Leipold did his magic at UW Whitewater only 12 miles from me. He’s a local product. A great DIv 3 school with very nice facilities.
Miracle Worker!
Much respect for Lance Leipold.
RCJH! LANCE IS OUR COACH. KEEP UNDERESTIMATING KU AND COACH LIEPOLD! HE WILL WIN A NC JUST WAIT
Interesting but have to disagree with AS when he says Kansas fans at the game are not *really* into Kansas football. Did he not see the huge Kansas crowd at the 2022 Liberty Bowl? Or the 2023 Guaranteed Rate Bowl? All the sellouts and hear the crowd? In the *old days*, that I would agree. But now it's a whole different ballgame. We just needed a team and coaches to believe in. We have that now. In spades.
I agree, as a KU fan myself fans are really into the game!
@@camdenboyle7551Would you have still imagined the team would have been turned around with Lance Leipold, even if KU wouldn’t have won any Big 12 games whatsoever with the three coaches in between Mark Mangino and Les Miles?
@zeldafan1942 Nonsense question.
Rock chalk. Wouldn't trade him for anyone in the country. I hope he sticks around.
He has said, publicly, several times, in both writing and on camera that he and Kelly love it in Lawrence and want to retire there. Plus, they have a son in high school who loves it there and they don't want to disrupt him. Add to that that LL will turn 60 this year and his retiring at Kansas looks even more realistic. I just hope he doesn't retire early but goes to at least 70!
Only school I could see stealing him would be Wisconsin, if Luke Fickell flakes out
At byu/Provo is not one of the better places to go to play a football game.
ISU at KU will be an awesome neutral site game. While Lawrence isn’t Death Valley, KU has been selling out 45,000.
A "neutral" site game Iowa State is still better than away game, like Kansas was last year against Iowa State. Kansas won that game, again with their backup QB. I really liked Bean, but there was a talent drop-off from Daniels to Bean. If Daniels is healthy Kansas should be favored in that game.
Next year they will be middle of the road team.
No one, no on can make an intelligent comment about next year.
It is true that KU could be losing a lot of players to graduation after this season. I think there are about a half dozen, like JD6, that could return for another year. Nobody knows who’s going to portal out or in, as well as the fact that there are several significant (4*&5*) players who previously portaled in but didn’t contribute due to injury. The current hs recruiting class is likely to be under 20, so there’s a possibility that the next portal class will be even better than the previous ones.
You too call yourself Kansas Jayhawks fans you’re not giving much respect to coach Leippld you guys are not even giving him a chance in his fourth season seven wins that’s all you gonna give this guy seven wins. Do you understand that we’ve been struggling to win games and now that we finally have a coach who went back to back bowl games and now you gonna lost confidence in a legendary coach to seven wins keep on misunderstanding coach Lance keep it up He will win a big 12 championship. Just wait guys like you are not really Jayhawk fans.
