Thank you so much for this swatching! I love purples and your video shows such a variety 🥰 my absolute fave is Lamy Dark Lilac (no longer findable), also Kobe #18 and #57 Himeajisai, plus Sailor Studio 735 and 935. Diamine Purple Dream, Sailor Nekoyanagi are also great! And Poussiere de Lune
That last Pilot ink is absolutely a purple and belongs in this collection. I love so many of these inks and will have to check out a good number of them. I am personally on the hunt for the perfect purple, so this was awesome to watch! Thank you so much.
Such great colors! I love purple inks! Might have to get a bottle of Purple Dream! ...and mabye a few others ...and maybe a new pen ...and a few notebooks. 🤦🤷
purple is my favorite color and oooh i may have to get a sample of diamine purple dream. i got a sample from goulet pens of de atramentis' alexander hamilton and when i swatched it i fell in love. probably going to be buying a full bottle of it when i can afford it!
"translation"... perfect word... love, love, love your content. So informative and pleasant, and a pleasure to experience. Thank you for all you do and give to this community... Please stay safe. With warmth, kindness, and care beyond expectation, Xerxius Maximus
aji sai is like a periwinkle, which is an awesome color that is very hard to come by in, well, anything lol I have a shirt in that color and I wish I could find more things in that color!
My opinion on purple is usually "It's purple, stick it on a dead guy and bury it" but these purple inks might be changing that. My favourite is the Pilot Iroshizuku (because Pilot) but that Colorverse above it, and Robert Oster dusty violet with the shimmer!
Purple is my number one love in life! And I went off the deep end when I first got into fountain pens. I will echo the Alexander Hamilton choice below for just a deep, jewel-toned, wet purple ink. J. Herbin Amethyste de l'Oural is pretty and the shimmer is well-behaved. Sailor Ink Studio 735 and 935 are probably my current favorites, they both have a pronounced goldish sheen which is the closest I have found to the great and mythical Lamy Dark Lilac.
Thank you so much!! I love the purples!! I tend to like more of the bluer toned ones than the red toned ones. Maybe the pilot iroshizuku aji-sai is more indigo? When you put the second layer it looked more indigo. Maybe it’s the type of paper? Or the color of the paper? Thank you again for this video. Love how you describe everything while you write and put samples of the ink on paper. God bless you! ❤️🙏
I inked up my flex pen with nekoyanagi last week and that makes an amazing combo. But previously I had a sample of nadeshiko and I think I might slightly prefer that one, it’s very similar but a stronger tilt toward blue. Now I kind of want to try kyokkou…
I recently discovered vintage purple from Conklin. And that is a great purple ink. Also solferino from rohrer & klingner is really great even though i would categorise it more as a pink/magenta ink. And for a classic dark violet leaning purple I like waterman tender purple or Montblanc psychedelic purple (I am a fine nib lover, they look nearly identical; quite dark with no real shading).

Great video!! The last ink looks more purple when you write with it.
Thank-you for your swatches!! I find that they help me choose which samples to order! I think that last ink is the perfect in between color! 💜💙
I totally agree!

You'll need to visit Stylus Fine Pens on Whyte Ave now that you're back in Edmonton!
@@KarynaLovesToPlan Oooo a real store? How fun! I'll check them out for sure! Thanks Karyna!!!

I may need to try a sample of that!
Thank you I have been looking for a comparison for hayabusa and the pilot murasaki.
Glad this could help!
The Herbin or the diamine purple dream. I love darker purples

Ah thank you for clarifying! It is so pretty!
I love RO claret and Herbin’s poussiere de lune!!!
Oooooo I'd say either is Aji-sai and Purple Dream on your page. I really like Diamine Bilberry. It's like a SUPER dark blurple.
I love how fountain pen inks have created colours like blurple. :D

Haha, I feel like you're switching your colour preferences the more I know you... I mean, you and pink. What more can I say?

Love the color theme on the ink samples. Helps us pick likes.
My wallet is scared. Purple is not my favorite color, but when it comes to fp inks, I am super weak against it. 🙃🙂🙃🙂

Laly, you're right - it is more indigo! Thanks for watching!

All the Sailor inks are so good!

These are all great recommendations! Thank you!
Yay purple!
Please. Call it Inksploration
Most of those colours aren’t purple.
Thank you for interacting with my channel and for watching my videos! This truly helps the algorithm so that more people can see my videos. Thank you!
Diamine Purple Dream surprised me. I really like it and Aji-Sai of course, which will be my first Iroshizuku ink eventually. 😇🩵🙏🙌
Both are great choices for purple!
