Sky News host reacts to ‘fumbling fumbelinas’ Secret Service following Trump shooting

- Sky News host Danica De Giorgio has called out "fumbling fumbelinas" in the Secret Service following an assassination attempt on former US president Donald Trump.
A 20-year-old gunman shot Trump in the ear during a failed assassination attempt during a rally in Butler Pennsylvania.
“Well as the Secret Service rushed to get Donald Trump away from the chaos, have a look at the fumbling fumbelinas who comprise his security detail,” she said.
The 3 women on the detail had no clue, a total clown show.
They thought it was an audition for the next Charlie's Angels movie.

He would have been alive if the security forces did their job better. How they left out a nearby building so close to the stage is pure incompetence or willful malice. Sadly Trump was shot at and survived purely by his luck. And even more sad that people got gravely injured and one person died. The secret service lady head made this situation possible. Now I am hearing that they were not even real secret service agents but pulled from some other agency or division, and so they were not equal to secret service even though they were trying to be.

I have seen the same women in other public appearances that Trump had and wondered if they were good agents, now I know.
The director of the Secret Service is a woman appointee, who's main focus has been pushing diversity in the service. The goal is of reaching 30% female agents within a few years. DEI above competence, qualification, or capability to actually do the job. This is the new standard for all government agencies.

The problem is, men are bigger, faster and stronger. The best people are men. Absolutely there is a role for women in protection details, but the front line is never it. It is why there are no women operators. There are plenty of valuable women in support roles in special operations, but the tip of the spear is the domain of men.

That said, as long as the job is open to her, she will give 110%.

Since when do Secret Service agents seek cover instead of covering the person they are assigned to protect.
Anyone who has seen Trump in person knows he is a tall man. Why would the SS assign agents to him who come up only to his armpits? It's a serious question - why don't the SS match or come close to matching their package's height?

The current head of secret service is a woman who was the former head of security for PepsiCo. She repeatedly turned down additional security requests for Trump given the highest threat he’s ever faced.

As most Americans, I've seen plenty of interviews about the attempted assassination, but, yet not one of them brings into question the person who is in charge of the Secret Service that day! Yes, the person directly responsible for the security, has not been mentioned in any interview, why is that? Just curious who that person is! What is the experience of that person was that person a DIY promotion??

The Secret Service always commands the situation. They have sole responsibility. In the past, the Secret Service didn't trust local LEO's to do anything that wasn't directly supervised by a SS agent. Blaming local law enforcement is like blaming the water department. It wasn't local LEO's gig.

@norman6694 Two things...(1) We don't know for sure who warned who before the shots, but it has been acknowledged that the SS snipers were zeroed in on the shooter and his rooftop lair for quite a while before the first shots were fired. So...someone told them something! (2) The SS is ALWAYS in charge when it comes to dignitary protection. They rely on local law enforcement for assistance as many officers are needed at any given event. They don't hand off their responsibilities to locals as you suggested. The locals provide extra eyes and ears. I know this from personal experience. I was a LEO for many years and I worked with the SS dignitary protection units on several occasions. I was one of the 'locals' on at least a dozen occasions, going back as far as President Reagan.

I don't agree with your opening, but I absolutely say there is NO PLACE for them on this team. YOU KNOW there are many tasks that women could do in the police force that doesn't involve this type of work - let them do those tasks.
