- How to make Beignets Banane also called Beignets maïs (an African breakfast Recipe). This is a classic African street food.

To make 5 servings you need
5 ripe bananas
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup of semolina (corn flour)
1/2 tablespoon Active dry yeast
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 teaspoon of salt
oil to fry.
First, add the yeast into the warm water and a bit of the sugar. While the yeast is foaming, mashup the bananas, add the remaining sugar, the flour, Semonila and salt. Mix together then add the yeast Liquid and mix well.
Cover the bowl with a plastic film and let it rest for at least 1 hour in a warm area.
Fry it when ready

She truky wasn't ready to cook. Ingredients not in place , not quite sure of recipe and measurements. Instills a lot of doubts as to a fine end product since we could only see but not taste.
