Such a cool car. I'm no expert but with its new significantly stiffer chassis and upgraded suspension that might turn out to be the best handling XB coupe in the world. It's worthy of an amazing paint job. Keep up the fantastic work. I look forward to the next video.
I found your hardtop again after losing track of it some time ago.i love the quality of your work, your thought process in moving forward with this project.that suspension set up looks amazing.should be a stunning motor vehicle when finished.
Hey Pete, thanks mate, but no those wheels are not the final ones, not wide enough, plus they are a mass produced item ! Final wheels will be custom made
Another high quality video highlighting your work on this superb build and to top it off no pointless waffle like so many other similar videos. Keep up the great work, I'm waiting for more.
I’m just in awe of what you are doing here. This video is very well put together and edited as well. Enjoying the journey and am really looking forward to the end product. Keep up the good work cause these videos keep getting better.
Gday Tom,after watching Howard Astill build his last project and having watched what you’ve done with this one so far I can’t wait to see how it continues.Going to be great to watch your progress
Progress is progress Tom. Building cars isn't always step 1 through to conclusion. Sometimes it's get to step 200 and go backwards to step 17. Looking good thus far😉👍👍
Nice work mate; I empathise with you working solo on such a unique build, and applaud you for sharing your journey as I am sure it adds to the workload. i like your way of thinking- my car, my build.
It’s looking so good Tom So you are building it up to see it all in and then you have to pull it all apart again to paint it And then put it back together
Thanks David, yeah thats right, have to go through all this to be sure all modifications are done and will work before going to paint. would want to need to alter something once its all painted
This is awesome. I’m going to go pro on my head every job I do now, so I can find that nut or bolt or spanner I can’t find that I really need and have spent 2 hours looking for😂. Will save some time for sure…
Hi Tom love your work not bad at all for a crane operator tell me something if this car is going to be a modern car in a old shell are you going to put interior air bags as the Mustang did?
Hi mate thanks very much for the comment. No , cant use airbags in these old cars, for one, the windows are not designed for it , thats what the Engineer told me anyway
No half measures as usual Tom each step the cars more impressive the engineering to get proper clearances with suspension with the calipers how many pistons front and rear another quality video you need good brakes with that horsepower
Thanks mate, Not sure yet, but I do like the deep bronze colours , or RootBeer , but definitely not original Fords colours.....Haha just noticed your profile pic here , nice Coloured Coupe !
Tom I have a 2016 gt mustang if you want To go carbon fibre acsessary route eg wingletts roush cost 150 us go ali- express 15aus crazy but true take look mustang acsessary items
Hi Rob, not at this stage, I am hoping by using the full donor cars wiring harness and computers that this will be almost plug and play, but time will tell
that is gonna drive sooo much better than any other coupe on the road!
lets hope so! but I think you will be right

Thanks very much mate, yes I think it should handle really well, with this suspension and low centre of gravity

Hey Pete, thanks mate, but no those wheels are not the final ones, not wide enough, plus they are a mass produced item ! Final wheels will be custom made

What colour are you painting this car Tom . Me I think it would look amazing Tropicana Green 😊
Not 100% sure yet Stuart, it wont be any of the original Ford colours because of it being a completely custom car , maybe something a little exotic
No 1 oi nothern but priceless.
So much work all for test fitting! The way to do it but jeesus just to pull it all apart again for painting. Did I miss parking brakes?
hey mate , yeah alot of work but worth it, parking brake not in yet, need to run the cables
No half measures as usual Tom each step the cars more impressive the engineering to get proper clearances with suspension with the calipers how many pistons front and rear another quality video you need good brakes with that horsepower
Thanks Russell, at the moment the rotors are from the Mustang Donor car, not sure what I will be using later, but would love to get something lighter
Well done 👍 stay on it it will come together in no time ! what colour are you going to paint it ???
Thanks Ben, Im getting that question alot, but Im not sure yet, but when I know I will let everyone know
What about chrome as a body colour with black hilights something out of this world !
Yeah mate its all chrome delete
Great work mate what colour you going to do coupe?
Thanks mate, Not sure yet, but I do like the deep bronze colours , or RootBeer , but definitely not original Fords colours.....Haha just noticed your profile pic here , nice Coloured Coupe !

Tom I have a 2016 gt mustang if you want To go carbon fibre acsessary route eg wingletts roush cost 150 us go ali- express 15aus crazy but true take look mustang acsessary items
Thanks mate, not sure what parts your meaning , but for now I will assemble and see what works and what i want to change
Tom, are you using a haltec computer to tell the car what to do?
Hi Rob, not at this stage, I am hoping by using the full donor cars wiring harness and computers that this will be almost plug and play, but time will tell
I'm geting a stiffie
😂😂😂😂😂😂
ok the music git a little better
🍺👍🏻👏
Change those wheels. Everyone has them and it doesn’t suit the theme of the car.
The wheels are for fabrication only , and moving it around the workshop mate
@@phatridesgarage3760 good to here. This car is to unique and such a quality build to wear something like those. Keep. Up the good work.👍
@@Louie2309 Cheers mate !
