Somebody's Backyard Pumpkin Patch 10/15/23

Apologies for not reading and replying to comments! I'm so unaccustomed to getting them. Thanks for all the views.
There are still pumpkins out in the garden in zone 5B in mid-OCTOBER!!! I honestly don't know how to handle this...

Thanks. I guess I'll go out and breathe on them and try to make them ripen, lol. Don't know what else to do at this point. Hope you're well; got involved in competing in a figure skating competition and life has been upside down ever since.

I'm in the same situation as you right now lol, 3 late season pumpkins in my mini garden, one mid-sized, the others very small less than 3 lbs. 2 of them are ripening tho so that is a good sign. A suggestion I have that I do as well is cover your pumpkins up with a towel or blanket during nights below 50 degrees F, it keeps the fruit healthy and the vine too. Good luck gardening!
