I came across the camber craze back in '10, where I'd seen some crazy camber on a 85 Rabbit (image from the UK) and coming from road racing/touge, I had thought it was photoshopped...wrong!!!. Well, not my cup of tea, but it is what we used to do back in the 80's, seeing how low we can get our VW Bugs on suspension....But damn on that -20 plus camber though! Subscribed! I think it has to do with the mindset people who stance their cars have in the first place. It's about being over the top drastic about what we consider to be a normal modification.
It's already understood that stancing a car comes with a gigantic amount of saftery issues, wear and tear x10 and having to go ultra instinct when it comes to cracks in the road. But to them, being able to standout and draw attention is worth it.
I wouldn't personally do this to my own car, but I have a different mindset when it comes to modifying things. I can still appreciate the amount of time, money and passion that goes into this specific culture of cars. When they are clean and as safe as you can make them, they're nice.
