Please can we make Diaz nunez Salah our starting front three for the foreseeable future. Nunez is delveopikg so much, his link up play, hold up play is looking so much better. Salah is just Salah. Diaz is so electric and runs at the defence. The perfect trio
But fresh Diaz and Nunez coming on in the hour mark is too unfair. Unleashing them on tired defenders is a tactic that cannot be counted out. So its a choice that Klopp will have to make, and frankly, he cannot be wrong whether he had started the two or not.
In this game I belive it was due to the fatigue of traveling. But for me it's tactical of who we use at top. Gackpo are a young version of Firmino while Nunez is a young version of Torres. Both good for different reasons. Depending what the team need. I personally think the team play better with a false nine player, but Nunez have been in fine shape this season. He need to work on his first touches and he can be one of the best.

We cannot start players like Gomez and expect winning on a consistent basis just by looking at his performance and especially recovering and getting back to position. Getting a real right back will free Trent also to be making his top class runs and holding his midfield with macallister.
You can see how good Robertson is when he's given more of a chance to get forward. I don't just mean the goal, of course. Also, why is he not VC? He's way more of a leader and a fighter than Trent is. Not knocking Trent, he's an incredible player for when we have the ball but he's no leader.

Another great comeback. But to echo other comments here, the slow starts are a concern. As klopp said the other day, he considers this year 1 of the rebuild. Given the amount of change this summer to the squad, the different profile of midfield players to their predecessors, and klopp playing a different system to previous years, it'll be a major accomplishment to be anywhere near city come May. Can't see a title challenge this year, but I'm hopeful that's coming soon. Think defence needs a revamp next. Too many players in that backline are inconsistent
If next summer will look like this one, szobo will continue to develop at such an incredible pace and salah stays, next season we're definitely title challengers

I was at this match actually and as poor as the first half was the changes from klopp made all the difference imo and that front five we currently have at our disposal is ridiculous frankly coady gakpo didn't offer much in the game in general until he scored but nunez and diaz off the bench must be a nightmare for opposition managers really YNWA 😁
The midfield was not firing at all for the first 40, and we could not progress the ball up the middle of the pitch. Gakpo dropping to help link up does not help when Mac could not even find Szobo or Jones with the ball.
