I think ice would be a good element for a monk maybe with a good deal of slows/stuns but the monk would have a problem of being very short ranged maybe and maybe like oblivion it could have a passive where its light/heavy attacks and/or skills take stamina and maybe other resources.

We Need A Vampire Class They Can Even
Add A Storyline Where The Vestige Must
Watch A Young Vampire Who's Still Scared
Of Her Father (Harkon) Her Mother Comes
To Serana And I'm Hoping To See Her And
The Dragonborn In A Crossover Event That
Can Tie The Story Of Serana To The Main
Quest And Even 3 Choices She Can Be Saved From Harkon Or If She Meets
Vestige While Being Chased By Enemy
      Vampires As She Continues Fleeing
You'll Hear Serana Say:"It's Hard Being
A Daughter Of Coldharbour" And She'll React Too If Vestige Reveals He's A Soul Shriven And They'll Get Along And After
She's Safe Vestige Can Either Teach Serana How To Not Be Scared Of Harkon
And We Can Even See The Fight Between
Harkon And The Dragonborn Also It Can
Even Match The Player Character (Even
Serana Wanted To Get Harkon To Meet
Molag Bal's Mace But He Kept Running
      From Her During The Fight😂)

Personally I think classes were a mistake to begin with.
They should have offered all the class skill lines individually like they do with all the other lines.
Like what if I want to be a sorcerer with daedric summoning but I want fire magic instead of storm?
But they didn't do that, so my next best suggestion would be to offer new individual skill lines that one can learn through questing like they did with the Psijic... Learn Unarmed from the Khajiit monks in Elsweyr, Learn Fungimancy from Telvanni wizards in Morrowind, Learn music from the Bard's College in Solitude, Learn Hist magic from Argonians in Shadowfen, etc.

I said this from the very beginning. I said they should have just made "base classes" Like Warrior, Sorcerer, Priest, Scout and the like, then make all magic lines into staves and the skills for melee/physical damage as they are done. Then you can pick abilities/spells from a list or "categories" eg. CC, Burst, Dots, Heals. based on your stats.

Honestly, when I saw the Khajiit Monks in Elsweyr I was kinda disappointed they went with the Necromancer. The class itself is fine but to me it just didn't fit the Elsweyr theme so I would love to see the Monkclass realized, finally. The Dwemer Engineer sounds really cool too. A Dragonborn class on the other hand? I don't know. A true dragonborn is extremely rare! I wouldn't like if everybody could be a Dragonborn. Learning the way of the voice from the greybeards could be something that is more likely. Not with a whole class but with a new skill-line. Like the mages guild and such.

I really do want to have some sort of class that has water-based abilities that have some relation to both the Alteration and Destruction magic school. Water magic is in lore as well and is shown many times in ESO, like with Nereids, the final boss of Shipwright's Regret, and there's a idle magic emote where your character holds a water orb.

The bard class could also be linked to the Dwemer. They also have tonal architecture, that is, it would be possible to make one branch of skills: Tonal Architect, where to add the creation of shelters, shields or temporary weapons using sound.
I even thought about the ultimate ability of the class: On the dance floor - to create a zone where allies heal and opponents start dancing until they break out of control, but in 10-15 seconds of the ability's action you will need to do this several times.
For a monk, I think it would be more interesting and easier to balance not a class, but new types of weapons: shaft weapons (combat staff, spear and halberd) and combat gloves or brass knuckles.

Artificer would be different, it could add something more than combat abilities and focus on a whole new set of quests and purposes. A monk could also add some new options. Give the monk mastery of time and space instead of another element. Let them displace in time a few seconds and space a few meters. A master might be able to be in two or more places at once for a short period. As a weapon or to support a group, the ability to focus that displacement on a hostile mob or a group member could make for interesting play.

  • @sulmage9926

For Dwemer engineer, I feel that they will be more leaning towards a minion army build, the second archetype could focus on you and upgrading your armor. I think they could have something like a conduit that you start with. On level one it will have 1 conduit slot and on max level it will have 6 conduit slots. to upgrade your conduit they could have you explore dwemer ruins for schematics and (or) upgrades.
For the minion build, spider automatons could cost 1 conduit slot each specializing in taking out trash mobs fast, the sphere automatons could cost 2 each specializing on dealing with stronger type enemies, the ballista automatons could be more PVP oriented, dealing extra siege damage on structures or siege machines costing 3 slots each, the Dwemer centurion could cost 4 slots each focusing on taking down bosses and strong enemies and providing a small defensive buff on you and near by allies, to simulate the moral boost of having a centurion on your side lol.
Now for the armor upgrading archetype, with this style you forgo having minions in order to upgrade your armor per conduit slot, each conduit slot spend your armor could have a unique effect from a whole array of buffs present in the game, meaning your armor could be totally unique, though a meta will be quickly established :P.
Those where some of my ideas :)

Warrior is already sorta canonically written in in ESO as DK and everywhere optionally, Necro is already in the game for a Worm Cultist class, Monk is not in (we don't have a true pugilist class for punchy kicky action), Bard is partially written in as Warden since it's got heavy spinner type lore an could be brought in with a new skill line, Battlemage is everywhere optionally and written partially as the Sorc class lore, Alchemist is part of Nightblade's kit already; We don't have a traditional Engineer class in ESO yet so dwemer technician would be neat. I think a monk or dwemer tech would be healthy for the game but neither is original.

My top concepts for future classes are...
Pugilist - Give us a character who visually wields no weapons, even when he technically is, giving him unique projectiles for ranged attacks and fitting animations for various melee. He could have an in-fighter type boxer style for melee, throwing daggers and appropriate magic projectiles for ranged.
Bard/Dancer - The classic archetypal support class in many, MANY RPGs. Whatever form it takes, I'd be happy. Hell, theme it after Sanguine. That'd be super fun.
An oceanic-themed class. It would involve a lot of cold and physical damage, so it might be viewed as Warden Part 2, but I think it'd be awesome.
Wild/Chaos Class - Imagine the Wild Magic Sorcerer in DnD 5e, and apply that to an ESO class. Theme it after Sheogorath, obviously.
Shaman - Nature-themed class that focuses on elemental abilities and totems. Wardens are more like Rangers than Druids (Another DnD reference). This would be less focused on ice and have fewer or no animals in their kit, just totems with various effects.
Artificer - A classic "engineer" type class. Pretty self explanatory.

I wrote a feedback letter thru the game awhile back ago, around the time the Warden launched, about having a Bard in the Elder Scrolls and told them how I thought it should be built. It was much like you described it. My favorite style of Bard was the old EQ1. It was such a fun toon. I really hope they bring it. Another EQ style class I wish we could see is a Beastmaster or beastlord. I was hoping the warden was going to be that or at least have a build in that direction, but alas- Nope. Having the abilty to to be friends with the natural world of animals and such could bring a huge element to the game. In a sense, it would be like a summoner since they use the basic element of fire, ice and lightning. Beastlord would use Nature magic to summon. This last one may be wishful thinking but I could see it working.

Here's what I'd propose for the Dwarven Engineer/Constructor:
It would still have the three skill trees, but all have the same ultimate: It would be a Dwarven Mech you can actually control of, either your actually inside the Mech, or you some how control it using some sort of magic, either way while the ultimate is up, your character is not on the battlefield, think of it as the WW ult, or vampire lord ult, now the ultimate itself would have 3 skill trees, so you can augment it's skill as being tanky, dps or a healer, that way ZoS can save some time on getting curtain textures and what not. The Mech would have three main mechanics, steam, hammer swings, and light source beams. You can build it to have all the skills are solo dps or you can build it to have a mix of tank, dps and healing, think of it as scrying in a sence. The steam could do damage but also apply mass CC and armor D-buffs. The hamer would obviously do damage and apply bleeds, and the light beam could knock players from stealth and heal allies around it.

Honestly, you could get really great classes by mixing class ideas together while keeping the concept of what the archetype you’re going for.
The Artificer Class - A dwarven specialist who is talented with potion crafting.
The Skald - a bard who uses music magic and the Thu’um to defeat its foes and support its allies.
The “warrior” archetype should be the Barbarian and it should have a Rage mechanic tied to it. Specializes in weaponry and totems in combat and support.
As for the monk and battle mage…
The monk could be introduced with an unarmed skill tree that should be included in a weapon expansion focused chapter. Though a class based on Water, Wind & Earth would be cool.
As for the Battle Mage… Class Specializations. I think class specializations would be amazing and the battle mage would be perfect for a DPS melee focused sorcerer specialization.

Eso class system is very different from any other rpg, even the other elder scrolls games. It's not really "what archetype you wanna be" but more like "what kind of powers do you want to have?".
Warrior, Battlemage and Monk are archetypes, they define a way of fighting, something you can already do with the weapons and armors of your choice, they don't have any powers proper to them (even though a hand to hand skill line would be nice).
What we're looking for is what kind of POWERS we don't have.
DK: Akaviri dragon powers with fire and earth magic
Sorcerer: Oblivion powers with conjuration and thunder magic
Nightblade: Sithis powers with shadow and blood magic.
Templar: Aedra powers with light magic.
Warden: Fauna, Flora and Ice magic.
    Necro: Death magic
Arcanist: Apocrypha powers with runes and cthulhu like magic
Water and Wind elements are missing.
Bard could be a nice touch with a music based magic.
Sword Singers are also a thing.
Maormer Storm Magic could have water and wind elements.
Dwemer tonal magic could be interesting to expand. We could finally learn why and how they disappeared.

Then, we could also have one of the more engaging new play styles added to the game. I love Dragonborn but play Skyrim if you want that.

  • @wolfgod6443

Warrior & Battlemage: Same issue regarding "class" identity. You can already make them through weapon skills. It's not the answer people want, but it definitely holds them back.
Monk (and potentially Dragonborn): Has much more potential when looking at the different monk(like) professions throughout Tamriel. The Nordic Greybeards/Tongues, Khajiit wind monks, and Redguard ansei are rooted in lore and even more appropriate as a TES class than something like the Arcanist or Warden (no hate towards those classes, just saying this is a not a weird class choice at all). While these skills generally take a lifetime to master, we are the player character, we're built different. I see no problem giving us a few shouts with a thu'um tree, a shehai (spirit sword), and wind magic. Heck, unrelenting force and whirlwind sprint are already basically wind spells already.
Alchemist & Dwemer Engineer: Could probably be combined into one. The Skyrim Dwemer practiced alchemy on the Falmer, hence their blindness, and in Morrowind even developed C4. In a general overview the class could be focused on self experimentation through mechanical and chemical means as a tank tree, then use throwable devices, potions, or constructs for healing and dps.
Bard & Greybeard/Tongue: The boring way of doing this is to have a "bard" that simply prioritizes the Voice, then have a bard tree. Don't get me wrong I think a lot of people would like that, but if we was a real *BARD* then it'd have to be different from other classes. More than anything, I think it should take advantage of and celebrate ESO's less combat focused mechanics and community. Expecting change from ZOS is...Well, don't get your hopes up, but ZOS is at the very least likes to talk up the strength of their community and I think a bard class could prove it.

I'd love to see a class that focuses on weapon play, buffs to weapons (status effects/attack speed) etc. I feel like it would bring some freshness into the game and break the boring metas with interesting combinations potentially giving more use to maces/mauls, axes, and one handed swords instead of the mostly used daggers/great sword that imo plagues the current stamina meta. As for staves one of the class skill lines could focus on giving additional effects to light/heavy attacks. I really just want to see weapons have more to them than the kind of buff/function they give. An elementalist class could also be cool mixing multiple elements to make reactions between them.

I would say dragon born or dragon priest would be cool. Make the masks mean something and toggle them off mid play with a cast time. Monks would be nice. But I would really like 2 new weapon skill lines, "unarmed" and "book/wand" combo for casters. Make the unarmed be that martial arts of you don't want to do a full class build then add in a 2 handed or bow backbar. And with the book/wand idea that'll give more customization like you can with dual wield. And you would be bringing new life to the original classes. And you could make the "weapon" slots for unarmed be like henna ink or different bracelets so you can get your set bonuses. Maybe make the different wants specialize in old magic like illusion or conjuring.

    Starchanter:
Channels the power of the celestial constellations. Warrior/Lord for tank, Thief/Mage for DPS, and the Lover/Lady for heals. Cosmic warp as a teleport skill, Gravity as a stun, Celestial Radiance as a bubble heal. The Lovers Embrace for the heal ultimate, a big heal and other effect. Other morph would be The Lady's Call that gives a group shield like barrier, but scales off of passives. The Warriors Might a tank ultimate that gives a group damage buff. The other morph is The Lord's Judgement, a big defensive and aoe stun. The Thief's Cunning, a phys damage ability. The Mage's Wrath, magic damage morph. The ultimates mantle the constellations. Could have The Shadows Stealth, The Serpents Fang, The Rituals Order. Get creative with the star magic.
    Artificer:
A steampunk class that mixes in the alchemist idea with dwemer machinery. Uses a combination of inventions and alchemy to do damage, tanking and healing. Tank ultimate you summon and wear a big dwemer centurions armour and you can use the ultimate again whilst it's active to do an ape spin attack that knocks back enemies. Heal ultimate could be you throwing a crate of potions at a targeted area and you get major buffs and the other morph does major debuffs. The damage ultimate you summon a dwemer raptor thing from clockwork city (essentially a reskinned clanfear) to do damage. It lasts a certain amount of time and then explodes.
    Warmaster:
Summonable weapons and armour. You can summon a circle of blades with the animation that the symphony of blades type enemy does. Summon armour. Have unique weapon interaction skills like Templar spear skills. Maybe a Bladedancer type skill. Originates from the Yokudans (not Shehai stuff). Damage ultimate could be a rain of swords. Heal ultimate could be 6 resto staves in a hexagon and they produce an aoe effect. Tank aoe summons a phalanx. A wall of shields where the tank is in the center and follows the tank. Movement speed is reduced, but it could offer a synergy where it would thrust out spears and any enemies in the area get hit scaling on the users damage stats or tanks max health

And painting could be a painting simulator in which your painting could be anonymously review by other players and if your painting is good then you earn a title or anything. And you can use and sell painting as furniture too. To facilitate such feature, zos has to make sure all user created stuff is kept in a user specific server space like a facebook, instagram does , and such assets will be kind of stream into the game like and instagram post are presented in the app.

"enhancement mage" is my favorite playstyle in RPGs in general like mystic knight or runeblade. Arconist comes the closest but that's not alteration magic like oldschool TES.

My main reason for this is because I mainly PVE with a bit of PVP; I dont have time to level up a bunch of characters AND have the same level of completion/progression.(Unless ZOS introduces class changing tokens)
Scribing has been great in this regard, almost making my point null, especially when combined with Arcanist passive for status effects. Still, if asked about what I'd like in a new class, there it is, for what it's worth.

It was a class that went in on bleed damage and got bonuses for using axes. But also had an alternate path; if you went magicka, it would be like you took a deal with the daedric prince of disease Peryite, so your skills and their theme would become disease based instead of bleed. I even made a skill icon for one of its ults for fun. If you look up "Barbarian v1.0" on the eso forums, you'll find it. I'd update it, but I got banned on the forums (for a bullshit reason).

The next class will probably be something new or more standalone since the classes we have now are, warrior, mage, stealth, nature, light and necro. The arcanist was pretty much sorc but specified on a particular thing. Arcanist is one of those that can’t really branch out to other archetypes where as the core 4 can be any of the other
