Miniature Horse Named ‘Flirty’ Takes Commercial Flight

- A horse is believed to have made aviation history, and Inside Edition was there for the momentous occasion. Abrea Hensley, 33, suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, which she says is due to childhood trauma. Because she is allergic to dogs, her service animal is a horse she named Flirty. Together, they boarded a plane in Nebraska. It's believed that Flirty's voyage is the first time in U.S. aviation history that a miniature horse flew a commercial airplane. #InsideEdition
I love how there was "Do not pet" signs all over Flirty, but at the airport everyone was petting her anyway lmao

*_No Videos_* this horse settles and ended up sleeping almost the whole entire flight. Also the handler very much prefers driving and only flew for an interview.
I wouldn’t🙋🏽♀️

I have a deadly allergy to horses. If I got on a flight and a horse I could die, especially since it’s a small airtight space.
Well let's hope all the future horses don't screw it up for the rest of them
They let miniature horses fly now? That’s cool 👍
Jason Shipley they should have been letting them. ADA has support dogs and ponies.

It’s unhealthy for horse to lie down for long periods of time. Their weight could crush them.
I feel so bad for this woman that she has PTSD. I hope that she is doing well and I am glad that Flirty helps her feel comfortable!! 😊😊

@@brainsmall That's good to hear. I wish her the best.
Flirty should've gone in the cargo area. Flirty was stressed out the whole time he was there in that confined space. It was actually the owner giving Flirty emotional support throughout the whole flight 😅 best to just send it to cargo and pay the pet fee.
Awe...how cute and potty trained too! The little horse was well behaved, maybe these cray cray adults can learn from the little fella! 😂

Miniature horses can indeed be service animals under the ADA. This here is an excellent example of how awesome service horses can be!!!

For being a service animal this lady is sure chill about people touching it and taking pictures and all
RoyalKooky she was most likely being polite for the video as the vest does say do not pet
She is a liar
This lady shops at my place of work. She yelled at me that I petted or touched her horse. I have autism and I have like to feel things. I touched it in the past just to see what it felt like but this time I didn’t touch it I just walked by. She was rude and accused me of something I didn’t do today- touching it even though I did it in the past. How rude! I was so upset about being accused of something I didn’t do so I cried. Just because you have a service animal doesn’t mean you can be rude.
Imagine one person with a disability not understanding another person with a disability. If you did it before, you likely did it again. She knew you did it and told you to stop. Big deal.
2:10 I thought you were gonna say she handled it like a boss but “experienced traveler” was even better
And then we have Karen’s “little angel” who’s been screaming nonstop for the whole 8 hour flight

Curiosit y actually Flirty is trained to block and cover Abrea that’s one of my service dogs task as well it’s a way of creating space between you and other people.

The ADA protects minis as service animals. It's not unreasonable at all.
