Dan Williams is inspired by many influences and genres from led zep to John Martyn, Seth Lakeman and more. He has shared the bill/stage with many great artists such as Chumbawumba, The Ozrics, The Blockheads, Sandi Thom, Becky Hill, John Smith, Dreadzone, The Brand New Heavies, to mention a few.
Bassist Ian Wheeler has played with The likes of The Black Rapids, Ned’s Automic Dustbin and many more great acts.
Shire Folk is a multi-strand project to promote arts, artists, audience engagement & development, technical training, digital promotion of artists and venue sustainability across rural communities… which is quite a lot!
Shire Folk is bringing some of the UK's finest emerging talent of the folk scene to the Marches region. Each month, Shire Folk is touring an artist for 3 days to exciting venues in Hereford, Ludlow and Bridgnorth. Each mini-tour is supporting an artist you may have never had the opportunity to see before, but will be someone you will definitely want to see again!
