Love the ranking. Martina, I especially love when you do swatches and you have a space between the colours. To me it gives a truer indication of what they look like. 🥰🥰
30 palettes is such a respectable amount! I only purchased a few, but this ranking is still one of my favorite videos to watch ❤❤❤ happy early new year girl. I love seeing your channel grow and thrive! Much love from the Netherlands
Glaminatrix is by far my fav indy brand. They hand make everything and their attention to detail with packaging and color stories is on point! Not to mention their customer service is AMAZING. I have to admit tho my most used palette this year was the viseart sirenese etendu. Truly a perfect everyday color story for me!
The Chanel Nuit quad is no 1 for me. So gorgeous. So easy. I put down a pomade from the DM Groundworks as a primer and then use the quad and it’s stunning every time.
I agree, Glaminatrix is just exceptional and as a brand are just an auto buy for me. I’ve bought some new shades for their blushes and one of the new eye palettes, can’t wait til they get here ❤
I really appreciate this video and have a feeling I'll be referencing it quite often. The swatches are wonderfully helpful and the fact that you've touched on so many luxury brands helps me as I seek to broaden my collection to include more fashion house palettes (their softer, lower intensity formulas are much more user-friendly on mature lids). Thank you for putting this out there for us all. 😘
My favorite video of the year, yay! And agreed, that Glaminatrix was very special. I bought a lot of eyeshadow palettes this year, so couldn’t bear to rank them, honestly (don’t know how you do it!), but I enjoy them all (not a dud in the mix, luckily…mostly due to reviews such as yours ❤). Happy New Year!!! 🎊🎆 🎉xx
I love all the products, I went shopping the other day and bought quite a few things, urban decay, the Nars palette with the blushes and a few eye shadows. Also a few Mac singles. These r my Christmas / New year make up. Love your video, so great. Happy new year also 🎉🎉🎉
My fave palette of the year is the blend bunny longing palette. It’s also now my fave palette in my collection. Quality so good and shimmers outstanding if you like cool tones it is gorgeous.
My content is your eyeshadow vids. I LOVE how much you appreciate nuances with formulas, I too can get just as excited and appreciate a good satin or sheer/buildable matte as people do about color, sparkle & metallics . I adore you and ur critical eye for details, you never steer me wrong❤
I nearly passed on Sireneuse because I thought it would be too warm for me (my secret power is turning all makeup orange), but it's turned out to be one of my favorites out of my entire collection, and I'm getting the most use out of that warm beige matte. I noticed on Viseart's website that they're teasing new Etendu palettes in Lilas and Chocolate, so I'm already looking forward to the review!
I am soooo glad I have all the old ND palettes like Gold, Safari, Sunset, Tropic Metropolis etc. I also love Parick Ta Maj D III over Viseart Neutral mattes which have a few more orange leaning
Thank you for this video! I agree about the DM palette - I wanted to purchase it, but then I realized that I wouldn´t use whole third of the palette - the blue shadows. Although, the earthy ones are right up on my alley...
What a great list that was such fun 😀 I only bought 3 all year this year : ND - mini my dream, INAW, golden : 1- INAW just for the perfect space it filled in my collection as my one and only and all time favorite neutral warm palette I’ll ever need, 2 - mini my dream, 3 golden
I have been wanting that Barely Basics palette since it came out, yet didn't want to pay shipping, yet you just made up my mind. I'm on a no buy next year but it's just the 28th so I'm gonna go for it! TY for the discount code.
Thank you for this video! I so appreciate your swatches. Kicking myself I never picked the Byredo palette because I didn't feel I could justify the price. Every time I see it in a video it is calling my name. I hope it gets back in stock eventually. I think my favourite palettes this year have been the YSL quads - they didn't come out this year but I discovered them in the spring and couldn't stop wearing them (100 and 400 in particular). I'm also a huge fan of the Viseart formula and for my personal preference, the Paris Rêveries has been my dream palette!
Not only appreciate your attention to detail when how casing my first love palettes. 💖 Each extensive ok is spectacular! As a visual learner including watches with looks is the above attitude that puts you in rock star status of beauty lovers everywhere 🎼🎸🥁s💫
Love your ranking and your detailed explanations and inserted swatches! What a shame that it is near impossible to get hold of Glaminatrix palettes over here in Europe (I live in the Netherlands), I surely would have added quite a few to my collection if they were available here! 😢
The ND Roxa palette is the only new palette I bought this year and it ended up being one of my favourites in my collection so am surprised to see it so low in your ranking. I do love colours, sparkles and bright looks rather than neutrals so was one of the few people who actually did not like the I need a nude, warm or golden and also those other natural palettes. I tend to like the more bold palettes, like Xenon is another fave, and also my dream and the previous pink ones like I need a rose and love. I would love to get a Lisa Eldridge palette one day, as she is another favourite brand of mine
Completely agree about Eclat du Nuit and Mineralscapes. The first is Chanel's best in a long time IMO, and I've never owned anything like Mineralscapes. Both are far more versatile than it first seems. I'm glad I own both of them. I also own one of the small Byredo palettes and you are correct; the formula is not the same as Mineralscapes.
Yeah 🎉 fun video. I agree with your number 1. I love it too. I do not purchase much indi but had to have the basics palette and the fairy lights one. Agree with your TF views as I use to be a fan and picked up every eye shadow release. I have not purchased any quads this year. My wallet is happy though. I never know why TF palettes ate more expensive in AUS than the US. The new release is now $100 US which I think is $160 AU. I was paying $165-$175 for quads last year!
It’s shocking to me that 2024 was the year that Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury really fell off for eyeshadow. I can’t recall them being anywhere in the middle to top of people’s rankings - if they were even reviewed at all. They were big players in previous years and I hope they can reinvent or even go back to what they used to produce. (My number one is Adept legend of Ardra - love sparkly neutrals but I do have 3 Glaminatrix palettes coming from their sale so it might be dethroned).
The only new palette I got this year was mineralscapes. It makes me curious about Byredo's oyster palettes, but I hear that their quints are a different formula. *sigh*
If I lost all of my eyeshadow and had to start over, I think I’d buy the mini My Dream and just use that every day. But like you, I have so much eyeshadow, so this hardly gets used.
My first and only purchase from Viseart was Paris Reveries. It was my first impression. I was disappointed in the quality. Looked up on YT to see what my favorite reviewers were saying about it- “crickets”! When I saw your review I finally found a RUclipsr willing to give their honest truth.❤
How Was Your Christmas Cute thumbnail tho Absolutely Beautifully You Are Ur Makeup Always Look Pretty Those Breathtaking Eyes Love Em Hope you Having A FABULOUS Weekend Stay Bless N Be safe Always
@clidrevandijk i think so too. I looked at it the 10th time, but nope - the way several shades are too close to each other is as overwhelming as its size. I'm sure it is great!
Surely you mean they could drop the price by 15-20% not 15-20 dollars?? The prices of most of those quads are outrageous, at least Natasha Denona gives you 15 pans in her palettes, seems more realistic for the price. ... packaging goes in the bin eventually, and until you can take the holder back to the shop and they clean it and put 4 new colours in at a discounted price, saving money and saving the planet, then I just think they are criminally expensive!!!😢😢
liza eldridge. strongly disliked every product i bought. the pallette especially. I was influenced and regretted my curiosity. no woman in my family was interested to take it for free.
Yep agree @glaminatrix did it again this year I too think they are better than mother Pat in so many ways, also back in the day i pretty much only had YSL quads so might have to go have a look again at them.... Happy new year to you Martina 🎉
Man, the prices on some of these palettes are insane. I just can’t imagine spending that on quads. The brands are losing their minds with those.
Omg I LOVE that u included swatches! ❤ appreciate all ur hard work!
Number one?! Whaaaaat! Thank you so much Martina 😍
Love the ranking. Martina, I especially love when you do swatches and you have a space between the colours. To me it gives a truer indication of what they look like. 🥰🥰
Yes, I agree as the eye can't see each colour if they are next to each other as the eye sees a bit of each adjacent colour. xxxx But you do you. ❤
30 palettes is such a respectable amount! I only purchased a few, but this ranking is still one of my favorite videos to watch ❤❤❤ happy early new year girl. I love seeing your channel grow and thrive! Much love from the Netherlands

The Byredo palette is absolutely my top palette! It’s frustrating that it was limited edition, because everyone should have it!
I love and adore the Viseart Paris Reveries!!!! It's so smooth and shiny and beautiful!!!!
Love your channel and your whole vibe, Martina!
The Chanel Nuit quad is no 1 for me. So gorgeous. So easy. I put down a pomade from the DM Groundworks as a primer and then use the quad and it’s stunning every time.

Just have to say I love the numbers in the bottom corner. So useful for keeping track.
Happy new year Martina and everybody

Great video! ND I Need a Warm was my favorite new palette. I just order the Barely Basics palette this week, I can’t wait!
I love your swatches!
Got in from a 6 hour drive, had dinner watching your video. What a treat
Fantastic ranking and I have and love a great deal of these palettes and agree with so many of these choices❤
I so very much appreciate the swatches with every single palette you ranked! It is so helpful. ❤

Love love love the newest viseart palette. I totally waited for your trview before i purchased

Glaminatrix is now on Monolith eu, they are based in Germany so no tax (also from the Netherlands)😉
@ 🙏🏻
I remember the TF video , I physically laughed out loud 🤣
Loved this video! Happy New Year, Martina! ❤
Thank you ❤ Your opinion means a lot

Great rankings. For me Denessa Myricks Light Work VI Freedom palette is the best palette of the year. Happy new year ❌️⭕️

What lipstick are you wearing? It's so pretty

Hi thanks a lot for this video❤.
Furthermore, what do you wear on your lips please?

Unfortunately it seems that the Byredo is LE. I've been curious about their formulas, but have to permanent palettes that strike my fancy.
I hate that the byredo palette was limited edition. 😩
That was great
What? Meteoric was discontinued no?
Someone, Anyone bring on the yellow ochre/mustard neutrals palette in 2025. I hope this is not too much to ask. 🤞✌👃
This stupid Byredo palette is haunting me. I love these colours. But such a huge chunk of palette, ugh!
It could have been condensed in a 9 or 12 pan for sure!
@clidrevandijk i think so too. I looked at it the 10th time, but nope - the way several shades are too close to each other is as overwhelming as its size. I'm sure it is great!
This year was not a palette year in my opinion
Viseart is the best. Must been youm.

I really hope glaminatrix restocks
