- Unboxing and testing Acrylic markers by Arrtx #arrtxacrylicmarkers. First I swatch all the colours on black & white paper, then I test them out on plastic, draw on glass, metal and porcelain. It was fun filming this 😊 I hope you enjoy it.

PS: One thing I did try after I've filmed and edited the video is to coat the metal lid with a protective layer for acrylics and it did not scratch off anymore 😊
Прекрасное видео, большая благодарность за твою работу.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Спасибо ☺️
Great video, Leila.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
Great stuff as always Leila! Bought the Arrtx 36 on your recommendation. Super vibrant colors and smooth use and no problem with drying/scrathing Really like them for the price. Thank you friend!
Have fun with them. I definitely did 😆
Hey Flower : - A nice surprise right now..... Checking for a new upload. Always a plus to the day when one pops up out of the blue (I don't want notifications = spoils the "fun"?).
"Riga Gold" Eh? - although thats tea or coffee I'm guessing??, sounds nicely close to Acapulco Gold = A very revered strain of hash (allegedly anyway - from what a friend of a friend of a friend told me....!!?). Highly useful looking pens, not just for artists - but for marking containers, amatuer doodles, and general visual use??.
I was hoping you'd draw/paint a similar pointy green flower/leaf on the jar : - only joking (kinda), I bet It's not your thing at all, **You've Got Stuff To Do/A Business To Run Right.....???!!!**.
Cheers Chuck, lovely to see you happy + having fun with a completley new "toy" - and, also see your wonderfully wild hair on good form (!!). Bye, Nick.
😂it’s not coffee, it’s fish. Really nice one as well - smoked sardines. I like the fish but I also like the jars , they are just the right size 😜
@@LeilaAtaya ...... Riga + Fish? = Of Course. I doubt Latvia's capital grows particularly successful tea or coffee - not really the ideal climate (understatement??!). I remember seeing an English bike racer/mechanic hero of mine - Guy Martin - visit a huge old food hall in Riga, when he visited his Grandads family over there, making a little documentary about the trip..... I'm sure he bought some of the "famous" pickled herring?. I'm like you - more of a smoked mackerel or Kippers person. I'm also a "stasher" of useful, reuseable tins and bottles : - Great for keeping nuts/bolts/washers etc. in.
Bye for now Leila x
From a distance they look like regular markers. It looks okay on the white paper but I’ve seen other acrylic markers perform better on black paper. It does help when you use watercolour paper. This doesn’t absorb the paint that much. 😊
The white paper is for mixed media. The black paper is for writing, it’s not as thick. I liked most colors better on the white. They will probably absorb more into the watercolor paper and dry faster too. Especially if it’s cold press
@@LeilaAtaya when I use Arches hotpressed paper with water the paper doesn’t absorb the water very fast. I can ‘play around’ with the medium. Maybe because it’s 100% cotton? 🤷♀️ Mixed media paper and I aren’t a match. We don’t like each other very much 😂
Because the markers have paint in them maybe a canvas would be better?
I’m very intrigued by the different kinds of paper. And which medium goes with which paper. Alcohol markers does well on really smooth paper and pencils need tooth. So which paper can someone use if they want to use both? That sort of questions pop up in my brain all the time 😂
@@Art_by_Nicole they would definitely work well on canvas! 😊mixed media paper is a bit different. The one I was using has quite a bit of sizing on top so it’s not absorbent. I actually have a testing tutorial on it. It’s quite different from w/c paper both cold or hot pressed. I’ll see if I can add a link to it in the comments. It’s pretty cool that you are really into paper and painting grounds. Many people don’t even imagine how much what you work on affects how the paint looks. I find it’s all in experimentation. You always want to test your art media on the type of paper you like using. Sounds like you’re doing all the right things ❤️
Here is the mixed media tests. ruclips.net/video/AF-bPqFRTUs/видео.htmlsi=PEUH0Tccb7QyfCbx
@@LeilaAtaya thank you so much! I will watch this one 🤩 I found an onorthodox solution for coloured pencil and wet media. I’m working on a butterfly which is sitting on a flower (pretty detailed) all with coloured pencils. The background would be very streaky if I would use the same medium and it would take me forever. So I cut out the main object and put it on Arches paper. In that way I can use my Neocolor II for the background 😂
I probably should wait until the end of the video to ask this Leila but im too dazzled by seeing these and cant contain myself! How much are these? Would love to get my hands on some 😊 🖼 🖋
The links are all under the video 😊 I'm still testing them out with different things even after the video LOL
@@LeilaAtaya Thanks! I couldn't believe how well they show up on simple things like plastic bottles! I might redecorate my gym flask with some colours 😂
@@FreeThinkAlways 😆 that sounds like a fun project. You might need to varnish it if you want it to be permanent. Otherwise you can do a new picture every week
