Dear friend, Please don’t worry about how you come off. I have enjoyed every minute of your uploads and I have the deepest respect for your “know how”. My only inch is that would like you to turn the key and start them up, the E-type, the Merc, the racing bike and now the Star Wars thing/bike. Keep up the good and very interesting works!!! A little question. I have seen on RUclips people building small, very small V8’s ever consider making the real thing?
Yes, but only by the thickness of the carbon, which won’t be noticeable. I’ll build up the thickness from the inside after the first layer is cured. Technically, I should make a mold, and lay up the carbon from inside a mold. But that takes a lot more materials and time. So for something that’s not dimensionally critical, doing it the way I am is ok.
I got excited about the milled part too!! I can’t wait for the carbon fiber layup either.
Thanks!

Thanks! And yes, I have thought about building a real engine. Someday, maybe.
13:10 everything is easy looking on from the side. It’s like backseat drivers, the world is full of them.
Yup!
Just a thought. If you put carbon fiber on the green “thing” won’t it become a size to large since it now is the correct size?
