My mom actually saw me playing this game, and is familiar with the story. So she comes over and asks if she could play. It surprised me, because she's never interested in video games... so I let her, and she killed a Strider on one of her first tries just by whacking the hell out of it with heavy melee. Good job, mum.
The scene when little Aloy jumps across the big gap and turns into big Aloy gets me Misty all the time. The camera shot and the music on that moment is just really good.
Heavy Rain and Until Dawn would be good for your format. You could assign eachother characters and take turns playing them from chapter to chapter. It's what I did with my friends, they make for great party games.
This was enjoyable to watch. I'm glad you are a Horizon fan/player. That's all I've been playing for the last 2 months. I'm 45 hours in to Forbidden West. When I first started this game on Steam version a couple months ago when I saw Rost come out of the cabin, I thought wait a minute is this God of War, because he reminded me of Kratos.
Love this thing you've done with someone who don't know nothing about. This new technologies ... Just love it... I want to do the same with my nephew Wich is diferent as teaching older ones, but when someone doesn't understand much about this things but the story of this game is awesome to lock someone to the experience and get better 🤭🤭🤭 and I'll do the same ... Thank u for do this because I think everyone needs to have fun with new technologies and this game is just wonderfull for that ... Cheers for all of u ... Have fun ❤️ be happy
The first time I played it, I didn't notice how he said "it belonged to my daughter" or the implication of it. Having beaten the game and learned Rost's back-story makes re-watching the intro mean so much more!
I bet they'd enjoy the Uncharted games too. My sister has no interest in video games, and shes in her 40s. But she loved watching my cousin playthrough them to see the cut scenes. There are some great videos on YT called "Uncharted movie" and they have the cut scene entwined with just the small right amount of gameplay so it flows and makes sense. I am sure they exist for Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy also at this point.
beyond two souls has a decent story, the twist at the end made the average majority of it decent. but the story of the witcher series isn't comparable, thats like comparing the Legend of Zelda story with The Lord of The Rings series.
Also, if either of them struggle with camera movement in the future (i.e. looking up and down in specific) then try inverting the vertical axis in the controller settings. Sometimes it can help people who aren't accustomed to controlling a camera with a stick.
I'm absolutely sure about that. I've been binge-watching The Last of Us scenes the past couple of days and I'm not ashamed to admit I've cried on multiple occasions.
The transition from kid Alloy to young adult Alloy is one of the most beautfully done scenes ever.
I agreee🥺❤

Mom and Kimmy looked like they wanted to Aloy a hug when she fell into the cave.

Telltale games would be great for you to play together because it's all about the story and making decisions. There's a GoT one that's really good!

Wish they continued with this
Ohhh nice! The story in this game is the only one that can compete with the Last of Us (in my opinion)
Boondock witcher 3 beats them boat. I'd say it goes witcher 3, last of us, horizon and bioshock infinite
I love Witcher 3. But that isnt fair, thats a story based on books, these stories came straight from the game =p But I cant disagree with ya that hard
Beyond: Two Souls is nowhere, and i mean NOWHERE on the level of ANY of the games we just discussed. Its an average game.

@@AKABoondock19 The story of the Witcher 3 is not based on the books.
They are new to games? You are setting the standard high with this one. Outstanding game
They did so great! Better then my sisters trying my video games! Lol they stick to Wii so at least we can do that together.
This is great! What a shared experience.
Of course you love this game.
And I do, too.

Definately do a play through of TLOU! Would be great! =D
Did they ever play the rest of it!
