazing, but after book two, I found it goes downhill a bit. I rated the first two books 4 stars, and book three was 2 stars. I also didn't read the novella that people say you should read, and didn't really suffer any confusion. It was quite obvious, what was going on, even without reading it.
Hey Girlie! I haven’t seen anyone read the covenant series by JLA or the games gods play and was curious what your thoughts would be on them. I know you love JLA’s adult fantasy and the covenant series is a ya series! Also love your content keep being you! ☺️💕
The games gods play isn’t published in the UK so I have no way to get my hands on this! Can’t get it physically or on kindle (yet, hopefully they decide to publish it here next year 😭)
Would like to ask an off topic question if that’s ok. You read a LOT. I also read a Lot. In fact wish I had more hours to read even more. The bad part about reading is it’s a sedentary hobby (no I don’t like audio please don’t tell me to listen to books). How do you find ways to not be sedentary if that makes sense?
@@mistyespinosa1231 i have a walking pad for when I want to move and read but I am quite active! I have dance classes 1-2 times a week and I do Pilates classes 2-3 times a week 🥰 I need physical exercise hobbies for my mental health so I am moving most days and then spend my free time in the evenings reading in bed. Weekends I might walk and read !
coming from someone who has read the entire shadowhunter chronicles, if you have never read anything from cassandra clare, I highly recommend starting with the infernal devices series. It is the superior shadowhunter series.
That’s good to know! I got the Infernal Devices books on Facebook marketplace and I’ve put them at the bottom of my TBR because I never hear people talk about them!
I’ve read the trigger warning list and I read a looooot of dark books! Darker books aren’t a negative for me I just like to read them when I’m in the right mood & mindset for them 🥰
I could not stand the audiobook narrator’s voice for Assistant to the Villian, but that could just be me. Maybe listen to the sample on Libby first. I stopped listening about 30 seconds in 😂
Loved ever king! Highly recommend listening to the pirates of Caribbean soundtrack while reading lol. Really sets the mood. I really enjoyed worthy of Fate as well.
You’ve said it a few times, and it’s SO TRUE - the longer you own a book, the less likely you are to read it. This was a reality check for me!
The Ever King duology is one of my favourite reads this year!! So underrated and LJ Andrews writing is amazing!!
I also loved this duology so much, even more than I expected 😍
Read the mist Thief at the end of last month & was just as taken with it ❤
I put the broken kingdom series on my 2025 tbr because of my Ever Seas enjoyment 🎉 so excited for it
omg i loveeeed fireborne, the whole series is amazing!!! it's what I expected forth wing to be
Read the first three city of bones, then infernal devices triiology, then back to book 4 to 6 in city of bones, then the dark artificer triology, then the last hour trilogy x

The legendborn cycle is my everything! So excited to see what your thoughts are about this series!! I'm super hyped for Oathbound
I would love to see a completing series’s I’m in the middle of video for 2025!
I enjoyed Legendborn so much! I flew through the boys of tommen books and I agree they are a fast read considering the size of the books ❤
I love longer videos, you make me excited to read, Emmy! 🫶🏻🥰
Tomorrow x3 is a GORGEOUS book! It has so much heart and is apparently quite accurate to what video game design is like (my cousin who is a video game designer loved it!)
The Assistant and Apprentice to the Villain are great audios ! That’s how I read them !
yes i agree, just finished them!!
so excited for your thoughts on Butcher & Blackbird & The Poppy War!!

Also about the boys of tommen series, don't get discouraged because of the length , it will be over before you know it 😭❤️
The boys of tommen books are great and I finished them too fast. They may be big books but they a fast reads ❤
the bone season is one of my favorite series of ALL TIME!!!! heavily underrated and I think you would like better than priory. The cliffhanger on the last book is the absolute craziest cliffhanger I've ever experienced like truly have no idea where we're going in the fifth book (in the best way)
boys of tommen is super fast paced!

So many good books! ❤
So many of these books are also on my list for 2025! Super excited to read along with you and hear your thoughts!
First of all, never complain for making a long video, we love the yapping about books. Fever series is absolutely amazing, one of the best fantasy series imo.
Can't wait to see your reactions to the boys of tommen and the devils night series ❤
Definitely would recommend the audios for the Emily Wilde series! They are so good in my opinion!
It seems like every time I watch one of your videos I add another book to my endless tbr!
I found the Fireborne series in the U.K. of Scifier! I would highly recommend for hard to find books 😊
BOYS OF TOMMEN oh my god ill cry that's my favorite series ever. you will not be ok
yesss assistant and apprentice to the villain are best consumed via audiobook as well as butcher and blackbird
Loved ever king! Highly recommend listening to the pirates of Caribbean soundtrack while reading lol. Really sets the mood. I really enjoyed worthy of Fate.

I listened to the Assistant to the Villain and I feel like it’s the perfect audiobook!
Read Slaying the Shadow Prince 3rd! There is a cliffhanger at the end of Vows & Ruins and Slaying the Shadow Prince is a prequel that explains the cliff hanger!
I LOVED Legendborn, also Fever series! Both are based on girls from Atlanta Ga which I am also so they pulled me in, but are FANTASTIC!
I LOOOOVE Legendborn and I'm pretty sure you're going to love it too! We have very similar tastes. I'm super excited for book 3!! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.

you should check out the brown sisters trilogy by talia hibbert!! a trilogy of standalone romance novels that follow each sister following in love, and the last one has two autistic people falling in love🩷
Immediately add to cart so many of these. My husband will stroke out😮
Have you read Dark Fae by the Twisted sisters?
My recommendation is Frost by CN Crawford. I thought it was similar to Cruel Prince but more adult. No smut though! It’s like The Bachelor with fae! It was a fun read. The sequel not so much because it was very repetitive. I DNFed Emily Wilde it was so slow and boring I couldn’t finish it.
i just read tomorrow3x last week and omg…im so pissed that i enjoy it THAT much, i rated it 5 stars 😭 it’s hard to get into at first tho
This is basically my 2025 TBR 😂🥰
Second comment! 😂 thanks your the great videos ❤
I had to put Cassandra Clare down the "brother/sister" thing just was too much for me. Even shortlived too much. I have alot of these on my TBR
I think you'll like The Ever King? I'm not quite sure though. Blood & Steel was amazing, but after book two, I found it goes downhill a bit. Totally agree, infernal devices were my hyperfixation for so long as a teen!!
If you feel everything you read; I would not recommend The Poppy War trilogy. Or at least read the trigger warnings first.
I’ve read the trigger warning list and I read a looooot of dark books! Darker books aren’t a negative for me I just like to read them when I’m in the right mood & mindset for them 🥰
Klink klink gosh your rings are clunking the cup every 5 seconds
