The flaw of humanity is essentially boiled down to us always doing what we're told not to do

Problem is we are told not do anything that is pleasurable or fun.

@@fitsumgarredew9624 There’s hundreds of ways to have fun and get pleasure. Try friendship or buy a board game. Fornication and drugs aren’t the only way to “pleasure ” yourself.

The way you’re presenting it makes God appear as if he needed to learn. If God had to learn, then he doesn’t know all things. If he doesn’t know all things he isn’t omniscient.

This video is essentially made for children, as you would guess from the tone of Fr Maggos in telling the story. But Fr Maggos provides the generally accepted Orthodox interpretation of the Original Sin.
There are other ways to present the Orthodox view on the Fall, depending on the audience.

If god was all knowing he cant be good. He knew adam and eve would eat from the tree because of the snake but he made the snake anyway and put the tree inside the garden. He could have put it outside of the garden if there was no people.
from there he knew because of it he would be sending people to hell but did nothing to prevent it when he knew what would happen.

It would be God's fault. Being all knowing he knew what would happen and he went through with the plan anyway creating the tree and the snake.
This show god wanted to send people to hell to be tortured.
He could have put the tree outside the garden or not have a tree at all. Maybe do away with the temptation and not make the cunning snake if he knew what the snake would do.
Or is he not all knowing and had no clue?

Yes God is all knowing actually He's sovereign. But then God did not want to impose His will on man,He wanted him to freely choose whether to obey Him or not.And remember this is not just a normal snake,,this is Satan and Satan was a fallen angel even before man was created...Satan since he wanted to be like God was out to attack this man created in the image of God to have him disobey God so that He would win against God.
But yes man fell He failed to freely obey God,,,seemed like the devil was winning but look at what God does...he found a way to save man from his own sin through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross but even then he gives us the power to choose...we choose whether to believe or not to believe Jesus.....so at the end of the day it's not God's fault...it's man who chooses not to obey

@@lispermurithi4809 That goes out to window because god hardened pharaoh's heart and other nations around israel and the desert to come against israel to fight.
Because of that the free will argument is totally out the window because god took away people's free will in the story

@@lispermurithi4809 We know 100% that the creation story is mythology. There was no Adam or Eve, fall of man, or original sin which means there is no need for a savior.
Nothing in the 1st 3 books of the bible have any evidence. the flood story, tower of babel, or the entire exodus story all have no evidence. everything said about the bible god is made up mythology from the start.
Unless you have some evidence for the stories outside of the bible.

God gives us free Will knowing we live in a fallen world ruled by Satan. We have the choice to either obey God or turn from God.
