Yeah I think I found a great motor... you should try one in your tto2 Buggy search kyosho 550 14T motor like 20 bucks and I have them in my kyosho mad van and fazer on road car those fly so I am thinking they would be sweet in the tamiya cars.
Hey Steve, not a bad speed for a 550 motor seeing how they are mostly for torque.. I only got 33 Mph with mine and I'm using all kinds of hop ups, Titanium screws, slipper clutch (48 pitch gears with 26 tooth pinion), Tamiya 10.5 brushless motor with a Tekin RS Gen 3 esc being fed by a 2S high voltage, shorty pack (7.6v).
Hi I found a motor I think that will be fast and run cool... Try a kyosho 550 14T motor in your cars that make the motors run hot they are cheap too! That's going to be my next motors in line to use!
Well that stinks it ended up a bit slower. If it is easy I would try the bigger pinion first and see what happens. I know the motor is major surgery to get out of there.
Sorry, it doesn't fulfill your expectations. At the end it looks cool. This motor shouldn't get so ho. 12T might be faster, but I fear this might melt down the chassis.
It definitely does good on the low end lots of wheels spin power
👋
Yea that's about it! LOL!! Thanks
Nice test Steve!👍😊
The 1060 should handle a 12t.

The 1060 can handle down to a 12 turn.
Cool looking rc and nice rip,go for 12t and let it rip
Yeah I have a bit more testing to do on this one! Thanks
👋😃👍
Thanks
It may be green but at least you're allowed to work on it.
😁👍

Yeah thanks, I have a couple more tricks up my sleeve! I just want a little more speed.
Beauty!
😁👍
For the speed it runs hot, just like the TL-01B that always runs hot and not fast.

It needs to be fast! I run a 24t with a TBLM-02s 10.5T in my TD2. Give it more power!
Thanks, More testing to come!
I vote for a super stock BZ 💨👍
Noooooo not in this it would burn right up. still working on this one! Thanks
I have the Tamiya brushless 10.5 and it has a decent amount of speed. That 550 seems sluggish.
Yeah it's only 17T not that hot
A 12 turn should be fine. I suggest a fan on the motor, in the scoop.
We will see I got to run more tests. Thanks
Am I drunk or did it seem faster with a silver can? Definitely try out a cheap Amazon 12t.
👍😎👍
No no no that was a wltoys 16T 540 motor that was a pretty fast motor. Still working on this buggy! Thanks

Yep that's what I am going to try first and i have something else in line if that don't do the trick! Thanks for watching.
If push comes to shove, go get a 12t 550... if injora is what you want... they make a rebuildable 11t 550.
If there is one thing this buggy can have... you can find a cooling fan for the motor. Yes, it has provisions for it.
Still working on this buggy if a pinion gear swap don't do it I have something else up my sleeve!

yeah I have to test a larger pinion and if that don't do the trick I have something else up my sleeve! Thanks for watching.
My scooter is faster
Yep it is! Got to make this a hair faster! Thanks
