me too, my only questions is:
1. Can solo well?
2. will NCSOFT nerf??
1.It can solo just fine if you know how. You can freeze mobs infinitly.
2. SF isn't OP, there's no reason to nerf (except the DPS is kinda really high)

This class just looks way to cool, I can't wait till this comes out in NA
Tip: Starting the fight with force stance, use V+RB for 3 sec(to accelerate RB)=>Z (more critical chance/critical damage)+use RB till Z have 2-3 secs left(also use 2+3 while in frost stance) =>change immediately to martial stance and use V + hold F
Double V burst is way better. Later FM stance is very weak compared to KF stance.
Agree, but when I trigger Z I always change back to force stance for V+RB, I don't want to lose the 15 Chi buff
before the 5 stage inner run out, change back to KF stance and do double V burst, because dragon fist F will make that 15 chi buff become useless. one thing i want to ask you, dragon F in force stance when 5 inner stage, sometimes i can hit boss/mob with conclusive hit, total 9 hit i think, sometimes i can only hit it with 3 hit and it stop even 3 sec haven't run out yet, I didn't get it @@ (Sr my bad English xD)

First of all, really nice PVE guide. Really liked it!
Now i have a few questions if you dont mind.
1. You use Kingfist in both builds. So is the skill worth getting in advance? Is it quite necessary for CM or is the difference with skill/without skill reather minimal? Because now it is fairly cheap and will most likely rise shortly before release so i though of getting it now.
2. What are the next legendary skills after kingfist? (yeti+asura+pellet one)

1. I use Kingfist because i'd like to burst large amount of DPS fast. You don't really have to unlock it, the unlocked skill only deals ~ 10% more damage. But sure, if it is cheap right now and you can afford it without any trouble then go for it. I think it is the best skill for both PvE and PvP.
2. The most important skill that you have to unlock playing CM is the RB Kungfu Stance (with Asura Ember + Ice Stone). With the skill you can stack 5 inner power in 10-13 sec and turn Kingfist combo into your main DPS combo.

So i have one question .. you have all these combo setups in same time.. or u switch them according to what u need. I don't have a SF so i have no idea. But its just cool and made me thinking about making one.
I don't think good groups need a Chi Master because they don't need heal or revival. Most groups choose damage classes no "wanna be healer" ;) But hey thanks for the video man was interesting.^^

Do you actually have PvP videos? I really would love to see SF PvP guides against the different classes for there are literally none existing. I mainly play Battlegrounds by the way.
Furthermore, SF are consistently in all rankings pretty low compared to the other classes, like at least 70 rankpoints below others and usually the best SF is like ranked 50th or worse.
What I want to say is that we SF really need some PvP guides and some help in that regard to learn and to understand how to fight all the different classes.
Other classes feel so overwhelming, with endless reflects, blocks, and other defensive measures while dealing sick ton of damage while SF feels like a semi-support with insane weaknesses against some other classes.
Well i don't do PvP much and i don't think i'm good at it so i won't make a guide, at least for now. SF is really OP in PvP if you know what you're doing, because SF won world tournaments twice and got PvP heavily nerfed in the most recent skill patch in KR BnS. You can look for tournaments matches, for in Jaesung's channel to learn how to PvP.
yo thnx alot for the video , was really looking forward something like that about the CM but couldnt find any . cant wait to test it out on Eu , have a couple of questions if u dont mind answering
1- how effective CM in parties ? will u be rejected in random parties ? will u be a heavy weight if u run with clan / friends ?
2- how effective the ranged stance is in terms of dealing dmg ? can u do deal some dmg if u keep that stance ? or u need to mix between melee/ranged (talking about me - cuz sometimes i just cant stay in melee forever due to lags in crowded areas and so)
3- if u can put the CM on the ladder of the high dps classes , where the CM would be ? as far as i know first is FM followed by Sum then WL " talking about only rangeds here " , can the CM be any way near them or he falls back in terms of dealing high dps ?
sry ik i asked alot , but im saving every thing i have to use once the class is out , and i rly dont want to feel that i wasted my gold / mats / time on the class , however i really like it alot but if i wont be able to do grouped pve then maybe i wont bother making it

1 - CM is a 100% support class, like a medic that can deal average DPS. I never had a problem finding party for endgame dungeon in BnS TW. CM is just as effective as any other classes, with alot of CC skills, healing and reviving. But if you ask, do people really need CM in the party? The anwser is probably no, because in PvE, a good party won't need any revival.
2 - Force stance can only maintain high DPS as long as the V skill is in effect (10-12s). So when V skill is on cd, you can't DPS very well. That makes CM a melee class.
3 - CM can deal max DPS very easy, but no, the class isn't anywhere near the top. But generally, CM can deal higher DPS than all other melee classes except Sin, imo. In the end of the day, CM is just a medic.

Great Video, Learned alot from it. Question, Would it be better to run Burning tundra or whirlwind? BT with 3 casts seems like more DPS but WW with one cast would mean more time in KFM stance. I'm thinking WW might allow for more casts of Kingfist/FrostStorm over a given time frame.
For NA content, fm stance deals as much dps as Kf stance, so staying on fm stance isnt a bad thing. But i would prefer ww on early HM level because it doesnt require much skill points, perfect for clearing mobs, and still deal high dmg. I still switch between those 2 depends on the dungeon.

OP whats the rhythm of the ani-cancel? LB/RB--LB/F? which gives the most dps? I feel like i have to double tap F if i do the LB/RB--F. Which gives more dps? the 4-hit or the 3-hit combo?

Hey man, I REALLY like my KFM. But I'm starting to get depressed playing with 230ms ping (230 in cross server dungeons or pvp, 160ms in open world content). Should I stick with it or switch to soul fighter when it gets released in EU. In other games switching is not a problem, but in BnS the thought leveling a new main and GEARING it up to what my KFM is at makes me want to cry. I know Soul Fighter is the better option thanks to my shifts ping for this game but I would need to get atleast 1000G to gear it anywhere near what I need for Asura in current game economy. FeelsBadMan
+kingzor3000 With that horrible ping , in my oppinion, you can't play any class effectively. So just go for any class that you feel comfortable with, because your gear won't matter much anyways with that ping.

I'm not really sure for NA/EU contents now, but later content SF sure to have hihger DPS than KFM. Actually one of the highest according to KR players voting.

Of course i built my skills by myself. Don't use recommened builds, they are derpy. Also the "Current build" in the description of this video is outdated. You can find my real current build in the newest video.

Well, i binded 2->RB and vice versa, but i get what you mean. Ofc i pressed R2RF it with a right rhythm. Anyone spam buttons and think they are cancelling is just ....wrong.
Hey why do you forgo points in straight fist? Is it because it doesn't mesh well with right fist? I've seen that doing the normal left right combo is slower than straight fist-cobalt punch, but has more consistent ironshoulder procs.
I didn't forget. The ice combo don't need any points on straight jab.

Hey there, I'm looking at maybe rolling a SF soon on NA/EU next week. I'm hearing things that apparently no one needs a SF, or wants one in their parties. I want to reroll from a WL to a SF if I like it, but we will see if my static wants me. We have a FM, ME a WL, KFM and a Sin.

How do you rebind lmb and rmb?
I try to rebind it by clicking lmb and rmb when rebinding a key but it doesn't register :S. I can't change them.
Like how do you put cobalt punch on 2 for example?
I just rebind it on the settings menu. Maybe your client have a problem? :P

Ice is much much better. For both stances and Iron Shoulder.
in the video you said earth does more dps than ice. what makes Ice much better compared to earth? Is it because you don't lose your chi level that easily as you do with earth?
Also do you have a crit % value for us for when we should switch to ice build? Currently I'm constantly chi starved if I try ice

hey question, what are you thoughts on the soul fighter changes currently on the KR test server? any buff / nerfs?
Nothing much. KR nerfed some CC abilities that applied to all classes, not just SF. SF get a new skill for grabbed enemies, i haven't gathered enough info to know if the skill is good or not. SF also get a new buff, but i think it's not good enough to replace the HP buff.

Yes, it is unlocked with Asura Ember + Chilling Stone. And yes, it is one of the must-unlock skills. You should unlock it as soon as you can. I unlocked it as soon as i get 120 Chilling Orbs to exchange for the Chilling Stone.

I prefer earth build and now after the update I stack inner power way faster.
Well just play whatever suits you :D It usually takes 10 sec for me the stack 5 inner power with Ice build, while earth is~ 20 sec.
playing des for 6 months i found this an-cancel extremely easy to master, i was certain i was messing up but it was right on after testing dummy. than tried to run record between spaces, Almost same roation besides short break after Cleave on Des you instead add F on SF
don't know why, but I CAN'T STACK ANY CHI with Ice Combo.
that mean when I use F in full bloom status, it doesn't stack any Chi stage ! :(

No, SF doesn't have lifesteal. They survive by.... countering and not getting hit.

I've been playing Earth combo because with Ice I run out of focus. I am at 54% crit chance and I run out of focus before I can 2 + F, so in less than 6 seconds. This makes playing Ice frustrating and awkward. I would love to play it so I can V + F more often and do more damage. What should I do?
Unlocking Rmb with Asura Ember should fix it :P

Well i think this will be your preference. Go with the one you feel comfortably with.

+Othman Almesbah I mean, for short fighting time (like fighting mobs) the Earth Combo seems to deal higher DPS. But for long fights (boss fight), Ice Combo DPM is much higher.

Imo, SF have a really good DPS. Even Korean players think so. But not really as useful as other classes. I think you shouldn't play SF until you already had a strong main character.

anti-cancel is the trade off damage and fun,so you do more damage per sec,but loose all the fun,but if you are the type of people that love numbers,you will still have the fun,sadly i`m not one of them.
but i still love playing SF,and played a little of KFM too :D

Not a tanker class at all. Those BM/KFM must be horrible.

What the fuck is wrong with them? This animation canceling is killing the gameplay. Why is it good for them to let this happen when they design 50 skills and tonns of combos to only make ppl spam 2-3 skill.
