When used right, all of Maggie's abilities can be defensive. Along with the mentioned use of the ball, you can also use the drill to block off entrances for a short while, forcing the enemy to a different entrance or to wait altogether.

Using Maggie’s drill to break a door so you can throw a ball through is pointless because the ball smashes through without exploding anyway. Just throw the ball instead of wasting the tactical. Also if you need to break the door, it’s better to shoot the drill to the side of the door so it doesn’t go away when it breaks and it ends up breaking it faster anyway.

Maggies ball destroys doors so you don't need to use her drill to break it. Its actually reccomended to keep doors unbroken so you have more to play with

You can also put the drill underneath some buildings to and still hit them 🎉 or at an angle at doors so it will stay and tick longer🎉

I would've thrown that using her ult to escape comes with the immediate danger of the enemy team getting the same benefit to chase you. If you're fighting a team with a octane you really wanna think twice before using it to run away with no health.

I would throw Maggie ball to the side of a opponent thats behind cover then throw a grenade to the opposite side of cover then push the direction of the ball.. damage from the ball while push enemy into grenade then finish..

It helped me once, I was not with my teammates to open a care package, a full squad from long to mid range was about to push me so i ulted to escape and regroup with my squad. A couple of seconds helped me survive because of the speed
