I was skiing at Deer Valley last New Year’s and stayed at the Stein Eriksen Lodge. It’s amazing. For food recommendations, I’ve tried the 🦃 chili and it’s that good. The Stein Eriksen dining room, the one with the buffet, also serves great wagyu pastrami. At night, the cafeteria at the base is a restaurant called Cast & Cut, a meat and seafood buffet and they have these chocolate snowball desserts that are to die for
just discovered your channel ,,it is really first class,, throughly enjoy your videos , u go into detail n take your time going over details ,, most channels brush thru destinations too quickly ,, especially enjoy your France videos ,, thank you for the energy u put into your videos..it is really a welcome treat to see your videos
Planning to ski Deer Valley? Be prepared to spend upwards of $1,000 a night for a humdrum room one of the lodges and hotels. How about $250 lift tickets? And dinner for four could set you back an easy $600 or more. Skiing is no longer a sport that most Americans can afford, especially at major western resorts. I prefer to ski the uncrowded, friendly resorts of the Michigan Upper Penninsula, where you can buy a season pass for the cost of two days' skiing at Aspen, Vail or Deer Valley.
Kim thank you for such a wonderful overview! I’ll be traveling to Deer Valley (and skiing) for the first time in a few months so I found this to be so informative! I’m subscribed!❤
Thank you Kim! @Kim (and anyone subscribed to this channel) do you have a POV on which is the "nicer/better" resort between: Montage, Stein Eriksen and St. Regis? Looking for top of the line Rooms, Dining and Drinks afterwards. Seems like all are nice...but if anyone has any real life experience, would be much appreciate...thanks for the Video Kim!!
Beautiful resort but so expensive. I’ve just had a week at Val Thorens in the French Alps. Sublime. Met so many Americans skiing there who fly to Europe as so much better value.
How old do you have to be to do snow mobile. I am going down to deer valley for the Sundance festival and was looking for fun things to do with my family. Is snow mobileing a good family activity.
I live in Park City, Jordanelle Reservoir close to the Jordanelle Express Gondola to be exact. Everything is spot on on your tips except Chimayo Restaurant🤢🤮. That place really sucks and please, please, and please don't waste your money going there. As an option to staying in Salt Lake City on budget consider staying in Heber City or Midway. Those areas are under 30 mins from the gondola off Hwy. 40, Mayflower Exit.

It funny they dont allow snowboards 😂 sounds like a good place for a snowboard meet up 😊
Why don't you just "meet up" where you're wanted?
Too funny😂
