Brown Sugar's BBQ was across from the mall facing Greens Rd. There was a good fried chicken place in the gas station at Imperial Valley , we called it Crack Chicken. It was good. I heard it got flooded out during Harvey and never reopened. I moved to Rhode Island after i got laid off. No one wants to pay decent in Houston anymore

I lived on Imperial Valley when I first moved to Houston in 1982. It was sketchy, but not all that bad. It started deteriorating not long after

And all the apts flood during big storms. Closest I ever lived was on Ella Blvd. Forgot the name of the complex. Early 90s

I have to say I kinda miss Houston, but not the heat.
I used to live on seminar and imperial valley from the ages of 4 to 13 from 94 to 03
