San Francisco 49ers Defense Highlights.
Pressure on the QB even with 2 Pro Bowlers on that Saint's O-Line. It's been awhile since I saw Drew Brees look uncomfortable.
Tight secondary coverage and discplined understanding of routes.
Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers!
Miss having justin smith. He was a beast
most talented Defense to not win a superbowl in history!
49ers had the best linebackers in nfl
Still do. Bowman rn is like the top leader in tackles and wilhoite be up ther too
Man, this feels like so long ago now. Thank you for uploading this DBnine40. Brings back some great memories.
Jed York ruined everything.
projectNERV when did he start owning??
@@MonarchACE7 That year
After the offseason we've had so far, I've decided to relive some of the past few years and start with this video I uploaded. Crazy to think it's been viewed by almost 100k viewers. Glad to see the Faithful appreciating an elite defense!
+DBnine40 this seems like such a long time ago.
This is the crowd I like! You can feel the energy,I expect a crowd like this every in SF Game
miss justin smith :(
Same here 😭
I remember when the 49ers D was a thing. Such a dominant force that rekt everything. Even picked apart the Packers!
This was a legendary defense undeniable
This defense was fucking NASTY with guys like J. Smith, Aldon Smith, Willis, Bowman, Ahmad Brooks, and Whitner. It's a shame Jed York couldn't keep them all together.
been a true fan since the day i was born never miss a game, feels great to be back!!!!!!
Justin Smith and Ahmad Brooks were so underrated. Carlos Rogers had a career year that season too. A fantastic group, I wish they had a ring to validate their supremacy. They didn't allow a single 100 yard rusher or rushing td until like week 16 or 17 when they started resting players.
i was looking for that sad attempt of a touchdown for the last 3 seconds of the game on a lot of videos but i couldnt find it. thanks man
Why does my heart still pound every time I watch this? So good to have the Niners back where they belong. So excited for next season. "We move on with humble hearts."
This is one of the best defensive performances I've seen. The Saints scoring 32 points against this defence says a lot about their offense.
Damn Whitner knock'em out cold to force that fumble
Awesome video. Thanks for putting this together
Rumor has it that Pierre Thomas STILL suffers from PTSD after that Whitner hit...
We had such a stout defense. It was unbelievable. This game was amazing. Miss the Harbaugh 49ers badly but I think we're gonna do great things next season.
Niner fans should be proud to know we have a great defensive that is very smart, but also a GREAT defensive coordinator in "Lord" Vic Fangio. He is the brains of this awesome defense and with smart players that just ups the awesomeness 10x.
best defense to ever tough the field
this game brought me some major goosebumps man lol
49ers fans, rejoice! You have Jimmy Grappalo and now u have Richard Sherman. The future looks bright for the 49ers and they will be one of the top contenders in the NFC! This is coming from a die-hard Giants fan!
Missing this D. Anyone know where I can download the full game?
DBnine40 ive been looking for this game for a LONG time, so it aint out there trust me
it's on youtube lmao
This was the best game I ever watched.
that hit at the goal line set the tone for the game.
I can see my Bears being this good on defense under Vic Fangio.
I do not believe the word beast gives Justin Smith enough justice. That man is inhumanly strong.
love his upload! Not enough defensive love these days.
man, i love how the niners were able to get pressure with THREE rushers
From 17 years ago? Gettin' old, man. 2011 and 2007 are shiny and new.
Alex Smith had the best season of his career after have 7 different OC`s, found the right coach.Backup: Colin Kaepernick has a cannon and is athletic.
Frank Gore beast HB, 1000 yard season again Kendall Hunter: explosive HB, has a lot of potential. Jacobs: Nice HB inside the red zone. Mario Manningham: through something of a disappointing 2011 season in which Hakeem Nicks established a career high for receiving yards Mario Manningham's stock elevated in the postseason. Randy Moss: deep threat.
Damn, look how in sync this defense was. Miss this...
The greatest game I ever watched
miss this game best one I've ever seen
im so happy we're good again
one of the best defenses of all time. ruthless
Probably a stretch but iI think I'll say this ideas the most exciting game that I've ever seen in my whole life. The crowd at the 'Stick was insane plus all the ups n downs. Just glad we won! Lets go Niners n get it done this year
We also added Lamichael James out of Oregon (a Darren Sproles type of player) and A.J. Jenkins out of Illinois (a speedster with excellent route running skills). Dude you have to admit the niners are stacked this year. Yeah Alex Smith is our biggest question mark guy and who knows with Moss but I'm thinking the niners have to be considered among the favorites to go all the way this year. One things for sure; the rest of the NFL is thanking God we didn't get Peyton Manning as well lol.
this def pd for pd was one of the best lineups ever
That defense was fuckin savage
So glad the the defense is intact for next season!
Been a niner since i came out of my mom, 94 issue and superbowl baby.
Been a long time coming but we got this superbowl 13' champs.
What a Dominating Defense! 49ers forever
I've been a die hard Titans fan since '99...but this team's defense and running game reminds me so much of the dominant Titan years...the 49ers defense and running game is going to be sick this year and I dnt see anything less of a Super Bowl appearance for them...let alone the addition of Randy Moss...
Jed York knows what he’s doing now.
Also the 9ers still have a beast of a running game in Gore/ Hunter, and lets not forget Vernon Davis and Crabtree....
Still watching this playoffs 2013-2014
this game seems like decades ago :(
3:12 that awesome block
4:30 look at Justin Smith's energy before the snap, and Aldon bullrushing the O-lineman
Nice compilation
I love watching the Bounty Hunting Saints getting humbled
What an incredible game.
Where is the video of this with remember the titans music playing and edits of fans reaction to each play? it was the coolest video ever, and now its been removed it seems
49ers wins everyone goes nuts
sew4252 Omg thank you so much!!!!
Justin Smith was unreal that game... Seriously
Can only watch this now.... The 9ers are now a complete joke
Man we had the best defensive in 2011-2012
That hit from Dante Whitner was the hit of the season... KO'd that suckah!! Looked like Dan Bunz on that play!!
Offsides DL and DB 1:27, Offsides DL 3:01, Offsides DL 4:02, Neutral zone infraction 5:38 DL, Offsides 7:46 DL. Niners D is dominant, but the Refs totally failed that day. Game is done, doesn't matter anymore, but I just wanted to point out the ref fails.
Willis is a beast. As good as RL was in his younger days.
Aldon Smith should have won that defensive rookie of the year award. That was so stupid that Von Miller won. It was a popularity contest.
Great game. As a Hawk fan, Alex Smith was more intimidating than Kaep.
Yes and you missed the part where we lay your RB out and Brees running for his life. LOL!
Look at the pancake from Whitner to the Saints receiver at around 3:12
Look at that bullrush by Justin Smith at the bottom of the screen beginning at 6:42
Actually, the 49ers and Giants both have four wins against each other in the playoffs.
49ers beat the Giants in the 1981, 1984 and 1993 NFC Divisional Playoffs and the 2002 NFC Wild Card Game while the Giants beat the 49ers in the 1985 NFC Wild Card Playoffs, 1986 NFC Divisional Playoffs and the 1990 and 2011 NFC Championship Games.
Aldon Smith gets through two linemen like they weren't even there. @4:05
@EffingYourMother shouldnt you be coloring in your color book right now?
that last play was illegal, it was a forward pass beyond the line of scrimmage
So Epic, i bet that game could be better the Packers vs 49ers playoff game from last week.
this was my favorite game
man in the first half the defense was all over the place
Donta Whitner set the tone for rest of the game.
And the Saints defense gave up 36. That's even worse. And allowed two Red Zone TDs out of four attempts to a team that was ranked 30th in red zone TD percentage.
this is not a summary, this only shows tha positives. Many negative plays crucial to the game were left out, meaning this does not summarize the Niners' entire defensive perfromance.
P.S. this is a niners fan, not a disgruntled saints fan.
man 49ers defense is awesome. The saints should not even have scored 32 points if the 49ers had a real offense that at the very least ate up the time of possession.
New Orleans possesed the ball longer than the 49ers did at 31:20 and 28:40 respectively.
To put it in perspective. The giants limited the Pats to 17 points.
Their Time of possession?Giants 37:05. Pats 22:55
The pats would have undoubtedly won SB 46 if they had a real defense that could give brady the ball back faster.
They scored 36 so I guess we all missed the part were the 49ers scored 35.
Best Defense in the NFL- Watch out for Cam Johnson too!!
Man wish our defense was still this good :\
@1:01 Pierre Thomas was seeing #31 the rest of the game.
Considering having the one of the toughest schedule this year it would be next to impossible. If you consider Alex Smith throwing the ball to the ground kicking ass then yes LOL. Your playing against the Saints, Packers, and Patriots on the road. Good luck..
Not when we have Harbaugh as our head coach. I'm sure Brees is still having nightmares from this game. lol!
@m8cct I don't gore making open field catches and run for the TD. He had a 66 yard one on the niners
just finished watching a video of the 32 ranked defense spear brees, and them spear ingram to the ground en route to a 42-34 loss for the saints.
Crabs is a great slot WR, probably gonna draft a WR too or Coby Fleener. TE Vernon Davis: BEAST. Deleanie Walker: dual threat TE. LT Joe Staley great blocker LG Mike Iupati is up and coming C Jonathan Goodwin nice center RG probably Kilgore, a lot of potential or draft one. RT Anthony Davis Another up and coming O-line
"But how did the Saints get their asses smashed? they lost by a last second touchdown."
You do not have to get beat by 42 to get "smashed" thats called blown out. In football we consider being physically beat up (no matter the final score) getting smashed.
goddamn i miss this team
thanks!
Forward progress was ruled when Donte Whitner hits the Saints and caused the ball to fumble. Seems contradictory in the playoffs with NYG with that forward progress that would've gave the niners the ball.
holy combo @03:55
after the defense was tired, but nice moral victory I guess
I also missed the part where the 49ers scored 35.
7:03...
Brees: look a man wide open!
Justin Smith: Da fuck u goin bitch!!??
Whitner's block at 3:12
Damn. five turnovers and it was still a close game
@43 seconds Greg Williams says.... They don't have to even pay him extra to lay the wood wish he was on my team
4:36 look at the O-line man that was supposed to be blocking Justin Smith lol ! he doesnt even know where his man went WOW.
LOL 3:12 Deverry Henderson getting the shit blocked out of him after getting a deep ball taken away from him.
Oh yea and NaVorro Bowman, Aldon Smith, the young beasts on our defense that are only getting better
Come on "In Why". I understand a win is a win, but come on you gotta hold some sort of pride and dignity that makes you uncomfortable about that play.
