In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about the story of Jessica lal and Nitish Katara Murder case. Jessica Lal while working as a celebrity barmaid at a crowded socialite party was shot dead by Manu Sharma, Son of a wealthy and influential Congress nominated Member of Parliament from Haryana. The lower court after 6 years of heating released the accused and only after public uproar the case was reinvestigated. Through media sting operations, what was revealed was a nexus of police money power and politics. The witnesses were bribed and coerced, the evidence was destroyed and manipulated. Another person involved in the case was Vikas Yadav Son of Bahubali politician DP Yadav. Who was later convicted in Nitish Katara Murder case. What a tragedy. How painful it must have been for Sabreena. Can't even imagine. And I know it was her right to forgive the culprit but forgiving such a person who not only killed her sister but was directly responsible for the atrocities her family went through and indirectly responsible for her parent's death is just unbelievable. Hats off to her but forgiving such criminals just gives courage to these power backed freaks. You can see such incidents everywhere, most are not even reported to police. Sad

Manu sharma was never in the jail while serving his time, he was frequently seen out of prison time after time. This is how this country's law and order is.

Respected Sir,
It is to inform that ASRB conducted AO/FAO online exam on 10.05.2022. Currently I am a resident of Uttar Pradesh and my exam centre was in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. I have applied for the post of both AO and FAO. In this regard following points must be noted please,
(i) The exam server crashed on my PC as soon as I attempted my 1st question. The centre authority started again the exam and the server crashed again.
(ii) Within 10 minutes 50 % candidates reported the same issue and there was panic and everybody started shouting.
(iii) For about one hour the same issue continued and after that the exam was once again started and the candidates were asked to attempt the exam as per the preference part I then IV , III and then II or else the server will go down if not attempted In the same order. After that the server crashed for many students many times.
(iv) Due to above every candidate suffered, those whose server was not crashed also suffered due to the unrest created by other candidates.
I applied for both the AO/FAO ( Spent Rs 1000) examination and believe me the above issue made us so mentally frustrated. The paper was conducted in such an awful manner that all the candidates were cursing ASRB. Everybody suffered including those whose server worked fine. I threrefore request you to kindly cancel the whole 1st shift or else this will create a huge dissatisfaction among the candidates and the same will hamper the Ministry of agricultre’s ICAR image.
A sincere AO/FAO candidate who just faced the worst exam ever.

I find it funny, when a murder case is before the court and the investigation officer has done a haphazard work then instead of directing the police official to conduct a proper investigation and also putting a note in the service record of that official, courts treat it in a casual manner, unless of course the victim is a judge as has happened in the MP judge murder case.
