Love the Yeezys and they are a staple to sneaker history and I still wear them, because they're not only connected to the culture and style, but the comfort is unmatched. So absolutely still wearing.
Hell no I’ve gotten more Yeezys, I’ve spend more money going back getting Yeezys thanks any Nike product since October November. I wear Yeezys more than all my Nike shoes. Tired of shoes from 80’s 90’s like the new designs of Yeezys.
I have one pair of statics that I only got because they were $150 with tax and shipping. I have a few adidas track suits and hoodies/ sweats and I wear them as my running errands shoes. When I have to go do laundry, go to the grocery store throw on an adidas track suit and Yeezy 350 to do errands and chores in comfort and style
I felt like this yeezy 350 is really good with skinny jeans and slim sweatpants. The trend this time is more on straight fit to baggy fit, so it feels off if you're not wearing a slim/skinny fit.
Wave runners are the only pair of Yeezy sneakers I’ll still wear (debating what to do with all my other pairs) - Yeezy slides are my main indoor slipper pairs though
Respectfully the declining hype over the years is certainly plays into how you see them. I agree with your take on the on bland color ways they kept pumping out as Kanye seemed to keep getting further detached. But for a sneaker you thought was fire at release, was a regular in the rotation in multiple color ways to how you view them now, declining hype would have to be a factor
I agree 100 percent. Yeezy is dead. The shoes only look good with joggers, and joggers are currently on their way out. Not a timeless shoe like a NB 990
I’ve been a Sneakerhead since 19 I’ve collected DC’s, Vans, and Jordan’s. When I bought my 1st 350 v2 wow!! I didn’t know how comfortable they were. Soon as Yeezy and Adidas did a whole lot of releases and re-release I collected almost every color and some 700’s as well. I like some colorways that suites me well with my fashion and will keep them don’t really care what people think and don’t care the controversy behind yeezy I care for my comfort and how I feel wearing a pair of sneaker.
Yeezys and UltraBoosts had a death grip on sneaker heads and streetwear as a whole. Those paired with the zipper pants and elongated drawstrings. What a time.
Similarly, I’ve held on to a few pairs that I felt were momentous releases in the shoe game. OG turtle doves, OG belugas, wave runners, and static 700 2.0. All of em are more for casual errand runs because of comfort
I still have a lot of them, and though they are not what they used to be, I still like to wear mine. They are comfortable still. For the broke HS/college student I was when these were the juice, I guess having a 'big boy' job and obtaining them for way lower is doing that old me justice. I don't go around getting every shade of cream but the unique or iconic ones imo like the Desert Sages, Zyon, Zebras, etc. Unfortunate how the relationship fizzled, but there really isn't anything out there design wise like yeezys.
I feel the same way. Sorta. My yeezys don't match the way I dress now BUT it's weird to think these may not ever release AGAIN. I don't want to get rid of something that won't be produced ever.
That’s certainly fair from a collectors stand point, my thoughts are more so from someone that wants to wear all his sneakers. And if they’re sitting in a box for years, I’d rather have the money. The appeal of something never being made again is cool tho!
When I was in Elementary School the top shoes were Yeezys and this is before Jordans and Air Forces became popular and when I was in 2nd and 3rd grade people would argue what is better Yeezys or Air Forces and now in 2023 I have not seen a Yeezy worn since and me and my brother both sold our Yeezys and overall I think Yeezys are not as good as they once were.
I’m at a similar stage in my life, where I’m glad I have 350s and a few other Yeezys that I bought over the years, because when I was in high school and they were fist coming out it was so hard to get, and I couldn’t afford them, so the last 3 years as they’ve done massive restocks and releases , and I’ve started to work and make money I’ve gotten a few. But I just don’t find my self wearing them nearly as much in 2023, like 2020 and even 2021 I was always rocking them, but idk now it’s just not really my style
350 always been one of my favorite models ive had multiple pairs. as someone who doesnt have the money to buy a lot of nice shoes i think theyre comfy easy to wear and its nothing too crazy. Perfect for me but i mostly just wear 350s and dunks im basic.
I think there are so many colorways of Yeezys because they originally wanted to make them accessible. I never bought any Yeezys because the designs were a bit over my head. The Wave Runners are about the only sneaker I’d entertain the idea of having.
Wave runners are my daily beaters and I have 3 on ice - I’ll never get tired of that original 700 And the Onyx CW of the Yeezy Slides are my go to for the summer at the lake and errands
I have the Beluga reflectives and 350 CMPCT bones. I only wear my CMPCT since they are easy slip ons for errands. Also, the baggy pants style returning makes shoes like 350s not an ideal option.
Yeah this is a big factor for me when it comes to wearing my 350s. I still have my Oreos and Beluga RFs deadstock because you end up looking a bit out of place in skinnies. The only shoes I will willingly put on the skinnies for are my City Sock NMDs and my 750s. I will wear them in the summer with some shorts though, they’re perfect for that weather.
I love Yeezys but I agree, it’s difficult to pair it with an outfit nowadays so they stay in a box. I ended up selling my 350s because of it. Sometimes our taste and style changes as we grow.
Still have and wear all my OG Yeezys and don’t plan on ever letting them go. Truth is a lot of people are wearing them less is because of diminishing “hype” and times moving into a new direction. Jordan brand had these downtrend phases in the past but always came back in its fashion. In the future, people will definitely be flocking back to Yeezys once they see the nostalgia factor in them, even more since they no longer produce them.
Just watched the full video Full disclosure: huge Yeezy fan, huge Eddie fan! I still rock Yeezys regularly. I love the designs of the shoes but honestly I never really loved the 350. Most of the other models hold up to me for everyday wear including the 700s, 500s, foam runner, slide. I get that there are maybe more colors on the NB shoes but how can you like the NB 9060 for instance and not the Yeezy 500 or 700? That’s where I’m at! And I like both but wish the NB branding was more subtle or just more minimal in general I personally think the sneaker community is just better when Yeezy is in it but I agree with you there was a true laziness in recent years with the 350 model and 500 specifically. Just a ton of colors that don’t do anything, easy passes. Anyway, love the videos and appreciate your perspective
I still wear my wave runners and 350 oreos. They look good with summer fits, especially shorts. I live in Australia so these are easy shoes to wear for at least half of the year.
I too stopped caring about the Yeezy brand around 2019, when it became obvious Kanye was starting to care less and less about the brand and it was left to Adidas and his Yeezy team to keep it running. I still have the pairs I care about the most, I think its at a total of 8 pairs. The only things I’m still keeping an eye out for is a pair of Pirate Black 350s and Static 700 V2s. Recently got a pair of Chocolate 750s for retails and I was honestly still super excited to rock them like I was back in 2016 when having a pair on would draw attention lol.
I'm like that with Jordan's now I can only wear 1s, 3s, & 4s the rest seem too bulky for me plus I'm a sz 12 so they can look lile some stompers on my feet
Love the content bro…I like to rock my Yeezys still but it’s only a chosen few that I have in the collection . 700 wave runners, bred 350, Oreo 350 , and zebra 350 .
I don't buy fad sneakers or overhyped stuff like this because of this. I do buy wild stuff at times... like the era these yeezy are from I went the other way and scooped twinstrike consortium, then futurepacer after. I still wear both. I only purchase shoes I'm positive I'll wear forever
I stopped wearing Yeezy’s in 2016-2017 Pirate Black 350s was my last Yeezy ever bought or worn…and i have a lot of kicks… nothing to do with Kanye just boost died a while ago for me 🤷🏽♂️
I'm literally collecting the yeezys I missed out on when they was popular. Got me some 500s, qntm and the 700s all well under retail in the passed 6 months.
I now only keep 4 - a 500, 500 high, 700 v1, and 700 v2. Because of how bulky they are, they make great winter shoes, at least for me. At one point, I had I think 6 or 7 350’s, including the zebra, beluga 2.0 and core black. I only ever wore one (the carbon), because I really just can’t vibe with the aesthetic. So now I don’t have any of those anymore.
i’m in the same boat, closet full of shoes and all i wear now are my vans lol. i WANT to wear them, they look good when i see other people wearing them, i just don’t have that true urge anymore.. but still holding on.
I like YZY line and I have a few but I just don’t think it’s a sneaker line that aged well like a Jordan, Nike, NB, etc etc. There’s no longevity with them I feel like they only cater to one look/style I fight myself on if I should let them go or not.
For me I thought they looked good on other people with a specific style but I didn’t like them with my outfits either .. for me they looked too much „fashion“ if that makes sense and not like a normal sneaker 🤷♂️ didn’t like any of the Yeezys
Back then, I really only liked the 350 silhouette. I still kind of do, in fact I still have a pair of zebras. Those were definitely my favorite colorway of the 350 and was one of the shoes that drew me into sneakers. I was indifferent to Kanye at the time so I really just judged the Yeezy line by the look of the shoes themselves. They were definitely a trend that stuck around, but I think their time has come, even ignoring the Kanye controversy.
I’ve been in the sneaker game a long time, since I was a kid in the late 80’s and early 90’s, and I’ve never liked Yeezy’s. I’ve never understood the hype and obsession with them?! I’ve always thought Kanye was a dumbass any way lol.
Can’t tell you the last time I wore any of mine. I sold a ton of my 350’s. Prior to the whole Yezzy controversy too. They made their impact on a moment just like Ultra Boost and NMD’s. With the exception of the Nike Yezzy’s the rest are a wrap.
I feel you on the do they fit our current style aesthetic. At the same time though I still like to dress like the 2015-2017 era. Maybe not piece for piece but something that complements the Yeezys I own (350s majority). I just got turtle doves this year and they’re a grail for me, but at the same time I know they don’t go with everything in my closet or my current style.
Had 3 pairs and sold them. I truly think Wave Runners are a great sneakers and 700s are a great model. I think a lot of Yeezys are good sneakers but for the most part only really look good with sweatpants lol.
I have so many Yeezy’s I forgot what I own and still bought 4x 350’s this year. Last week I brought my entire collection downstairs to photograph them because I’ve decided to start wearing them. I was surprised to see I have 43 pairs.
As a middle aged heavier set dude now, Yeezys just don’t go with my fits anymore. 95% of the time I’m wearing cargo shorts a collared t shirt and some sneakers for work. 350 v2s look especially dumb with shorts so I don’t ever wear my triple whites. Mainly rock Jordans nowadays, Only pair of Yeezys I still wear somewhat regularly is my 700 mauves, those were my first ever pair of Yeezys I camped out for so they got sentimental value plus I just think the colorway is unique and not super loud. The triple whites were a gift also which is why I still have them. But yeah, Yeezys ain’t really hittin like that anymore for the most part
I have just 5 pairs of Yeezys. I wear in regular rotation. It’s been thousands of pairs and colour variations lmao and I only own 5. It’s more than enough.
Loved the video Eddie! I’ve been watching your videos since what feels like the beginning of Huf making shoes. Your videos got me back into sneakers especially New Balance and Jordan’s. Definitely my favorite Sneaker RUclipsr of all time!
You are not totally wrong as I have contemplated moving some of my Yeezys as well but for me it isn’t about hype or how they fit my style. I would like to decrease my ownership and just keep a select few. I would ultimately keep a 350 Beluga 2.0, 350 static, 500 all black, and my all time favorite 700 wave runner. The 700 Waverunner is a top 10 sneaker all time! The only sneaker I have doubled up in my collection.
Interesting you make a video like this, I’m still buying n reselling Yeezys just as if i were reselling Jordan’s so I think there definitely not the most popular shoe right now but in 20 years I think it will be considered classic and yes they also remind me of 2016 when they were the game and seeing tons of people wear them, it was a great moment when I finally could get something I wanted for so long, yes my comment was long but anyways W video
I haven’t bought anymore Yeezys, I sold most of them, but I can’t sell the Wave runners and TDoves those twos are staples and they will never leave the collection
i screwed my right foot when i was in the Army back in 2001. i still bought jordans and around 2009 my foot started acting up and by 2015 i wore nothing but stuff that was comfortable and stuff the doctors recomended. i stopped buying jordans but had almost 150 something pairs by the time 2015 came around. like you said it doesn't fit your life now and what i did was sell them all, something i thought i'd never do, basically i am saying sell them off, we might have joined the reseller culture but it wasn't for profit but for life just changing. old me now sticks to New Balance and that's how life changed
Sold all my Yeezys. Best choice I ever made. I had 4 pairs. Took that money and bought shoes I actually wanted to wear. Not hype shoes. I learned a lot about what I like, and not like because it’s “hype”. I think for me personally, from all the Yeezy craze I don’t frankly enjoy them as much as I told myself I did, nor do I think they look good on me, or help elevate my style. Just a walking price tag shoe. Obviously, this is MY opinion and to each their own- but I just won’t give into hype shoes anymore like I did with Yeezys. If they are not for me, and don’t match my personality, I’m not going to buy them anymore. In all honesty, they are ugly from another person’s view. We just pushed through and forgot because of the hype and high demand that they were made to be. Kim and Kanye wore those shoes like it was life or death. They marketed it as the holy grail. If you didn't have a pair, you had to get one. Regardless of Kim's relationship and the commentary Kanye made. It will still remain a historic shoe even if they fully disappear from the sneaker world.
Wave runners are still one of the goats imo..I still wear mine. N I still wear my inertia n mauve joints. I just run around in them but I still keep em fresh
Ngl I just bought a pair of those 350 v2 Oreo’s. Definitely pleased with em and glad to finally have them in the rotation. I’d probably keep all of those pairs tbh but that’s me.
I am keeping all 13 pairs of my yeezys not because i like Kanye but i love my yeezys. Every time i wear my wave runners people tell me they love my kicks.
*Being able to provide all my needs without the help of the Government is really a dream come through and I’m getting $43,050 returns from my $7k investment*
Quite impressive but HOW!!?😊 I know it's possible, my colleague at work always get 40K every week, I would appreciate if you show me how to go about it.
@@mayaberlinger4861 After I got up to $300k trading with Mrs Bonita Lynn Yetter i bought a new House and I'm now able to send my kids to a better school in the states thanks to her. When someone is straight forward with what he or she is doing people will always speak up for them.
To each is own.....if you want to sell them b/c you're not wearing them, then sell them for something that you would rock. That doesn't make you a reseller. Just makes you like every other person getting rid of something because they have either outgrown it or time has passed a particular item by. I still have a few colorways in my collection and have resold some of them to get a grail, so I don't blame you if you're doing something similar. I just kept the Yeezy 350 and 700 colorways Ye was directly involved with (Zebras, Turtledoves, Static, Waverunners, etc.)
Never going to stop wearing my yeezys. They are still the most comfortable shoe, with the greatest materials, while being aesthetic pleasing.
I swear 2 guade
material are sock like. aesthetically peasant shoe
"I loooove Hitler" - Ye (During Alex Jones Show) 😂
Yeay
Still wearing my Yeezys because they are comfortable! Especially the foam runners !

Yeezys are the greatest shoes ever made, will never stop wearing mines
I still love wearing my Yeezys. I always wear my Wave Runners and MX Rock.
remember the roshe wave??? this is exactly what this is for adidas
I wear them more than ever now. I'm hoping people move on from them completely so the resale prices will come down a bit
Eddie win!! Massachusetts stand up. I switched over to new balance, I haven’t bought a pair of Yeezys in such a long time.
Wave runners are the only pair of Yeezy sneakers I’ll still wear (debating what to do with all my other pairs) - Yeezy slides are my main indoor slipper pairs though
So what you are wearing? Jordans which are like walking on asphalt?
Respectfully the declining hype over the years is certainly plays into how you see them. I agree with your take on the on bland color ways they kept pumping out as Kanye seemed to keep getting further detached. But for a sneaker you thought was fire at release, was a regular in the rotation in multiple color ways to how you view them now, declining hype would have to be a factor
Yep. Dude is just a hypebeast.
Traded my one pair of 350’s very early in Ye’s downward spiral.
I agree 100 percent. Yeezy is dead. The shoes only look good with joggers, and joggers are currently on their way out. Not a timeless shoe like a NB 990

I’m with you. I’ve sold all but 2 pairs of my Yeezys
Yeezys are pure art! They're sneakers I ❤ to look at but never wear. Never thought there would be a brand to rival and even surpass Jordans imo.
nope won't touch em anymore
Yeezys and UltraBoosts had a death grip on sneaker heads and streetwear as a whole. Those paired with the zipper pants and elongated drawstrings. What a time.

I never bought Yeezys since their high retail price
Sold them all but my waverunners and didn’t look back. Haven’t worn the waverunners in probably over a year tho
This guy will go back wearing Yeezy very soon. 😏
700's are still the best to me, especially waverunner. It's a classic
I still have a lot of them, and though they are not what they used to be, I still like to wear mine.
They are comfortable still. For the broke HS/college student I was when these were the juice, I guess having a 'big boy' job and obtaining them for way lower is doing that old me justice. Unfortunate how the relationship fizzled, but there really isn't anything out there design wise like yeezys.
I held on to my yeezys and ultraboosts due to comfort. Style is now secondary to me. Dont have any j's anymore as they are not that comfortable.
I feel the same way. Sorta. My yeezys don't match the way I dress now BUT it's weird to think these may not ever release AGAIN. I don't want to get rid of something that won't be produced ever.

It’s all a cycle of life. You’re absolutely right a few years down the round these will be trending again
Only Yeezy’s I have now are the waverunners and Slides. It was a good run while it lasted
I had the moonrocks 350 v1 after that I knew I didn’t need anymore Yeezys for my feet.
Just watched the full video

I like Yeezy personally
I'm like that with Jordan's now I can only wear 1s, 3s, & 4s the rest seem too bulky for me plus I'm a sz 12 so they can look lile some stompers on my feet
I wear 1s, 3, 4, ,5, 6, and 7. I can’t wear every color tho. I’m pushing 43 and I can fit these into my grown man looks

Wave Runners are a shoe that will be missed. It sucks living a world knowing theres a possibility that shoe never restocks.
Only Yeezys I actually wear with outfits are 700s and desert boots. The 350s only really look good wit gym attire like sweats
I just wore my wave runners to work. I’m a nurse so yezzys are comfortable af in a 10hr shift. They look nice with scrubs!
I sold 13 pairs n kept my Waverunners, n all white/sail 350s

Im keeping that same energy with the Adidas YZY. All the nonsense colourways I never liked but certain or even many colourways is still fire to me
Back then, I really only liked the 350 silhouette.
I agree with everything you said.
Which is exactly why Yeezys specifically 350s are a gym shoe to me
I started to wear what I buy and im learning to not buy impulsively. I loved yeezys though but spending on the shoes, gets crazy.
Wave runners will forever be wearable for me 🌊
I have just 5 pairs of Yeezys.
Sort of how I feel about most of my Jordan that aren’t 3s, even then I just sold two pairs of tinkers
I still wear my wave runners they still 🔥 to me
I no longer wear mine either. I’m slowly getting rid of my pairs.
If you have any size 11s or 11.5s I’d buy them off of you
Still wear them, don’t plan on stopping.
i screwed my right foot when i was in the Army back in 2001. i still bought jordans and around 2009 my foot started acting up and by 2015 i wore nothing but stuff that was comfortable and stuff the doctors recomended. i stopped buying jordans but had almost 150 something pairs by the time 2015 came around. like you said it doesn't fit your life now and what i did was sell them all, something i thought i'd never do, basically i am saying sell them off, we might have joined the reseller culture but it wasn't for profit but for life just changing. old me now sticks to New Balance and that's how life changed
Still have the frozen yellow 350's, waverunners and i actually have a pair of the 450's too but probably will never get rid of them
Sold all my Yeezys.
I'm no way shocked people are ditching Yeezy's because they're not the cool thing anymore.
Ngl I just bought a pair of those 350 v2 Oreo’s. Definitely pleased with em and glad to finally have them in the rotation. I’d probably keep all of those pairs tbh but that’s me.
Most people don't wear yeezys because we're not getting them anymore. But I can't go from yeezy to new balance, and I am TIRED of Jordan's.
I am keeping all 13 pairs of my yeezys not because i like Kanye but i love my yeezys. Every time i wear my wave runners people tell me they love my kicks.
Wave Runners are a classic though-only one worth keeping
Just wore my Wave Runners today lol
*Being able to provide all my needs without the help of the Government is really a dream come through and I’m getting $43,050 returns from my $7k investment*
Quite impressive but HOW!!?😊 I know it's possible, my colleague at work always get 40K every week, I would appreciate if you show me how to go about it.

@@samkim4251 This is exactly what I've been looking for I will message her right away I want to invest ❤️🔥many friends makes lots through brokers
I wear my slides like a house slipper there never not on my feet when I’m home.
The fact that you have to full size up on the newer 350 pairs drives me crazy. They look sooo big on feet imma have to pass
so you won't wear Yeezy's because the "hype", yet you wear Jordan's, the most over-hyped and played out sneaker on the planet? right.
