I personally think VP vs VP debates are of less importance and meaningless at times than having the actual presidential candidate on the stage. Since there's only one President and one Commander-in-Chief, it would be more constructive and advantageous for the public's benefit to have 3 debates as follows: (P) president candidate; (VP) vice-president; 1 debate; P vs P and 2 debates; VP vs P from each party. For example, Trump vs Harris debate; Vance vs Harris debate; Walz vs Trump debate. In addition, I would cut back on the moderators question pool and allow the debaters to ask each other questions in a given period of time. Unfortunately, the moderators today have been biased at times in their own question pool and to whom they are addressed. You understand??
