I feel like a lot of us are going through the season of realizing we need to become closer to God. And its not a bad thing that we might of been distant but finding our way back and knowing we got Him is a great feeling. Thank you for speaking about health and chronic illnesses. My 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with Crohn's 3 years ago, and it's been a whirlwind of emotions. Seeing someone you love in pain, is the most helpless feeling, and I could totally relate to what you were saying. Holding on to our faith is what keeps us going. Praying for you and Hector. ❤

Barely now in my mid-30's am I figuring out what works for me in regards to feeling good and comfortable in my skin; we all just need to be patient with ourselves. I visited Amsterdam back in 2013 and it was incredible - people, food and sights were unforgettable!

Jas, I just want you to know that as someone with an autoimmune disease that will be lifelong and that I just got diagnosed with at 23, I get some of what he may be going through but I never thought about what my person could be going through so thank you for your words and know that you guys are our light and there is a special place in heaven for you guys that carry our pain because sometimes you carry more than us with all that you do ♥️
Seeing you walk in your faith the last year or so has been so touching to me. When you talk about it, it makes me TEAR UP. I’m so glad you and Hector have the Lord’s comfort during your struggles because it DOES make you feel so much better knowing your in God’s hands, even in the tough times. At least it does for me. I pray for not just his health, but yours as well. It’s hard to watch those we are closest to suffer, but never doubt how much you are appreciated, even tho your heart wishes you could do even more. Sometimes the best thing a partner can do is take good care of themselves too. Your are no good to ur significant other if you run yourself in to the ground. God Bless you and your family Jas! So true on everyone going through something whether it be big or not. My niece has been in the hospital for 4 months dealing with autoimmune encephalitis. We got news from doctors that my 4 year old niece probably won’t ever learn how to talk, eat or walk but with God we are keeping hope and faith.

As someone who also struggles with chronic illness, it’s been really hard on me and my fiancée this year. But we are all going through something, even though we don’t always see it. I appreciate you talking so openly about your faith as well. I have pulled away many times but am trying to be more consistent in pursuing that relationship. I’m praying for your family. I suffered from fibromyalgia and lupus for 7 years. I was fully non functional and took 22 pills a day. It wasn’t until I completely surrendered to God and started claiming my healing out loud to everyone in my life and one day I went up for prayer and he healed me instantly. I threw away all my meds and have never experienced the symptoms again. You two are doing all the right things. Hang in there
Aawweee Jess you almost made me cry at the end of the video. 😢 So glad you brought that up because my husband has had episodes of diverticulitis and will possibly be having a colon resection surgery in December to be able to have a better lifestyle so I get it. Yes ,you are totally right about getting closer to God and just hanging in there. Love that you also mentioned about when you don't have kids because I don't and probably don't plan to either and its always that question of why or when. Love your videos by the way. Love and light to you and Hector. As someone with MS, I know how hard life with auto-immune things really is. And it is equally hard on the partner, the care taker, the loved one who sees it every day and is living through it with you. You say there is nothing you can do, and while that is true in some ways please remember that being someone's bright spot and moral support is definitely doing something. Sometimes you just need to be the person that they can rely on to do what needs to be done, but also lifts you out of it and being a good distraction... that is just more valuable than words can express. Thank you for sharing and for such sound advice. I have been battling big life decisions about becoming a home owner as well as starting a family. I also battle chronic illness that Im fighting to get answers on and I totally understand, it is draining for both me and my Husband who has to face that helpless feeling. We are trying to just keep praying and trusting God has a plan and time for us.
