Maybe he needed the slow-paced calming Harvest Moon dose, BECAUSE of the super stressful horror game. It's just like having spicy curry along plain bland rice. Gotta counter-balance that stuff or you'll regret it in the morning...
Plus Jared, after the voice actors caused a (deserved) commotion to get paid, they deserve to have their work heard. (Apparently it was all mishandling not bad intent on them not being paid right away, many of them spoke highly of the devs after having their wages finally arrive, some were even speaking well before just also voicing frustration at the pay issue)
Ms. Editor had it hard with the RE2 LP, but here we see the toll it took on Jared. The poor man momentarily thought *'PworkShop'* was an act of brilliance. Good thing we have the cross-dimensonial telepathy powers of Ms. Editor to save us and especially Jared from himself
I enjoyed that game... right up until it took literally everything away from me that I'd gathered and built and told me "Here, start all over... but harder."
@@thepopeofatheism I didn't mind it so much, because I was enjoying building stuff. And I kinda was excited to build in the new settings with new challenges ahead of me. Building up a city to fight the new boss was fun! But I get what your saying, spending a lot of time on one city, then "losing" all your progress is pretty jarring.
It's amazing how entertaining this is. Nothing really happened but a peaceful setting and the excitement Jared has for a crafting/farming game is really endearing.
@@samusx2175 No, but now that you mention it maybe I should check the patch notes and see if they added any Audrey II seeds (and maybe some dining room furniture so I can invite the townsfolk over for dinner).

Great job on getting everything done and the house repairs on day two. Very direct. Spend those skills points asap. My advice: you're going to do a LOT of mining. Get your first 2 points into reducing stamina cost of mining, then of the axe after that. After those, it doesn't matter much so pick whatever you want to do. There are a lot of hidden chests around the world and town, they can give you can early boost if you look around. Don't worry about the weapon yet. The abandoned ruins aren't dangerous and you need to go in there to craft the weapon anyway. The last advice I'd give is to make a lot of furnaces.
I seen this on the Nintendo eshop and I wasn't sure about it but this video has already got my interest. I'm always down for a chill playthrough. Let's go baby.
Love to see you playing this game! I am obsessed with Portia at the moment. Love higgins btw. I chat with him almost daily despite not being able to change the nemesis thing.
I'm watching this directly after finishing the final season of Battlestar Galactica, and I can't help connecting them together, like this game is a sequel.
I'm definitely excited for this! Can't wait for a deal with it llama pet, and spooky haunted ruins. I will happily watch this for as long as you want to play it. A nice good happy choice of a game.
@@magicalsleeper Well it did get one DLC for the end game stuff. I beat it and mastered every job (which you have to do) just to get the final job levels done which made it super grindy.
Thank you for actually PLAYING this game. I have tried watching three others, but they IMMEDIATLY jumped into punching the townsfolk, killing all the animals they saw, or playing RPS with everyone. =| While I understand that can be fun I would actually like to see, you know, GAMEPLAY. Because this game SEEMS LIKE it could be right up my alley but of course I have yet to see what it is actually like in play.
My brain kept reading “PrworkShop” as “porkchop”. The Porkchop Workshop. Anyway, this looks like it’d be fun to watch. I wanna see you explore this game! I wanna see looore.
Hey Jared! I want to give you some advice that isn't spoilers. I highly, HIGHLY recommend you turn the game speed in the options down to 50% so that 1 in-game minute is 2 seconds irl. The game is way too fast for beginners otherwise and you'll get stressed out later in the game where mission deadlines are more common. Also do it for Ginger so that she can actually reach the river at night.
I'm really, really glad you're playing this game, I've put around 25 hours in it already and it's really great, I hope it'll be a long and enjoyable series like Stardew valley or Graveyard keeper ^^
I love how happy Jared was when he discovered he could actually use the poop he picked up to make planters lol, the look of happiness on his face was priceless😂😁😂. I really like the look of this game, I think once it finally comes to consoles I will have to give it a try it looks right up my alley.
When the ship sailed to the port I instantly got a Skies of Arcadia vibe (Eternal Arcadia in my case). Sidenote: Can that gamma be turned down? There's so much of it it's drowning out the color.
Jared: *takes 3 swings to chop down bush* Also Jared: "I have exactly three swings left" Also Also Jared: *moves to huge tree* Also Also Also Jared: *runs out of chops before tree is felled* lol!
Alright, from the looks of things, I'll have fun counting money made and commissions completed. Even have a day tracker to clarify time outside of episodes. Sounds like fun to me! I'll start that next episode I think, once the money rolls in. This is gonna be a fun series to watch!
I was wondering if you were gonna play this. Kinda excited that you are. I love this game. I go back and forth on whether I like having voices on or off, so either way is good with me.
I'm normally not into crafting type of games, but this one seems interesting to watch and play. I like the whole RPG aspect. It kinda reminds me of an online RPG game I used to play called Ragnarok 2. I have a feeling that I'm going to enjoy this series. Personally, I like voices off, but that's because I enjoy the voices you gave to the characters. Haha.
I bought this game back when it was still in early access (I LOVE farming games) but even now that it is fully out I haven't booted it up even once ^^" I'm excited to watch you play this!!
I'm really looking forward to seeing your progress in this series, Jared! This is an AMAZING game! Some of the voice acting is bizarre, but quaint! I do think the voices are fitting and grow on you after a while. Suggestion: Build wooden storage and especially metal storage once you're able to! It's pretty easy to sort things, and you won't need to keep everything in your rucksack (backpack) to craft things as it automatically takes things from your storage(s)! You can also marry same sex in this game, I.E girl x girl, guy x guy! It's so great to befriend people!!
Also, to my personal tastes, the Portia combat and exploration is a lot more satisfying and rewarding than Stardew. Again, personal pref, but it definitely makes this game worth getting excited about.
This is awesome! Getting Harvest Moon Back To Nature vibes all over from it which is extremely nostalgic for me. Keep it up dewd, i'm über committed/invested already! [:=
