Thank you Shimano, because the gold Calcutta reels were made so well, we can keep cleaning them up and reusing them for life, without ever having to buy another reel.
The new Stradic SWs are pretty much the same thing, leaving for Panama tomorrow with the full quiver. Last January the 14000 was flawless, two sharks well over 200 pounds, cuberas up to 46, smooth all around, drag was perfect.
Dumbest ad in the world! We are fishermen, not 10-year-old kids who want their dad to buy the next car based on looks! Where are the specifications? How do these new reels solve nagging issues for serious anglers? Get a new ad agency with people who fish.
I understand what you mean. But Shimano has good quality reels, I personally bought my self the Shimano curado dc and it’s been awesome so far almost 2 years know it’s not all about looks it’s about quality in the long run.
No Quickfire Trigger additions....? As a long, long time Shimano user, I have to say that is one feature that has been integral to keeping me with the brand. Don't be so quick to discount the benefits of the feature and the customer base who appreciates it.
@@thesonorandesertangler As expected, a comment about not being up to economic means.... I use the Spirex for customers when I guide. I use it myself. A better reel with it equipped would be something those of us who usually don't snub others, who purchase reels within our means might be interested in.
@@JohnPierce-e7c I was just stating facts. Once you get into $80+ territory you don't see trigger assists. Why would they add that to a new Stella? The people buying a Stella don't want that shit on their reel. Why add a feature that is goingtogive a spinning reel a 1/4 turn play on the rotor? They're designed for beginners hence the price point. All the reels in this video are high end reels too. There just isn't a big demand for kid/beginner reels.
how are you going to tell me what I’m talking if I’m sharing my experience. As if every reel made is flawless? That’s the problem with the internet.. too many KNOW IT ALLS.. I have twice sent my TranX to Shimano to repair.. it’s supposed to be for salt and freshwater.. but I use it solely for Salmon fishing. But don’t speak on what you don’t know. I’m not claiming you lying about your eight reels
@ really I don’t care what you want, bro do you make fishing reels? Do you work for Shimano so I don’t care what function you want good for you and your function bro and if you don’t have anything to say, keep your opinion to yourself.
Now that you've put out Caius, I'd like to see an update on the Japanese bassone bassrise.
Huh, I really thought we were going to get a refreshed Aldebaran although I see a DC version is going out on the JDM market.
Maybe ICAST or at the Classic

Wow the colour of twin power
Stella SW D and TwinPOWER XD B is on my Christmas list
So when are you gonna use screw in handles for your under $150 reels?
good question mate. nevermind $150, there are some good screw in handles from the competition for half the price.
Is shimano going to bring back the quick fire and fighting drag
I'm still holding onto my old Scorpion.
No new Saragosa? About time to release one

So not the other Stella?
Coming in 2026, as four years refresh cycle
@ Ah ok, thank you! So I can safely buy the current model knowing no new one will come out 3 weeks after I bought it 😂

The Chronarch is the poor man's Aldeberran MGL and pointless with the Curado, Metaninium and Bantam

😂 shimano please hide the screw holes on the baitcaster reels please makes the reels look much better
Not that excited for this reels. All im hoping is they make lefties for Ocea Jigger LD models
Nothing exciting
The old tranX is horrible!
Really? I purchased my OG Tranx 300 on release, never had a single issue with it.
I have 4 and they are great and used in salt water
I keep having to return mine because the bail skips and doesn’t retrieve the line. I ended up purchasing two of the DC Shimano HG reels love them
I have eight Tranx A, zero issues, brilliant for pike and musky. You're talking crap man.
