These people can get shelter but the hundreds of thousands of veterans and other homeless have to sleep out on the sidewalk or in a tent.

    • @AlEtteso
      @AlEtteso Год назад +1

Agreed. Do you know why? These people are dangerous so they want them all in the same place to better keep an eye on them. They are told it's for their protection, but it's the opposite. It's a step down from jail. The veterans and homeless are treated like stray cats. The offenders are treated like dogs. Do you ever wonder why there are so many stray cats and not dogs? Because dogs are dangerous. They bite. They get vicious when hungry. If we allowed strays to mate, we would have litters and generations of ferrel dogs. Ferrel dogs are not civilized. They can also mate with wolves and coyotes. That's why the government, the human society comes right out to pick up a stray dog, but don't care about cats. That's why dogs need a license. Think about it

I have friends who lived in an original beach community that most homes were converted for year doing living. The house next door to them went up for sale and it was purchased by an individual who served time for S crimes against children. Needless to say they went nuts and immediately put their house up for sale which it was sold to an older childless couple. Several years later their only daughter who was 11 at that time started acting weird and they got her into counseling. That counseling revealed that their daughter had been abused by her paternal grandfather since around the age of 6. That did not surprise me having been an ER nurse for many years now retired and saw many child abuse victims over the years and most all the perpetrators were family members or close family friends and associates known to the child. That being said, Uncle Joey could be more of a threat to a child than these individuals who live in this trailer park who are monitored by law enforcement for physical movement and online activity which is not the case with good old Uncle Joey. Parents need to be very cautious who they let their children interact with unsupervised.

What a shame. Most of these neighborhoods were good places to live. In the sixties seventies and eighties a lot of families moved to Florida and many of these mobile home parks popped up. Good families wanting to live in a warm climate. My moms side mostly migrated to this very area before I was born and went to visit them. Never felt unsafe, and neighborhoods were well kept.

I've noticed on census based online maps (I'm a map nerd!) that much of Pinellas county and north into Pasco just a bit inland from but parallel to the coast has had a dramatic increase in poverty and huge decline in inflation adjusted incomes since about 1980. Meanwhile, the actual coastal strip has gentrified intermittently and upscale new development has boomed much further inland.

I've had patients inside here before and its mostly older men with nothing really to do. As far as sex offenders getting disability, I was a Correctional Officer for over 10 years. Rather than them not finding a job that would hire sex offenders, I don't have a problem with them getting disability. Reason being is because disability will get them the basics to stay alive, rather than them feeling like they have to re-offend to go back to prison where they get 3 hots and a cot. Some ex-cons become institutionalized after having done so much time, they don't know how to function in free society. I could see how living in a mobile home park like that and getting the equivalent of "state pay" would give the institutionalized ones a sense of feeling like they're incarcerated again, so they don't re-offend, or commit another sex act on some poor victim, who would then be traumatized.

👍👋 hey, I live in Michigan I’m a homeowner. I’d like to move somewhere to Florida in a safe quiet little area. Rent or purchase a little two bedroom mobile home in a decent little park. It’s fine. I’m 62, Social Security and pension. My husband passed a few years ago.😢
I have an adult 30 year-old son who is epileptic so he can’t drive. They won’t give him a license. He’s on medication. But he’s a great help and he’s very talented musician. But we’re very quiet. We have no criminal record never been to jail, just honest, hard-working people. I’d like to sell my home and I tired down to a peaceful little place. 55+ is fine as long as they will except my adult son! So do you know of any decent little places like this around anywhere in Florida? It doesn’t have to be near the beach. I actually grew up at a young age in Clearwater and then my high school years were spent up in the Live Oak area. After I become an adult, I moved like a lot of people up to the GM factory.
Do you know of any place? That’s a decent little little park even if it isn’t 55+ but it’s a decent small park with low rent and a decent two bedroom, two bath, mobile home mobile home or a 55+ that will except my son that I would be so grateful.😊
My sister lived in Pinellas for a while and then moved into the safety Harbor area.
🤬 Heck, no! We shouldn’t be paying for them! They’re not good, honest working people! Their predators they took the life of somebody’s child, or whether it was a child or an adult. The rapist or offenders they’re people who don’t belong in society! They belong in a nuthouse, ship them all out to California!
Yeah, that I noticed on the ring doorbell cam. There’s a person on here called D’Orville news, I follow their little videos, and what’s up with all these people that are like zombies that are going around nuts, waving marsh machetes, and I mean it’s not even safe to be an elderly person like myself I mean I feel safe right here in Michigan where I live in my home I own my home. I’m in a good little community and I feel very safe. Maybe I’m Better off to find a little place just to lift part of the year and then come back here where I always have a place to come back to😂
I think personally that rant Ron DeSantis just run Florida right in the ground. Just let everything go that all these people in don’t give a crap. Who’s good and who is it? Just destroyed that state. Now he wants out run for president! I would never vote for him! Just because I live in Michigan doesn’t make me a democrat either and just because I would move to Florida wouldn’t make me a republican! I’m not any affiliation I’m for what’s right and fair and good and peaceful and quiet.
Could you do a video like where you go up like safe from Clearwater and just kind of follow the coastline up and maybe explain what you’re saying you’ll probably have to have more than one video on it maybe video 12 and three and then you explain what’s going on around the coast and if you have access to the beach and watch some of these little towns are like and if there’s good and bad kind all the way up the coast on the west side until you get up to where you have to turn around and start heading back cause you’re running out of Florida lol would be nice if you could do a video like that I wonder what it’s like because when I lived there in Florida and in several different places and was familiar with Live Oak, Gainesville, Port Ritchie, all the way down the whole coast on both sides was back in the 70s and 80s but now we’re talking 2023. So I’m just wondering what is it like up the coast I know Panama City Panama was beautiful but what’s it like now is there any place up there that’s decent anywhere up that whole western strip of Florida all the way up to the top and back down?

I believe all states have restrictions on where registered offenders can live. This creates small areas open to them, and even smaller number of options to rent.
On a likely a much smaller scale than this, this scenario exists everywhere.
In my small city of about 25k, there is one apartment complex in an otherwise commercial area that seems to be the place, per state police map.
Was also an old SRO hotel downtown too, but it was condemned and demolished.
I did like seeing the vintage trailers in that park, especially the Spartan that made a few appearances!
