I completely agree with what Yetide Badaki said; there were a number of scenes in that show where I felt like "I have seen this before" and only after giving it some thought, I realized that I hadn't SEEN it before, I had READ it before. The way they pulled those scenes off on the screen is 100% what I had imagined when reading the book. To me, that is basically their highest accomplishment and considering how close they are staying to the source material, I am confident that this is going to be one of the best shows ever created.
21:37 that's exactly how David Slade directs, swinging his arms around and describing energetic visuals to actors. Also Bryan seems to always work with the most charming people!
I had almost forgoten "kings" highly underrated show. This has been brilliant so far and including the creator was brilliant. Wish Anderson, Chenowith and Glover (Mr world) and the other regs could be there. Can't wait for season 2 and beyond.
The people with flower crowns are Fannibals (fans of Bryan Fuller's previous show, Hannibal)! It's a symbol for the love and passion we have for the show and its artistry
Ricky is from my hometown, as are quite a few British 'celebs' for some reason, strange that a northern English working class town has produced so many. lost his accent though it seems lol.
"Ricky, sit down." LMAO. Ian's sass is amazing.
The pace of Gaimans speech is so measured, personal and conversational
Ricky and Ian are so great together.

I'm no fangirl, I'm new to the book and the series but let me just say the cast is divine! Just wow! 😍
