Wind Up Bird Chronicles sounds so interesting! In The Company of Witches sounds wonderful. Definitely going onto my tbr later this year. Children's Pictures books are still reaaaaaal. Only two re-reads? Let's get to Breaking Dawn asap! I really need to read 'Goldenland past Dark', 'Killball', and the rest! 'Not to be crass' - oh you know something good is coming when you say that hahaha. Woah didn't think 'A Choir of Ill Children' would win! All the unique reads sound amazing. Truly it sounds like you had a killer year for reading! I need to read more Lansdale. Your categories are so well thought out and really special! Always the best top list of the year to watch! I like how you said 'we might not be able to relate to the murderous aspects' because you never know who could be watching...maybe they do relate. MCCAMMIEEEEEE! Wow Speaks the Nightbird has a really interesting plot. McCammon deals with religion in a really fascinating way, so excited to dive into that one! BLEAK IT UP. Those audiobooks in that section that I've listened to WERE SO GOOD. Where the Chill waits is legit IMPOSSIBLE to track down in old school format, must have had a really limited print run. RUDY! RUUUUUUDY! He's such an evil B hahaha. The setting for Maynard's House is great! I NEED to read Dark MAtter! YES the atmosphere in Where the Chill Waits was wild. Diavola does have an AMAZING cover!
