You should do "The Formula" next by The D.O.C. "It's Funky Enough" was how many of us first came to know him but isn't at all in his usual style. In fact, he didn't even want to release it. The story goes that he and Dre were messing around in the studio and he was playing at a Jamaican accent and Dre said, "You should record a song like that!" D.O.C. hated the idea but went with it. So "The Formula" is more representative.

"Stop him in his tracks, show him that I am ruthless." Love that line. The same line is in Eazy's Real Muthaphuccin' G's. The D.O.C. is a sad story. He had everything going for him and several months after this video release, he was in a horrible car accident (driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol) that resulted in permanent damage to his voice, primarily due to a breathing tube that injured his larynx, effectively ending his rap career.
When it comes to Easy.. my favorite is We Want Easy cause it's just an insanely good time party song!!! As others said.. DOC's whole album is good. For another personal favorite good vibes song but from mid 90's this time.. I have to recommend E40...Rapper's Ball!
I guarantee you, if DOC wouldn't have been in the accident that damaged his vocal , he would have had a huge career.. Even the little time he had he still left us with two classic songs

I still have this D.O.C. tape! One of the first hip hop tapes that I could play all the way through with no skipping. Absolutely 🔥 THE D.O.C. and the Doctor, Let The Bass Go, Lend Me An Ear, The Formula, The Grand Finale!
Happy New years. Keep everything positive like you do and I know you will hit your goals in no time. Also recommendations: Redman - TIme 4 sum Aksion, Special Ed - I got it made.
Not much of a West Coast guy, but the DOC is something you can always rock to. Check out the formula or no one can do it better. The whole album was a banga. The D.O.C. Was in a car accident shortly after this album was released. He had an operation on his vocal cords and couldn’t rhyme again. He did release a second album that was real raspy and didn’t hit like the first one. I remember buying that second album with high hopes, and when I heard his voice, it hurt, but I still pumped it just cause it was the DOC.
D.O.C. was not a member of NWA...he was affiliated with Ruthless Records and NWA.. also writing lyrics for Eazy and Dre. The music is a replayed interpolation of "Misdemeanor" by Foster Sylvers
Almost got 30K before today, let's do it before Feb.✅. Same sample can be found with, SWV feat Snoop Dogg=Gettin' Funky (1997). both coming from Foster Sylvers' "Misdemeaner" (1973)🔥
Nobody has worse luck than the DOC. Google what happened to his throat/voice. And as far as DOC goes, The Formula is my favorite by him. This music I bought when it came out. I can suggest all kinds of old school rap. I’ll start off with one that your vid on jj fad, reminded me of. You liked the beat box. You’ll love The Skinny Boys song Jockbox. Another obscure, awesome old jam is by Marley Marl: The Symphony. Better than Juice Crew’s song of same name. You’re welcome. 🤘🏼

You gotta do Grand Finale and that album!!! It’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One, and here comes the two to the three and four
Then I drop the beat I have in store
Lay dynamics on the top like a rug
Make it sound smooth and later make a dub
An MC ate well, so that you can tell
I am not illiterate, no not even a little bit
Nothing like an idiot, get it?
You want the record, cool, I'm with it
Let the rhythm take you, shake it cause it makes you
As I turn the knob of the door you escape through
Go in like a knot, don't be a puff
And I let it play cause Dre's getting funky enough
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Watch the smooth lyrics that take place
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Watch the smooth lyrics that take place
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Watch the smooth lyrics that take place
If you want another reason why it must be funky
Yo I am not a jackass meaning not a donkey
So I will play the game like it should be played
Drop the funk into the mix so the place will never fade
Ship it the the stations in your jurisdiction
Others say I'm dope, and the others say I'm bitching
No crowd can avoid the D-O to the see
When I'm P-E-are-F-O-are-M-I-N-G
On the stage, see the simple fact is I engulf
And known, I rock a funky beat without a cord so
It is my conclusion you will enjoy the fusion
And I will ascend with the style I am using
Knowing that it's tough and it's not a bluff
I think I'll let it play cause Dre's hitting funky enough
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Watch the smooth lyrics that take place
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Watch the smooth lyrics that take place
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Watch the smooth lyrics that take place
Listen to the kick drop in with the click
And with no rehearses I'm dropping funky verses
Stupid with the bit that you think you are relying on
You love it when it rattles is the fact that I'm buying on
Suckers never come close cause of knowing
There is no stopping the D.O.C. when I'm flowing
But in the event that someone will try and juice this
Stop him in his tracks, show him that I am Ruthless
I don't give a damn, don't think that I am joking
Cause I don't think he is funny when you're messing with my money
Yo people tell me this: "Yo Dre you must stop him"
But with no frills, so I just drop him
Continue with the rhyme and make sure I get mine
With no static cause that's all I need to get my nine, but
Lessons have been learned now all kidding have been fronting
Let it play when the people say "Dre yo you're getting funky enough"
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Deal with the D-O to the see
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Deal with the D-O to the see
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
Deal with the D-O to the see
I'm your break so I can check around
See who the hell who is sitting down
I want all chairs off the floor
And if he stands to the wall, show him the door
And the PK nothing giving you something to rock to
To go nonstop to, not have to look at the clock you
Percieve, but can't believe you're being taken
By a beat so cool you start shaking
And shivering, cause I'm delivering the answer
Haven't seen you're a hellified dancer
You tried sitting but it just won't work
Cause the beat is to fresh
Don't even tell it won't be funky enough
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
And with the help of the Dr. Dre, kick it
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
And with the help of the Dr. Dre, kick it
It's getting funky, it's getting funky
And with the help of the Dr. Dre, kick it
It's getting funky on the mix now, right
Put it in the needle, and drop it on the one, boy
It's getting funky on the mix now, right
Put it in the needle, and drop it on the one, boy
It's getting funky on the mix now, right
Put it in the needle, and drop it on the one, boy
It's getting funky on the mix now, right
Put it in the needle, and drop it on the one, boy

I wore this tape out when I got it back in ‘89
Happy New Year Young Boogie, 30K is on its way with this being one of your top 10 reaction videos!
In Dr Dre's Career To This Day Boogie He Was More Famous For His Beat Making Back Then,.. When Beats We're Actually Made By Hands Not Just A Computer Like Nowadays!!!
The original track used for the song is called "Mistermeanor" by the Silvers.
Also the year I graduated from high school. So glad I witnessed the pioneers of rap (hip-hop). GOAT is still Rakim tho
DOC the formula best song on the album !!!
I'm 31 but remember back in 2000 when I was 7 and my OG's put me on this I was blown away, got a little older around 17 went back to heard this again I was like damn D.O.C is fire, GTA got me into his music too tho
Happy New Year!!!
The DOC is one of the BADDEST to do it!
I’m adding this comment, before I watch your reaction, because you picked one, this time and I know you’re gonna enjoy Funky Enough. My Favorite DOC track is
The Formula
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Truth is though, the whole album smacks!
This is a prime example of someone getting busy on the mic.
This is on the workout playlist
I still have this D.O.C. tape! One of the first hip hop tapes that I could play all the way through with no skipping. Absolutely 🔥 THE D.O.C. and the Doctor, Let The Bass Go, Lend Me An Ear, The Formula, The Grand Finale!
right after this album.. ICE CUBE dropped Amerikka most wanted... another album you could play right thru.. no skips
Happy New years. Keep everything positive like you do and I know you will hit your goals in no time. Also recommendations: Redman - TIme 4 sum Aksion, Special Ed - I got it made.
Doc is from Dallas Texas. He wears the Cowboys jersey in the NWA movie. Dre beats are forever.
That beat is from Foster Sylvers "Misdemeanor " recorded in 1973, An R&B head banger back in the day
Not much of a West Coast guy, but the DOC is something you can always rock to.
Dr. Dre is the best producer in hip hop history
Wow! I was 18 years old.
Boogie, you must review "The Grand Finale" no video but thre lyrics are off the chain. I'm subscribed when you was at 10.000. NWA and D.O.C
Him and Cube wrote all NWA lyrics! He was that dude the accident hurt his stardom.
Ren wrote too
This was my favorite song back in the day
the d.o.c no one can do it better album
Almost got 30K before today, let's do it before Feb.✅. Same sample can be found with, SWV feat Snoop Dogg=Gettin' Funky (1997). both coming from Foster Sylvers' "Misdemeaner" (1973)🔥
Yes I keep checking 28.5 already damn man Cool
Nobody has worse luck than the DOC. Google what happened to his throat/voice. And as far as DOC goes, The Formula is my favorite by him. This music I bought when it came out. I can suggest all kinds of old school rap. I’ll start off with one that your vid on jj fad, reminded me of. You liked the beat box. You’ll love The Skinny Boys song Jockbox. Another obscure, awesome old jam is by Marley Marl: The Symphony. Better than Juice Crew’s song of same name. You’re welcome. 🤘🏼
D.O.C. was an NWA ghostwriter with Cube, then he went on to ghostwrite for a bunch of artists after he lost his voice.
This song was a sample from a song called "misdemeanor" by a group named The Silvers
Not the group The Sylvers, just Foster Sylvers.
@taneshah.1260 yep, you're right
Leon Sylvers did this beat. Look him up!
yes DOC was part of NWA
