Dokyun won with no doubt
I would of like to see one more battle, Dokyun had sophisticated and high level moves, good hits, waves, boogaloo, isolation, musicality with the odd beat freak, glides, a bit of puppet.
Angyl came too BATTLE and battled hard, good hits, grooves, shakes and just raw.
I think the more rounds would play to dokyuns advantage cus angyil is a bit like ditto and fikshun etc etc once uve seen one round uve kinda seen all she has, in my opinion anyway. it wouold get repetitive
Kite is the only one who made the right call

Recently I watched the battle of the Dokyun in who’s the boss which is new battle program ,anyway since found this dancer I started the tour of his battle ..really amazing!
that's why kite is in a higher level than the rest two judges.

At what point does being sound in foundation trump battle tactics? I get that it's a battle but please tell me how Angyil had better foundation, only thing I can say she had better was her character which she got into when she had that door opening concept.
I'm looking to have a conversation about this with someone who is knowledgeable please. I really don't understand how Dokyun lost, is it just because he dint battle her as hard or what?

monstapop and frantick cant even dream to be in dokyun lvl. Angyl dance was super simple, she just angry face and "battle style". I'm sorry for Dokyun, at least he knows Kite is in his side.
Angiyl is dope as hell, but she didn't really do much this round. Dokyun took this.

this could not be more true and i just commented on a vid where dokyun beat nelson saying im so happy to see him win one cus he always gets robbed. hes so clean and technical and sick with musicality but i think its too subtle for some to notice or appreciate? some of his stuff is small precise movemnets etc? anyways i have always thought of angyil as what i like to call a "meme" dancer, nonstop, poppin john, ditto, fik shun etc come to mind. Sick dancers but they belong in a showcase, they do not match up to the level put out by dokyun, hoan, green, kite, guchon, etc etc when it comes to a track they havent prepared something for ahead of time.

Angyil drived so crazy on this music. But totally Dokyun's skill is more higher than her.
Angyil just did in battle performance, bit provocative. Only that. But Dokyun shown that he's various movements.
If the place of battle is Japan or Korea the judgement will be changed the reverse.

See this is a perfect example of bringing the "Street" and "Battle" in Street Battle Styles. On a purely technical and difficulty level, Dokun won that, no doubt, but in a legit old school street battle, Angyil out-swagged this round.
but i feel like she "won" on swag + battle aggresion and i am sure she went in his face cus she knew he just smoked her. and i guess that was enough for 2/3 judges but man i thought dokyun destroyed her same as hozin did the year before. shes not on a top poppers level quite yet imo.

Thanks for uploading. Good battle. Yes, Dokyun got robbed but well Angyil was pretty good too from battle perspective. In a battle, you just have to constantly be in their face and provoke them ^_^

angyil is nothing like greenteck, green is legit a beast and clean af with strong foundation. i find her hella sloppy in comparison. or did u mean the bucket hat? lol

I think this is just a debate in judge preference, Angil definitely came to BATTLE with her battle tactics and going for the blow ups however Dokyun performed at a higher level overall. I would of gave it to Dokyun but not mad at this call either! My opinion of course
i dont think battle tactics should be taking priority over execution, musicality, originality etc when it comes to a dance battle. maybe if it was a tie there but one was "battling" hard like that it can edge it but on the dance itself it was not close.
Basically what I said, I think Dokyun won however as a judge it just comes down to preference, I've asked people like Mr.Wiggles in person after loosing a round and he said that he liked how the other person was using battle tactics and going for it VS my clean moves and concepts. At the end of the day the judges get to choose not us... Doesn't mean I agree with the decision however.
yeh i wasnt disagreeing with u man just adding my own thoughts. I dont think thats right in a battle personally, i mean it has to be about the dance primarily surely? i cant pop for shit but i could get in someones face, doesnt make me better than them at popping. thats how i see it anyway =)
Yeah I definitely see your point as well, I don't really know weather it's right or not however in this type of case I don't think it should take priority over skill as you said haha. If the battle was super close and one person displayed some battle tactics as well I believe that should edge them into victory though...It is really circumstantial though and of course how creative you are in doing so. Didn't see a lot of creativity in the approach here though...

I disagree but id love to see ur vid on this one, fan of ur channel ^^. I think dokyun smoked her tbh, way cleaner, better musicality, and u can see kite voted for dokyun, angyil brought attitude but less musicality and sloppier execution imo.
