What a fantastic job you have done. A lot of time , research, and effort gone in to this 👌 makes me want to do mine I'll certainly us your video for reference. That one lovely moggy well done 👍
Thank you for your kind words Sean. It's been a struggle to confirm the right spec but I think it looks close to original spec. Plenty more to do on the car though!!
i am going to make my parcelshelf from several lengths of fence palings sanded and oiled using the old metal bar to each side to support them should look different, ,alas i have no heater yet
Hi. I love what you have done here and it is really helpful as I embark on sorting a new parcel shelf. I notice you resprayed the whole dashboard, my car is the same colour Rose Taupe and wonder what paint you used as the G27 is more brown than pink/lilac/brown than the colour of mine.
Thank you for your kind words. Paint was supplied by spraydosen-shop.de Spray Can Blmc-Rover Group BLGR 27 Rose Taupe one coat (400ml) (SDS-BLMC-BLGR-27-E). They were great to deal with, you can order online and delivery is prompt, so recommend. Part 1 video has the info in the description.
Excellent project, BUT.........I just don't know why so many RUclipsrs have to do the 1000 mph video clips. It's so un- natural and frantic. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for reaching out. I use the hyperlapse on sections that maybe be too slow or boring to watch at normal speed. I want to show what I'm doing, but I don't want to bore the viewer with a drawn out sequence. May not suit everyone, but this was my thought process.
What an excellent job!! I have the same arrangement/colour in my '62 4 door saloon, and whilst I have painted the shelf and heater shroud a couple of times in the 30 odd years (stone coloured vinyl silk!), I think I will be doing the same as you have done the next time round. Can you please give details of the material /colour /manufacturer?
Thanks for uploading your work . This reminded me of my father's early February registered 1963 4 door Minor when it was nearly new . Same dash , one of the last fitted with an old stock 950 c.c engine and a newer tenth of mileometer speedo. Being in mind that early in the UK in 62-63 we had one of the worst winters ever it isn't surprising that production didn't match the vehicle build plans.

Hi,
Glad you enjoyed the video. The material I used was "Master 403 Calm" from Boyriven who are based in Andover. Good luck with it!
